1 Overview

1.1 Introduction

This manual covers the ESUL8P-PC2 series. KBC Networks’ ESUL8P-PC2 products are high performance, unmanaged, ten port industrial PoE Ethernet switches designed for use in a wide range of operating temperatures in nonenvironmentally conditioned, industrial applications. The units have redundant power supply terminals and an alarm output. All copper ports are automatically configured and the plug-and-play design provides ease and speed of installation.

1.1.1 ESUL8P-PC2

The ESUL8P-PC2 provides connectivity for up to eight, 10/100 RJ45 twisted pair copper ports which are capable of simultaneously supplying IEEE802.3af PoE and two gigabit combo ports. Each of the eight, 10/100 RJ45 ports supports a self-adaptive function allowing it to be configured to 10Base-T or 100Base-TX, full or half duplex operation mode. The two combo ports offer a 10/100/1000 RJ45 interface or a 100/1000 SFP module slot. It is available as either DIN rail or wall-mount configurations.
