IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical equipment, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
APPLICABLE INSTALLATION CODE BY A PERSON FAMILIAR WITH
THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT AND
THE HAZARDS INVOLVED. DISCONNECT POWER TO ALL CIRCUITS
BEFORE WIRING FIXTURE. INSTALL IN ACCORDANCE WITH
ALL NATIONAL, STATE, AND LOCAL CODES. DO NOT CONNECT
TO AN UNGROUNDED SUPPLY. READ ALL FIXTURE MARKINGS
AND LABELS TO ENSURE CORRECT INSTALLATION OF FIXTURE.
SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS MAY BE LOCATED ON THE
FIXTURE, IN ADDITION TO THIS INSTRUCTION SHEET, REGARDING
ORIENTATION, OR MOUNTING RESTRICTIONS.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the screw(s) from the luminaire
and unhook front housing (B) from the
baseplate assembly (C).
2. Remove the reector / wireway to expose the
mounting holes.
NOTE: The luminaires with the lamp options, F55TT Biax
and F24T5HO, will have the ballast fastened to the wire
way and are grounded to the baseplate with a quick
disconnect.
3. Remove 1.50" knockout in the center of the
baseplate (C).
Screw and Housing Removal
4. Use the baseplate (C) as a template and mark the
pilot holes (E) on the mount surface. Orient the
baseplate (C) with the angle bracket hook (D) at
the top.
5. To ensure wet location rating, apply square
gasket (supplied) around wire access opening and
six round gaskets (supplied) on the wall side of
the baseplate.
6. Using ¼-20 fasteners and anchors appropriate
for the mounting surface (not supplied), mount
xture base.
7. Disconnect facility power to the electric power
supply leads.

8. Connect the luminaire assembly
power leads to the power supply
leads. Make sure proper ground
is made. Use the correct size of
connectors that are applicable for the
gauge and number of wires
(not included).
9. Connections to be made in the
junction box not in the luminaire.
10. Reattach the reector / wireway with
the screws that were removed in
step 3.
11. Once the reector / wireway are
attached, install the specied lamp of
the luminaire.
12. Hook the front housing (B) onto the
angle bracket hook (D).
13. Replace the screw(s) removed
in step 1. NOTE: Do not push on
outer lens when mounting the
front housing.

WARRANTY
Kenall high abuse luminaires are designed and built to take exceptional physical punishment. When installed
according to our instructions, Kenall will repair or replace any xture rendered inoperable due to physical abuse
for the product life of the original installation. LED lamps and internal power regulation components are warranted
for a period of ve (5) years from the date of the invoice against defects in materials and workmanship.
All standard xtures manufactured by Kenall are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and materials
for a period of one year from the date of invoice. Additionally, Kenall will replace broken diffusers, refractors, exit
housings, or xtures rendered inoperable by physical abuse, any time during their product life free. A toll-free
hot-line number, 1-800-331-1416 is provided for immediate resolution of any eld problems encountered in
connection with the use of Kenall’s exclusive high abuse lighting products.
Kenall reserves the right to issue credit, repair, or replace the defective merchandise, at its discretion, upon
notication and conrmation by its local representative of the defect. Kenall also reserves the right to examine
the defective product if the defect is questionable and to deny the warranty herein for any product altered,
improperly installed, or installed in applications for which it is not intended.
Kenall assumes no responsibility for labor or freight costs incurred in connection with the installation, removal,
or replacement of products determined to be defective or any other consequential or incidental damages arising
from the use of the product. Kenall’s entire liability on any claim of loss or damage resulting from a defective
product is limited to the replacement price of the product.
The foregoing warranty is exclusive of all other warranties and no other warranties of any kind are expressed
or implied.
