1. Anwendungsbereich
Die KEMPER Rückspülautomatik ist eine vollautomatische, elektronische Rückspülsteuerung für die Filter Modul F
und DMF.
Versorgungsspannung: 230 V / 50 Hz
Betriebsspannung: 6,0 V DC
Schutzart: IP 21
Temperaturbereich: 0 - 40 °C
Batterie: 4 x LR 06-AA
Leistung: max. 8 W

1. Scope of application
The KEMPER automatic backwash is a fully automatic, electronic backwash controller for the filter modules F and DMF.
Supply voltage: 230 V / 50 Hz
Operating voltage: 6.0 V DC
Enclosure protection class: IP 21
Temperature range: 0 - 40 °C
Battery: 4 x LR 06-AA
Power: max. 8 W

2. Montage
1. Den Wandhalter mit der Rückseite gegen die Wand halten.
2. Durch die Befestigungslaschen Bohrlöcher anzeichnen (Abb.1).
3. Löcher bohren und dübeln.
4. Wandhalter an den Befestigungslaschen verschrauben (Abb. 2).
5. Ablauftrichter mit dem Abfluss verbinden (z.B. HT-Rohr DN50).
6. Wasserzuleitung absperren.
7. Am Rückspülfilter schwarze Kunststofftülle des Kugelhahns demontieren.
8. Panzerschlauch montieren. Überwurfmuttern an den Schlauchenden handfest anziehen.
9. Batterien montieren, siehe "Austausch Batterien".

10. Kupplungsscheibe auf der Wandhalterung montieren und einrasten lassen (Abb. 3).
Auf die richtige Position achten!
11. Rückspülautomatik von oben in die Führungsschienen (Abb.4) an der Abdeckung einschieben und
einrasten lassen (Abb. 5).
12. Kugelhahn des Rückspülfilters öffnen.
13. Inbetriebnahme durch Druck der Taste "OK" um den Kugelhahn der Rückspülautomatik zu schließen.
14. Wasserzuleitung öffnen.
15. Manuelle Rückspülung vornehmen, um die Funktion zu überprüfen.
2. Assembly
1. Hold the wall bracket with the rear against the wall.
2. Trace the drill holes through the mounting tabs (Pic. 1).
3. Drill holes and insert dowels.
4. Screw the wall bracket to the mounting tabs (Pic. 2).
5. Connect the outflow funnel to the drain (e.g. HT-Pipe DN 50).
6. Shut off the water feed line.
7. Remove the black plastic grommet on the ball valve from the backwash filter.
8. Mount the braided hose. Tighten the union nuts to the hose ends hand tight.
9. Mount batteries, see "Replacing batteries".
10. Mount the coupling disk to the wall bracket and let it latch in (Pic. 3).
Make sure it is seated in the correct position!
11. Push in the automatic backwash from the top into the guide rails (Pic. 4) on the cover and let it latch in (Pic. 5).
12. Open the backwash filter ball valve.
13. Start-up by pressing the "OK" key to close the backwash automatic ball valve.
14. Open the water feed line.
15. Do a manual backwash to check for proper functioning.

3. Bedienung
Zur Energieeinsparung befindet sich das Display im Normalbetrieb im Stand-By-Modus. Jede Tastenbetätigung schaltet
die Anzeige ein und das Grundmenü erscheint. Aus diesem Zustand sind mittels der vier Tasten alle Funktionen zu
steuern. Folgende Funktionen sind wählbar:
- Manuelle Rückspülung auslösen
- Intervallzeit für Rückspülung
- Zustand anzeigen (Zeit bis Spülbeginn, Anzahl Spülvorgänge, etc.)
Erfolgt für eine Minute kein Tastendruck, so wird die Anzeige wieder abgeschaltet.

