PREPARING YOUR BLENDER
1 Before assembling your blander, wipe blender base with a warm sudsy Dioih,
then wipe dean with a damp cloth. Dry with a soft doth Wash blender jar, lid, collar and blades in warm, sudsy water Rinse and wipe parts dry
2 Turn bIsndBf lar upside down Place the
gasket on the blade assembly (Flg.2)
3 Place the blsda assembly with the gasket
in the bottom opening of the jar (Flg-3),
4 Twist collar onto jar Be sure to engage
threads properly and securely |Fig.4). Turn assembled jar right sida up (Fig5)
CAUTION: Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
CAUTION: NEVER place blender's motor&asa in water or other liquids.

This blender has a soft start function when used in Uie norma! ON position with either the High or low speed (Fig, 6)
1 Make sure the Control Switch is in the OFF position and the power cord is urtplugged.
Í Place Slender motor/base on a dry, level, stable surface-
3 Set Jar assembly into place on motor/base, making sure motor/base and jar are
securely lightened into place.
4 Place the food solids and liquids to bs blended into the Jar and put the !ld on the jar

a Turn the Control Switch to turn the unit ON. The ON indicator wilt illuminate green.
Press and release the High or Low button to start blender. The button y^ou press will Illuminate green, The blender
You can also turn the blender OFF by turning the control switch to OFF.
The los Crush button is the highest and strongest speed of the blender.
In the Ice Crush speed, the Mender will stay on only as long as you keep pressing the tatton. As soon as you stop pressing, the blander will turn OFF (Rg.8).
7. To run the blender intermittently rather than continuously, lurrr the Control Switch to PULSE, When the blender Is In PULSE mods, the PULSE indicator light flashes green and the button you press for either High, Low or Ice Crush wlji only stay on as long ae you are pressing the button. As soon as you stop, the blender will lurn OFF,

BLENDER TIPS AND TiCHNIQüES
Cut Iruit into about 3/4-tnch long pieces To best circulate foods or frul! that are to be bfended with liquid, pour the liquid Into the
jar first, then add the solid foods or fruit. Some tasks cannot be performed efficiently with a blender. These are: Beating egg whites,
whipping Cfsam, mashing potatoes, grinding meats, mixing dough, and extracting juices
from fruit and vegetables
