This unit can be mounted on any wall in any room of the home. When selecting a location, decide upon a position that takes advantage of the maximum volume of air.
CAUTION: Before mounting the heater to the wall please ensure that all three attachment points are secure in either timber or concrete. Do NOT secure directly into plaster. Please contact a tradesman if you are unsure. Please see the Fig. 1 which illustrates the points of contact. Ensure that the heater is at least 500mm from the floor and corners of the wall.
Before First Use
Remove your heater from its carton and associated protective wrapping. Unwind the cord to its full length and remove any protective cardboard or foam that may have been used to minimize transportation damage.
How to Operate
The KPH200 can be either wall mounted or used on the floor. Relevant brackets and feet come with the unit. For wall mounting operation, follow instructions under Wall Mounting Instructions.
Floor Use Instructions
1. Place the heater on a firm,
level surface in a stable upright position and secure the supplied feet with the screws provided.
2. Visually inspect the air inlet and
outlets to ensure no foreign material is blocking these areas.
Securing the Heater Feet
• The heater has two plastic stands or ‘feet’ that come with a set of screws that you will need to secure at the base of the product. Locate the screws that are positioned at the base of the unit, approximately 5cm from the far left and right sides of the heating unit. Unscrew them, but leave the centre screw in place.

1. Locate the three brackets at the back of the heater. There are two brackets at the left and right hand bottom corners, and one situated at the top of the heater in the centre.
2. As a general safety guide select a suitable location to wall mount the heater, approximately 500mm from any furniture either side of the unit and 500mm from any furniture placed in front of the heater. The heater must be mounted horizontally as per Fig. 1.
3. When selecting a location, make sure the base of the heater is at least 500mm from the floor and the top of the heater is at least
1.5m from the ceiling to ensure there is adequate air flow into the air inlet.
4. Measure out and mark the screw locations. Once you are confident that the screw locations are correct, drill suitable size holes.
5. Take care with inserting the screws into the holes you have made, and then mount the heater onto the screws.
6. Once the heater is mounted on to the wall, screw in the locking screw (the shortest screw) to prevent the heater from being accidentally dislodged from the mounting bracket.
7. Visually inspect the air inlet and outlet to ensure no foreign material is blocking these areas.
CAUTION: Do not mount the heater below curtains and/or other flammable items.
CAUTION: If the heater is intended to be used in a bathroom, the heater is to be installed so that switches and other controls cannot be touched by a person in the bath or shower.

2. There are two ON/OFF switches located at the top left hand side of the rear of the heating unit, with 4 settings.
- OFF
- Low (800W)
- Medium (1200W)
- High (2000W)
When the heater is not in
operation, both switches will be in the OFF position.
3. To activate the LOW heat setting, press the switch marked 800W from OFF to ON.
4. To activate the MEDIUM heat, setting, press the switch marked 1200W from OFF to ON.
5. To activate the HIGH heat setting, press both the 800W & 1200W switches from OFF to ON.
6. To turn the heater completely off, return both of the OFF/ON switches to the OFF position.
ThermoGuard Overheating Safety Device
Your heater is fitted with a safety device that switches off the heater in the event of overheating. Should this heater stop working, turn off the heater and inspect the air inlet and outlet for blockages.