Manuelle Rückspülung:
Diese Funktion dient dazu, einen manuellen Rückspülvorgang einzuleiten. Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste. Das
Menü erscheint. Drücken Sie die Taste "Ok", damit die Rückspülung erfolgt.
Die manuelle Rückspülung kann nicht vorgenommen werden, wenn die Batteriespannung zu niedrig ist
(akustisches Signal und Anzeige im Display).
Intervallzeit für Rückspülung:
Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste, damit das Menü angezeigt wird. Wählen Sie nun durch die Pfeiltasten das
entsprechende Menü aus und drücken die Taste "OK". Um die Intervallzeit zu ändern, drücken Sie erneut "OK".
Jetzt kann die Intervallzeit durch die Pfeiltasten zwischen 1 Stunde und 61 Tagen eingestellt werden.
Das gewählte Intervall mit "OK" bestätigen, um dies zu aktivieren. Verlassen Sie das Menü mit der Taste "ESC",
wird die Einstellung nicht geändert. Standardeinstellung ist 61 Tage.
3. Operation
To save energy, during normal operation the display is in the stand-by mode. Every key activation switches the display
on and the basic menu appears. Use the four keys to control all functions from this state. The following functions can
be selected:
- Trigger manual backwash
- Interval time for backwash
- Display state (time until flushing starts, number of flushing sequences, etc.)
If no key is pressed for one minute, the display shuts off again.
Manual backwash:
This function is used to initiate a manual backwash sequence. Press any key. The menu appears. Press the "OK" key to
start backwashing.
Manual backwashing cannot be performed if the battery voltage is too low (acoustic signal and indication in the
display).
Interval time for backwash:
Press any key to display the menu. Select the arrow keys for the corresponding menu and press the "OK" key. To
change the interval time, press "OK" again.
Now the interval time can be set using the arrow keys between 1 hour and 61 days.
Confirm the selected interval with "OK" to activate it. If you exit the menu with the "ESC" key, no settings are
changed. Standard setting is 61 days.
4. Störung
Die Rückspülautomatik gibt bei Störung ein akustisches Signal und meldet die Störung im Display.
Die Störmeldung ist durch Drücken der Taste "OK" zu bestätigen. Es ist nun erforderlich, eine manuelle Rückspülung
durchzuführen. Wiederholt sich die Fehlermeldung trotz der manuellen Rückspülung, ist die Rückspülautomatik
auszutauschen. Der Ausbau hat in umgekehrter Reihenfolge zur Montage zu erfolgen.
4. Malfunctions
During a malfunction, the automatic backwash emits an acoustic signal and the malfunction message appears in the
display. Acknowledge the malfunction message by pressing the "OK" key. A manual backwash now needs to be
performed. If the error message repeats despite the manual backwash, replace the automatic backwash. Uninstall in
the reverse order used for installing.
5. Wartung
Durch den Einsatz moderner Mikroprozessortechnik ist die Rückspülautomatik wartungsfrei zu betreiben. Es sind
lediglich bei Bedarf die Batterien (4 x LR 06-AA) auszutauschen.
Achtung: Keine Akkus verwenden!
Ein akustisches Signal, sowie eine Anzeige im Display informieren über eine zu geringe Kapazität der Batterien.
5. Maintenance
Through the use of modern microprocessor technology, the automatic backwash runs maintenance free. The only
requirement is to replace the batteries (4 x LR 06-AA) as needed.
Caution: Never use rechargeable batteries!
An acoustic signal and a message in the display inform you that the battery capacity is too low.
6. Austausch Batterien
Um die Batterien auszutauschen, muss die Abdeckung geöffnet werden. Nun kann der Batterieblock entnommen
und die Batterien entfernt werden (Abb. 6). Bei der Montage der neuen Batterien auf richtige Polarität (+/-) achten.
Den Batterieblock wieder einsetzen (Abb. 6) und die Abdeckung schließen.

6. Replacing batteries
Open the cover to replace the batteries. Remove the battery block and remove the batteries (Pic. 6). Pay attention to
correct polarity (+/-) when inserting the new batteries.
Put the battery block back in (Pic. 6) and close the cover.
ACHTUNG:
Die Installation darf nur durch einen autorisierten Fachbetrieb vorgenommen
werden. Die Verpackung dient als Transportschutz. Bei erheblichen
Beschädigungen der Verpackung ist die Armatur nicht einzubauen!
ATTENTION:
Only authorised specialist companies are allowed to make the installation.
The packaging is used as shipping protection. If the packaging is severely
damaged, do not install the valve!

7. Demontage Rückspülautomatik
Da die Rückspülautomatik bei der Montage in die Wandhalterung einrastet, muss diese Arretierung zur
Wandhalterung gelöst werden, um die Rückspülatomatik vom Wandhalter zu lösen. Benutzen Sie dazu einen
Schraubendreher (Abb. 7), setzen Sie ihn zwischen Halterung und Rückspülautomatik (Abb. 8) an und hebeln Sie die
Rückspülautomatik nach oben. Bei Wiedermontage auf die richtige Position der Kupplungsscheibe achten (Abb. 9).
7. Dismantling the automatic backwash
As the automatic backwash latches into the wall bracket during assembly, the fixation to the wall bracket must be
loosened to remove the automatic backwash from the wall bracket. To do that, use a screwdriver (Pic. 7). Place it
between the bracket and the automatic backwash (Pic. 8) and lever the automatic backwash upwards. When
reinstalling, make sure the coupling disk is in the correct position (Pic. 9).

8. Ersatzteile / Zubehör
- Werkseitig wird die Rückspülautomatik mit netzunabhängiger Stromversorgung geliefert.
Als Zubehör für die externe Stromversorgung ist der Netzstecker 12100 712 99 002 erhältlich.
8. Spare parts / Accessories
- The automatic backwash is factory supplied with a grid-independent power supply.
The mains plug 12100 712 99 002 is optionally available for external power supply.
