SET-UP
• Place the All Season Comfort™Fan & Heater on a firm, level, open surface free from obstructions and at
least 3 ft. (0.9m) away from any combustible materials. DO NOT use on an unstable surface such as bedding or deep carpeting. Be sure the heater is not in a position where it may be tripped over by small children or pets.
• With the product OFF (both the heater and fan on/off buttons will be elevated), plug into a polarized
120V wall outlet.
• DO NOT FORCE THE POLARIZED PLUG INTO THE OUTLET; it will only fit one way.
• Do not use with any converters or timers.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TO OPERATE THE HEATER MODE:

• Press the red heater On/Off button ( ) on the
top, next to the thermostat control, to turn the heater mode on.
• The power light will illuminate on the front of
the product.
• Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to turn
up the heat.

• When the room reaches a comfortable temperature, slowly turn the thermostat control counter-
clockwise until the heater goes off. This is the point at which the thermostat setting equals the room temperature. At this setting, the thermostat will automatically turn the heater on and off to maintain this selected temperature.
• Press the red On/Off heater button to turn off and unplug the heater
when you are finished using it.
NOTE: THIS PRODUCT IS EQUIPPED WITH A SAFEGUARD™ALERT HEAT INDICATOR BADGE (FIG. 2). WHEN THE SAFEGUARD
ALERT BADGE LOCATED ON THE GRILL CHANGES FROM BLACK TO RED THE GRILL IS HOT TO THE TOUCH. DO NOT TOUCH THE GRILL UNTIL THE UNIT HAS BEEN TURNED OFF AND THE SAFEGUARD

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (CONT’D)
TO OPERATE THE FAN MODE:
• Press the blue fan On/Off button ( ) on the top to turn the fan mode on. (The power light will not
illuminate on the front of the product in the fan mode).
• To operate your Turbo Air Circulator Fan, turn the fan control knob to the desired fan speed: HIGH (
MEDIUM (
II) or LOW (I).
• Press the blue fan On/Off button ( ) to turn off and unplug the fan when you are finished using it.
USING THE OSCILLATION FEATURE:
Your HZ-0300 All Season Comfort™Fan & Heater is equipped with an oscillation option. If you wish to use this feature, press the oscillation button ( ) and your unit will oscillate side to side. Push the oscillation button ( ) again to turn the oscillating feature off.
SAFETY FEATURES
The heater function is equipped with several devices and features for added protection.
• A high temperature safety device (Hi Limit) prevents overheating of the heater.
• A back-up safety thermal fuse.
• A tip over switch so if the product were to tip over, and the air flow was blocked, the heater function
would automatically turn off.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If your heater shuts off unexpectedly, safety features may have been activated to prevent overheating. If this happens:
• Be sure the power cord is plugged into a working electrical outlet.
• Check that the thermostat is not set too low. Turn the thermostat up until the heater starts.
• Check for any obstructions. If you find one, turn the heater OFF and unplug it. Wait at least 10 minutes
to allow the heater to cool completely before removing any obstruction. When done, plug in the heater and follow the OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
We recommend that the All Season Comfort™Fan & Heater be cleaned at least once a month.
• Turn the heater and/or fan mode off and unplug the unit before cleaning.
• Use only a dry cloth to clean the external surfaces of the product.
DO NOT USE WATER, WAX, POLISH, OR ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION.
• The fan grille is removable for cleaning. Remove the 3 screws with a phillips head screwdriver and use
only a dry cloth to clean the grill. Be sure the fan grille is in place with the screws tightly fastened before operating the fan.
• DO NOT immerse the unit in wa
ter and never allow water to drip into the motor housing.
• When not in use, pack the unit with the cord bundled in its original container and store in a cool, dry place.
