Aufbauanweisung:

Die Platine wird gemäß Stückliste und Bestückungsdruck auf der Platine bestückt. Bitte beachten Sie dabei besonders:

1) Elkos müssen richtig herum in die Platine eingesetzt werden. Der Minuspol am Elko ist mit einem Balken gekennzeichnet.

2) Leuchtdioden müssen richtig herum in die Platine eingesetzt werden. Bitte beachten Sie die Zeichnung in der Beschreibung, wo der “K” und der “A” Anschluß hingehört.

3) IC`s werden grundsätzlich erst ganz zuletzt in die vorher auf die Platine gelötete IC-Fassung gesteckt. Dabei muß darauf geachtet werden, daß die Kennzeichnung auf der einen Seite des IC`s mit dem entsprechenden Aufdruck auf der Platine übereinstimmt! Inbetriebnahme: Das Gerät sollte so in das Auto eingebaut werden, daß der Lautsprecher frei in die Richtung strahlt, wo die Tiere vermutet werden. Ultraschall breitet sich wie Licht aus. Wenn Hindernisse im Bereich des Lautsprechers sind, werfen diese einen “Schatten” und dahinter ist kein Ultraschall mehr. Wenn das Gerät in ein Auto gebaut wird, dann beachten Sie bitte zusätzlich folgendes: Das Gerät soll so eingebaut werden, daß es keiner zu hohen Temperatur (nicht neben den Auspuffkrümmer montieren) und keiner Feuchtigkeit (nicht in den unteren Motorraum-Bereich, wo Spritzwasser eindringt, montieren) ausgesetzt wird. Außerdem muß das Gerät im Motorraum so montiert werden, daß es nur bei einem parkenden Fahrzeug in Betrieb genommen werden kann.

Das Gesetz schreibt bei Geräten, die bei laufendem Motor betrieben werden können, sehr strenge Prüfungen vor. Da muß z.B.

Grund: bei allen auf dem Markt befindlichen Autotypen nachgewiesen werden, ob sich die Marderscheuche mit der übrigen Fahrzeugelektronik verträgt. Diese Nachweise sind nicht gemacht worden, daher darf die Marderscheuche nur bei geparktem Auto in Betrieb genommen werden können. Bei den meisten Fahrzeugen wird die Klemme “15” am Zündschloß bei Fahrtbetrieb auf Plus und bei parkendem Auto auf Minus geschaltet. Wenn das bei Ihrem Fahrzeug auch so ist, dann klemmen Sie den Minuspol der Marderscheuche an Klemme “15” Ihres Zündschlosses. Dann wird das Gerät bei parkendem Fahrzeug automatisch eingeschaltet und bei Fahrbetrieb automatisch abgeschaltet. Den Pluspol der Marderscheuche verbinden Sie mit dem Pluspol der Autobatterie (bitte eine Sicherung 0,1A zwischenschalten, nicht im Bausatz enthalten). Funktionstest: Ausschalten ist dann kurzzeitig ein hoher Ton hörbar, (der Elko C1 entlädt sich beim Abschalten und die Betriebsspannung bricht zusammen, dadurch sinkt auch die Tonfrequenz und eine niedrige Frequenz ist kurzzeitig hörbar.)

Wenn Sie einen Funktionstest machen wollen, dann schalten Sie die Betriebsspannung kurz ein und wieder aus. Beim

Si vous installez l’appareil dans une voiture, il faut observer le suivant de plus: Il faut installer l’appareil de sorte qu’il ne soit pas exposé à hautes températures (ne le montez pas auprès du collecteur d’échappement) et pas à la humidité (ne le montez pas dans la portée du compartiment du moteur inférieur où l’eau peut pénétrer). En outre il faut monter l’appareil dans le compartiment du moteur de façon qu’on puisse seulement le mettre en marche quand la voiture est garée. Raison: La loi prescrit des essais très stricts pour les appareils qu’on peut actionner avec le moteur courant. Il faut p.ex. prouver pour tous les modèles de voiture qui sont commercialisés si l’épouvantail pour martres s’entend avec l’électronique restante du véhicule. Comme ces preuves n’étaient pas faites, on peut seulement utiliser l’épouvantail pour martres dans une voiture qui est garée. Dans la plupart de voitures, la borne de connexion « 15 » à la serrure de contact est mis à positif pendant la marche et mis à négatif quand la voiture est garée. Si cela est aussi applicable à votre véhicule, raccordez le pôle négatif de l’épouvantail de martres à la borne “15” de votre serrure de contact. Ensuite l’appareil est actionné automatiquement quand la voiture est garée et déconnecte automatiquement pendant la marche. Accouplez le pôle positif de l’épouvantail pour martres avec le pôle positif de la batterie de voiture (veuillez intercaler un fusible 0,1A, pas contenu dans le jeu des pièces détachées). Essai de fonctionnement: déconnectez-la de nouveau. Ensuite un haut son est audible pendant un instant à déconnecter (le condensateur électrolytique C1 décharge pendant déconnecter et la tension de service s’annule. Pour cette raison la audiofréquence baisse aussi et une fréquence plus basse est audible pendant un moment).

