LIMITED WARRANTY
Kanguru Solutions guarantees that every Kanguru Zipper Mini will be free from defects in
workmanship and materials for 1 year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not apply if,
in the judgment of Kanguru Solutions, the product fails due to damage from handling, accident,
abuse, misuse, or if it has been used in a manner not conforming to the product’s instructions,
has been modified in anyway, or the warranty labels have been removed. If the product proves
defective during this warranty period, call Kanguru Solutions Technical Support in order to obtain
a RMA required for service. When returning a product, mark the RMA number clearly on the
outside of the package, and include a copy of your original proof of purchase.
In no event shall Kanguru Solutions’ liability exceed the price paid for the product from direct,
indirect, special, incidental, or consequential software, or its documentation. Kanguru Solutions
offers no refunds for its products after 30 days of purchase. Kanguru Solutions makes no
warranty or representation, expressed, implied, or statutory, with respect to its products or the
contents or use of this documentation and all accompanying software, and specifically disclaims

Kanguru Zipper Mini
1. Introduction
The Kanguru Zipper Mini offers 1 GB or 2.2GB of storage at a fraction of the cost
of flash and is only slightly bigger than a USB Flash Drive. Measuring at a length
of 1.9 inches and a half-inch high, the Kanguru Zipper Mibi offers a USB2.0
swivel plug that unfolds from the side of the drive and plugs directly into a USB
port for instant plug and play access. This high speed, high quality USB2.0 Hard
Drive excels in mobilizing, sharing data and is extremely durable. The Kanguru
Zipper Mini is ultra compact, fitting easily in the palm of your hand! Drag and
drop or save data directly to the drive! These Mini Hard Drives work with
Windows and Macintosh, most without any device drivers! Store and transport
your work files, MP3’s, pictures, e-mail, and more.

2. Driver Installation
Depending on your operating system, you may need to install drivers before
using your KanguruZipper Mini. Drivers are required for Win98/98SE. All other
supported operating systems do not require the installation of drivers.
Windows 98/98SE
1. Insert the Kanguru Drivers and Manuals mini CD included with this device.
2. The disc will auto run and launch the driver installation wizard. If the disc
does not auto run, double click on My Computer then double click on your
CD or DVD drive and then double click on Win98Driver1.0.exe to launch
the installation wizard.
3. Follow the onscreen to wizard to complete the installation.
4. When the installation has completed, insert the KanguruZipper Mini into
an available USB port. A found new hardware wizard will recognize the
device and locate the drivers automatically. You can now access the drive
in My Computer.
Windows 2000/ME/XP and Mac OS 9.x and above
There is no need to install any drivers for these operating systems. To begin
using the drive, follow these steps:
1. If your computer is not turned on, please do so at this time and wait for
your operating system to load.
2. Plug in the Zipper Mini into an available USB port on your computer.
3. The operating system will detect the drive and install the necessary drivers
automatically. To make sure the drive is recognized by your system, check
in “My Computer” to find a new “Local Disk” drive as shown below. For
Macintosh users, the Zipper Mini will appear as a new icon on your
desktop.

Please Note: The assigned drive letter may vary from computer to
computer.
4. Once the computer has detected the Zipper Mini, you can begin
transferring data to the drive.
Disconnecting the Drive:
DO NOT remove the drive during data transfer. If the LED is flashing, then the
drive is still transferring data.
Windows ME/2000/XP users: Click on the green Remove Hardware icon on
the right side of the taskbar and select the Kanguru Zipper Mini to safely remove
the drive.
NOTE: If you do not properly remove the drive from your system, then you may
have to reboot your computer in order for the drive to be recognized again.
Windows 98SE users: Windows 98SE does not have a safe hardware removal
utility, so you can simply unplug the drive from the USB port to remove it from the
operating system.
Macintosh users: To safely remove the drive from your system, drag the drive’s
icon to the trash. After dragging it to the trash, the drive will now be safe to
remove.

3. Warranty
Kanguru Solutions guarantees that every Kanguru Zipper Mini will be free from
