Your Kambrook Snugasabug Fan Heater has been designed and manufactured to high standards of engineering.With proper use and care, you can expect to receive many years of trouble free service. Please read these instructions carefully.
GENERAL CARE AND SAFETY GUIDE
Before using your fan heater, please read the following instructions carefully and retain for future reference.
Important safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons, including the following:
The heater is hot and consists of sparking parts inside. Do not use in areas where petrol, paints, aerosols or other flammable substances are used or stored.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Avoid touching heater body while it is
switched on as some parts of the heater are very hot.When moving the heater, switch off the unit and unplug at the power outlet and hold the heater by lifting it with the handle provided at the back of the unit.
Keep combustible materials such as drapes and other furnishings at least 1.7 metres from the front,sides and rear of the heater. Do not use the heater to dry your laundry.
WARNING:Do not cover the heater in order to avoid overheating whilst it is operating.
Do not use outdoors. This heater is not intended for commercial
use, such as construction sites. Do not locate the heater immediately
below a socket outlet when in use. Do not locate the heater with a
programmer, timer or any other device that switches the heater on automatically. Fire risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.This heater is not intended for use in wet or moist locations. Do not use this heater in the immediate sur
roundings of a bath, a shower, a laundry area or a swimming pool. Do not immerse or allow liquids to be spilt on the heater.
Switch off the unit and then unplug from the power outlet.Allow the heater to cool down before cleaning or storing.
Use this heater only as described in this instruction manual.Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury and voids all warranties.
Do not allow materials that have been in contact with oil, petroleum based products or drying fluids to come in contact with the heater.
Do not operate the heater with the cord wound around any part of the heater, or in contact with heated surfaces of the heater.