Käyttöönotto: Laite tulee asentaa autoon niin, että kaiutin säteilee vapaasti suuntaan, jossa oletetaan eläinten liikkuvan. Ultraääni etenee valon tavoin. Jos esteitä on kaiuttimen edessä, muodostavat nämä "varjon", jonka takana ei enää ole ultraääntä. Reason: Law stipulates very strict tests for devices that shal l be operated with the engine running. It has to be proven for example

for any car model available on the market whether the marten repellent is compatible with the remaining vehicle electronics. These

proofs were not made. Therefore the marten repellent may only be operated when the car is parked. In most vehicles, the binder ”15” at the ignition lock is switched to positive when driving and to negative when the car is parked. If this applies to your vehicle, too, connect the negative pole of the marten repellent to binder “15” of your ignition lock. Then the device will be switched on automatically, when the car is parked and will be switched off automatically when driving. Connect the positive pole of the marten repellent with the positive pole of the car battery (please insert a fuse 0.1A, not included in the construction set). Functional testing:If you want make a functional testing, switch the operating voltage shortly on and off again. When switching off, you will hear a short high sound (the elca C1 discharges when switching off and the operating voltage breaks down. Because of that the audio frequency decreases, too, and a lower frequency is audible for a short moment).

Daarbij moet gelet worden op deuitsparing of kenmerk van het ic, dat precies overeen moet komen met de prin tplaat opdruk. Ingebruiksaanwijzing: Het apparaat moet met de luidspreker in de vermoedelijke richting gemonteerd worden. De zeer hoge toon verplaatst zich precies zoals het licht zich verplaatst. Als er hindernissen zijn in het bereik van de luidspreker, dan schetterd dit en werkt de zeer hoge toon niet goed. Als u dit apparaat in de auto monteerd moet u op de volgende punten letten: Het apparaat mag niet te warm worden (niet bij de uitlaat) en mag ook niet te vochtig worden (niet direkt onder de motorkap, zodat spattend water het apparaat vochtig maakt). Uiteraard moet het zo gemonteerd worden, dat als de auto geparkeerd staat, de marterverjager “aan” staat. Reden: voldoen. Als voorbeel d moet voor ieder type en merk auto, testen zijn gedaan, zodat de verjager niet bepaalde auto-electronica vertraagd. Deze testen hebben nooit plaatsgevonden, omdat er vanuit wordt gegaan dat de marter niet in een rijdenede auto komt, maar in een geparkeerde auto. Bij de meeste auto’s wordt klem “15” van het contactschakelaar aan de plus gemonteerd en bij geparkeerd naar de min geschakeld. Als dit bij uw auto ook zo is, dan sluit u de verjager aan klem “15” van het slotschakelaar. Dan wor dt de verjager automatisch aan gezet , zo snel u de auto uitschakeld (parkeerstand). De plus draa d van de verjager sluit u aan op de pluspool van de accu (wel een zekering van 0,1A tussen plaatsen, zit er niet standaard bij). Funktie test: (de elco C1 ontlaad zich bij het uitschakelen, en de spanning zakt langzaam, alsmede de toon fre quentie die zakt is korte tijd nog te horen).

Das Bestücken + Löten:

