Operating your Kenmore®
I) Beforestartingoperation,lift heaterfrom box. We recommendkeepingthe packaging for off-
seasonstorageand any transpor_needs.
2) Finda levelandunobstructedlocationto place theunpackagedheater.
3) Donotplugany otherappfiancesin whileheateris running,
4) Plugthepowercord directlyintoan unusedgrounded120 volt 15 amp circuit receptacle. The powerbuttonwillilluminateandthe heater will beep, indicatingtheunitis pluggedintothe
receptacle.
5) PressthePOWERb_on inthecontrolpaneltoturnontheheater.
6) Switchthe Mode Key to "High" inorder to have the]_eaterstay onhighheat and notcycle on and off.
7) "fireheaterisequippedwitha temperaturelimitingcontrolcontainedinsidetheunit.If the heaterstops working,itcould be becauseit hasreached itstemperaturelimit.Shut1hepoweroff,unplugunitand lettheunitcooldown(Approximately30-45 minutes),pluginunit,turnthe powerbackonand resume use.if the unitcontinuesto shutdownorthe unitdoesnotreset itself,pleasecall 1-800-839-0966.
IMPORTANT FEATUREAND INSTRUCTION=To turn the heater off, pressthe "Power" button; the fan will continue to run until all of the heat has been expelled and will then turn off. This
couldup to 5 minutes in somecases.DO NOT UNPLUGWHILERUNNING.
CabinetCare - Wipe cleanwith a soft damp cloth. Heater Storage - When the heater is not goingto be usedfor an extendedperiod of time,dothe
following:

3) Cover the heaterto preventdustfrom accumulatingonfilter or interna]]y.
4) Storethe heater ina dry, low dustenvironment.Preferably in the originalbox.
