Your Cochlear

Kanso™ Sound Processor
(model number: CP950) works with your
Cochlear implant to transfer sound to
your ear.

UNLOCKED
LOCKED
Lock and unlock battery cover
To lock, turn the screw
clockwise until it is horizontal.
To unlock, turn
anticlockwise until
it is vertical.

Change batteries
POWER
1. Turn the lock screw
anticlockwise to
unlock the battery
cover (clockwise to
lock).
2. Slide to open.
Use your fingers on
the sides to pull off
the cover.

3. Insert two new p675
high power zinc air
disposable batteries,
flat side facing up.
4. Replace battery cover.
Turn lock screw
clockwise to lock.

CAUTIONS
• Take care to position your sound processor correctly. This is
important to get the best performance, and so it does not
fall off your implant.
• If you have two implants, you must use the correct sound
processor for each implant.
WEAR

6 KANSO™ SOUND PROCESSOR
Attach a SoftWear pad
If you experience discomfort, attach an adhesive
Cochlear SoftWear™ pad to back of processor.

7QUICK GUIDE
Pinch the loop, and pass it through an attachment
hole from front to back, pass the clip through the
loop, and pull tight.
Secure your processor
You can attach a Nucleus® Safety Line to reduce
the risk of losing your processor.

turn on.
To turn off, press
and hold button
until the light is a
steady orange.
NOTE
Sound processor turns off automatically when it has been off
your implant for two minutes.

Change program
Press button to
change program.
Number of beeps or
green flashes (if set
up by your clinician)
indicates the program
number.

Stream audio
Press and hold button
(2 seconds) to stream
audio sources.
Press and release again to
cycle to next audio source.
Blue: streaming audio.
Tap button to stop
streaming.

cycle through the available audio sources in order:
