YOUR KIT INCLUDES:

FIELD REPLACEMENT OF MG HOTPLATE

HEATING ELEMENTS-PART# 059920

1. Shut off all power to the MG Hotplate at the

service breaker panel BEFORE performing
any service work.

2. Disconnect the MG Hotplate from all
electrical power.

3. Make sure that heating elements are cool
before handling.

4. To replace a heating element, lift the element
from its trim ring and drip pan - pull up and
away from the slot in the drip pan to expose
the wire connections.

5. Remove the existing element.

6. For each new heating element, attach GRN

wire to the "Ground" connection on the
heating element spacer flange.

7. Attach BLK (or RED) wire and one end of
BLK (or RED) jumper wire to Terminal 2.

8. Attach other end of BLK (or RED)
jumper wire to Terminal 1.

9. Attach WHT wire to Terminal 3.

10. Check all connections to be tight.

11. Re-insert the new heating element into the

trim ring and drip pan. Make sure heating
element, trim ring, and drip pan are aligned
and are seated properly.

12. Re-connect power and confirm heating
elements are functioning properly.