Die Bauelemente werden gemäß dem Bestückungsdruck auf die Platine gesteckt. Je nach Rasterabstand der Platinenbohrungen müssen die Bauteile "liegend" oder "stehend" montiert werden. Bitte achten Sie beim Biegen der Anschlußdrähte unbedingt darauf, daß diese nicht direkt am Bauelement gebogen werden! Die Bauteile können dann Schaden erleiden! Halten Sie die Drähte mit einer Spitzzange un d biegen Sie diese direkt an der Zange, damit keine Biegekräfte in das Innere des Bauteils übertragen werden! Es darf nur mit einem modernen Elektronik-Lötkolben (15...30 Watt) mit feiner Spitze und kolophoniumhaltigem Elektroniklötzinn auf der Platine gelötet werden! Keine säurehaltigen Flußmittel verwenden! Bevor Lötzinn zugeführt wird, muß zunächst die Lötstelle mit der Lötkolbenspitze aufgeheizt werden. Da bei wird die Spitze so mit leichtem Druck an die Lötstelle geh alten, daß das Lötauge auf der Platine und der Anschlußdraht des Bauteils gleichzeitig aufgeheizt werden. Nach ca. 1...2 Sekunden kann dann, ohne den Lötkolben von der Lötstelle zwischenzeitlich zu entfernen, das Lötzinn zugeführt werden. Das Lötzinn muß sauber um den Draht des Bauelements herumfließen und den Draht ohne Kraterbildung sauber umschließen. Erst dann kann das Lötzinn und dann der Lötkolben entfernt werden. Außerdem muß darauf geachtet werden, daß keine "Lötzinnbrücken" zu benachbarten Kupferbahnen oder Lötaugen gemacht werden, wenn diese nicht ohnehin leitend mit der Lötstelle verbunden sind. Die gesamte Lötung einer Lötstelle sollte die Zeit von max. 5 Sekun den nicht überschreiten, weil sonst die Bauelemente zerstört werden können. Die häufigsten Fehler beim Löten sind: "kalte Lötstellen" und "Kurzschlüsse” durch Zinnbrücken oder nicht abgeschnittene Drahtenden, wenn diese eine benachbarte Lötstelle berühren. Die Lötspitze muß immer sauber und frei von Zunder und Oxyd sein. Wenn das nicht mit einfachem Abwischen mit einem Lappen zu entfernen ist, fei len Sie die Spitze neu an und verzinnen diese sofort neu. Das sollte aber nur bei einfachen Kupferspitzen gemacht werden. Die modernen Dauerlötspitzen brauchen nur mit einem feuchten Lappen abge wischt werden. Assembly + Soldering: The components have to be inserted into the board according to the assembly print. Depending on the basic grid distance of the borings on

the board the components have to be mounted in horizontal or vertical position. When bending the leads of the components please

pay attention that these will not be bent directly at the component! The components might be damaged in such a case! Hold the wires

with pointed pliers and bend them directly at the pliers so that no lateral powers are transmitted into the interior of the component! Soldering on the board may only be done with a modern electronic soldering copper (15...30 Watt) with a fine point and colophoniumcontaining electronic soldering tin! Do not use acidic flux! Before supplying the soldering tin, at first h eat the soldering joint with the point of the soldering copper. Press the point slightly against the soldering joint so that the land for soldering on the board and the lead of the component are heate d simultaneously. After appro x. 1...2 seconds you may add the soldering tin without removing the soldering copper fro m the soldering joint in the meantime. The soldering tin must lead cleanly around the wire of the component and has to surround the wire cleanly without forming craters. Only then you may remove the soldering tin and after that the soldering iron. Furth ermore attention must be paid that no "soldering tin bridges" are made to the adjoining copper tracks and lands for soldering if these are not electrically connected with the soldering joint anyway. The whole soldering should not exceed 5 seconds at maximum, as otherwise the components may be destroyed. The most frequent mistakes during soldering are: "cold soldering joints" and "short circuits” due to tin bridges or end of wires which were not cut off if these get into touch with an adjoining soldering joint. The soldering point must always be clean and free fr om scale and oxide. If this cannot be removed by simply wiping with a cloth, file the point once again and tin-plate it immediately again. However, this shoul d only be done with simple copper points. The modern permanent soldering points merely ha ve to be wiped with a humid cloth.

Zum Löten der Bausätze eignet sich am besten ein handelsüblicher 15...30WLötkolben und 60%iges Lötzinn. Es darf nie über die Ränder des Lötfeldes hinweggelötet werden!

1) Die Leiterbahn und das Drahtende des Bauelements werden gleichzeitig aufgeheizt.

2) Das Lötzinn wird dann an der Lötstelle (nicht am Kolben!) geschmolzen. Das Lötzinn gleichmäßig um die Lötstelle zerfließen lassen.

3) Den überstehenden Draht abschneiden. So muß die fertige Lötstelle aussehen!

1) The conducting line and the wire le ad of the kit hav e to be heated up at the same time.

2) The solder tin should then be melted at the soldering spot (not at the soldering iron!). The solder tin should flow evenly round the soldering spot.

3) Now, cut off the sticking out wire. That’s how the finished soldering spot should look like!
