The Professor Stereo Microscope (3) AA batteries
THE PARTS OF A STEREO MICROSCOPE
1. Eyepieces: Two 10x lenses that you use to look through.
2. Objective Lenses: The Professor Stereo Microscope consists of two objective lenses; 2x. When combined with the 10x eyepiece lens you get total magnifications of 20x (2x times 10x)
3. Stage Plate: The flat platform where you place your specimens. The metal clips can hold some of your specimens in place. This stage plate also has 2 sides; white and black.
4. Illuminator: The light source that is above the stage and is battery operated with 3 AA batteries.
5. Focus Knob: Use this knob located on each side of The Professor Stereo Microscope to focus the image of your specimen.
6. Base: The bottom of the stereo microscope that is used for support. The push button located on the back of the stage plate turns your microscope on/off. Batteries are located in the bottom of the base.
