START

Clean the lint screen.

Place laundryin dryer.

Shut the door.

SelectAuto Dry Cycle,

• Turncycle knob to recommendedAuto Dry Cycle for type of load being dried.

• Use NormalDry to dry most heavy to medium-weight fabrics.

or TimedDry Cycle.

• Turncycle knob to a TimedDry setting. Press and hold the PUSH TO START button.

END OF CYCLE SIGNAL CONTROL

The End of Cycle Signalsoundswhen a cycle is complete. This signalis helpfulwhen you are dryingpermanentpress,

synthetics,and other items that shouldbe removedfrom the dryer promptlyat the end of a cycle.

The End of Cycle Signalis selectable.The signalstops when you open the door or turn the End of Cycle Signalto Off.

If the WRINKLEGUARD® featureis on, the End of Cycle Signal soundsevery few minutes.If the End of Cycle Signalis turnedoff, you will not hear WRINKLEGUARD® sound every few minutes.

CYCLE SELECTOR (TIMER) CONTROL

Auto Dry

Duringthe Auto Dry Cycle,the exhaustair temperatureof the dryer determinesthe dryingtime and drynesslevels.A thermostat signalsthe Cycle Controlknob when to move into Cool Down.The dryingtime for an Auto Dry Cycle dependson load type and load size. When dryinga large or heavy load, the Cycle Controlknob may take a long time beforeit beginsto advanceinto Cool Down. The Auto Dry Cycle takes the guessworkout of dryingtime and enhancesfabriccare.The amountof time that is displayedis the estimatedtime remainingin the cycle.

The AutomaticCycle may be used for most mediumand lightweightloads.This cycle gives the best dryingin the shortest time. Dryingtime variesaccordingto the type of fabric,size of the load, and drynesssetting.

Drynessis determinedby the exhausttemperatureof the dryer.

When the drynessselectedis reached,the dryer goes into a

5 minute(approximately)cool down period.

The Cycle Selector(Timer)Controlmay be set to NormalDry, which is good for most fabrics.At the end of the cycle,you may check the drynessof the load.

If the load is drier than you like, you may selecta settingcloser to Less Dry the next time you dry a similarload.

If a load is not as dry as you like, you may completedryingusing a Timedcycle.Youmay selecta settingcloserto More Dry the next time you dry a similarload.

Timed Dry

This cycle may be used to get up to 70 minutesof heateddryingtime. The heating cycle is followed by a cool down period of up to

10 minutes.

Air Fluff

Youmay use the Air Fluffcycle to get up to 20 minutesof dryingtime in room temperatureair.This settingshouldbe used for items such as plastics,rubber,and heat-sensitivefabrics.

Touch Up

This cycle may be used to help smoothsyntheticand permanentpress clothesthat are clean but wrinkledfrom being crowdedin a closetor suitcase.This settingprovidesabout 20 minutesof heatedtumbling followedby a cool down periodof up to 10 minutes.

WRINKLE GUARD® I

WRINKLEGUARD® I helps smoothout wrinklesthat may form when clothesare not removedpromptlyat the end of a cycle.WRINKLEGUARD® I continuouslytumblesthe load, withoutheat, for 40 minutesunlessyou open the dryer door.

DuringWRINKLEGUARD® I, the End of Cycle Signalwill sound every 5 minutes.

Is the lint screencloggedwith lint?

• Clean the lint screenbeforeeach load.

Is the exhaustvent or outsideexhausthood cloggedwith lint?

• Lint shouldbe cleanedout of the exhaustvent at least once every 2 years.
