CONVENTIONAL SEWING MODE
In the Conventional sewing mode, there are four categories of sewing:
Utility stitches Select from 11 different utility stitches.
Buttonholes Select from five buttonhole variations, plus an eyelet.
Satin stitches Select from satin stitches, elongation patterns and program-assorted stitch combinations.
Decorative stitches Select from decorative stitches and program­assorted stitch combinations.

Clothsetter Kenmore Elite® [RSOS 93400]
Adjust the needle drop position [straight stitch],
stitch length and width
Press desired embroidery design to open the design in the Ready to Sew screen. Press the Edit Key on the Ready to Sew window to open the design on the Edit screen for adjustments.

Press to access 30 embroidery designs, plus Clothsetter crosshairs and outlines.
w Monogramming key
Press to choose from two fonts and two-or three-letter monogramming.
e ATA PC Card key
Press to open a Saved File.
r Card Reader key
Press to read 19000-series memory cards.
*To use memory cards, Reader 19000 and Y-style RS-232 cable are required. These items are sold separately from 19005.
t Edit key
Press to open the Edit Screen.
Embroidery Screen
When you select an embroidery design, the visual touchscreen will show the design’s parts and their sequence numbers, the thread color code, the presser foot to use, embroidery time, number of colors needed and the design’s actual measurements.
q Jog keys
Adjust the hoop position with the jog keys for precise placement.
w Trace key
Check the size of the embroidery area by pressing the trace key . The carriage traces the outline of the selected embroidery pattern before embroidering.
e Color/Part keys
The thread color and embroidery order of each embroider y part are indicated on these keys.

Edit Screen
In the edit mode, you can edit and combine designs to create original embroidery. You can open the built-in designs and monograms, or designs from the ATA PC Card.

Reader 19000 [RSOS 93301]
Attaches to model 19005 with a Y-style RS-232C cable (Sold sepa­rately). It reads Memory cards K-101 and above.
Y-style RS 232C cable [RSOS 93302]
For existing R/W 19000 owners, the Y-style RS-232C cable con­nects R/W 19000 directly to model 19005 without an AC adapter.

Customizer programs EasyImport and EasyEdit allow the user to create or modify embroidery designs. Embroidery data should be saved in [.JEF] file format before transferring to SanDisk

CompactFlash™ card.
To save embroidery designs to the SanDisk

CompactFlash™, computers without PC card slots require the CompactFlash™ Reader / Writer. Most laptop computers do not require an additional reader device.
Customizer includes both a SanDisk

CompactFlash™ PC Card Adapter. After embroi­dery data is saved, the card is attached to the SanDisk

CompactFlash™ PC Card Adapter.
The SanDisk CompactFlash™ and SanDisk

CompactFlash™ PC Card Adapter are inserted directly into the model 19005 PC card slot to access and embroider saved designs.
Kenmore memory cards K-101 and above, with the exception of copyright-protected designs and memory card K-111, can be used with model 19005. Two additional items are required.
Embroidery data from cards will be transferred to model 19005 with an additional device, the Reader 19000 and a Y-style RS­232C cable.
The Y-style RS-232C cable is required to connect the Reader 19000 directly to model 19005; an AC Adapter cable for Reader 19000 is not necessary.
Model 19005 can access and embroider designs from prefor­matted memory cards via the Y­style RS-232C cable and Reader
19000.
