DRYER VENTING RECOMMENDATIONS
26-98382 — ADJUSTABLE PERISCOPE
Sections can be rotated 180° to
have openings on opposite sides
SIDE VENTING: The periscope is used when
necessary to decrease the space between back of
dryer and wall to 2 inches from 41/2inches. The
flexible pipe is used to complete the necessary
length of run.

Heavy gauge 4" diameter corrugated aluminum
pipe with special male/female combination
snap lock and clampable end fittings.
Clamps included. Available in 6 foot length.
“LOOP SYSTEM” VENTING: The flexible pipe
with heavy gauge drawn aluminum universal close
elbow is recommended where space is at a premium.
Takes up only 41/2inches between dryer and wall.
Allows dryer to be pulled in and out for service
without disconnecting system. Clamps included.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON DRYER VENTING
Do not use non-metal flexible duct. When installing the venting system, do not exceed the specified length for the vent
duct. Venting systems which are longer than specified will accumulate lint, increase drying time and energy use and
shorten the life of the dryer.

dimensions indicated must be observed.
To prevent large amounts of lint and moisture from
accumulating and to maintain drying efficiency, this
appliance must be vented outdoors.
