If this product fails due to a defect in material or workmanship within one year from date of
purchase, return it to any Sears store or other Kenmore outlet in the United States for free
replacement.

This warranty applies for only 90 days if this product is ever used for other than private
household purposes.

This warranty only applies while this product is used in the United States.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which very

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:

1. Read all instructions.

2. DO NOT touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.

3. To protect against electric shock, DO NOT immerse cord, plug, or main Slow Cooker
unit in water or other liquids.

4. When using this appliance, provide adequate air space above and on all sides for
air circulation. On surfaces where heat may cause a problem, an insulated heat pad
is recommended.

5. CAUTION: When removing the glass lid, always lift and tilt the lid away from

you carefully to avoid scalding and allow water to drip back into the unit.

6. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

7. UNPLUG from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts.

8. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to
the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

9. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may cause injuries.

Evite los cambios extremos de temperatura en la fuente de cerámica y la tapa de vidrio.

• No use la olla de cocción lenta sin la fuente de cerámica colocada.

• Permita que se enfríe antes de limpiarla.

• Quite la fuente de cerámica y la tapa de vidrio y lávelas con agua caliente y
detergente suave para vajilla.

• Enjuáguela y séquela completamente.

• Nunca use limpiadores abrasivos o esponjas de metal para limpiar la fuente de
cerámica o la tapa de vidrio.

• Para ablandar comida pegada, llene la fuente de cerámica con agua tibia
jabonosa y deje que se ablande. Quítelas fregando suavemente con una
esponjita de nylon.

• La fuente de cerámica y la tapa de vidrio se pueden lavar en el lavavajillas. Sin

11. Never place the removable ceramic pot directly on a heated surface as this may
cause the ceramic pot to crack.

12. To disconnect the appliance, turn appliance "Off" first and then remove the plug
from the electrical outlet. Always hold the plug and never pull the power cord

13. NEVER let the cord hang over the edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

14. DO NOT place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

15. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other
hot liquids.

16. The glass lid and removable ceramic pot are fragile. Handle them with care.

17. DO NOT use this appliance for anything other than its intended use.

18. DO NOT store any materials, in this slow cooker when not in use.

19. To protect against electrical shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician to install a polarized outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.

20. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding cold or frozen ingredients into
a heated pot.

21. Never cook directly in metal housing. Always use the removable ceramic pot.

22. Never turn the appliance "On" when the ceramic pot is empty as this could cause
a malfunction.

23. This appliance is for household use only.
