Welcome to Kambrook and your new Jaguar Dust Hunter 2 Hand Vac. At Kambrook we believe that the safe performance of our products is the first priority in any consumer product so that you, our valued customer, can confidently use and trust our products.We ask that any electrical appliance that you use be operated in a sensible fashion with due care and attention placed on the following important operating instructions:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY BEFORE ACTIVATING THE APPLIANCE AND RETAIN THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
This appliance is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.
The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision.
Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Do not use vacuum without dust cup and filter in place.The dust cup and filter should be cleaned immediately after picking up any perishable food items.
Use only Kambrook Jaguar Dust Hunter 2 Hand Vac accessories and filters.
Do not vacuum anything that is hot, burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
Avoid picking up hard, sharp objects with the hand vac as they may damage the unit and the filters.
Do not use to pick up toxic substances, flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or operate in the presence of explosive or flammable fumes.
DO NOT IMMERSE the hand vac or cord in water or any other liquid.
Do not unplug the vacuum by pulling on the cord. Never carry the vacuum by the cord or yank to disconnect from the outlet; instead, switch off from the power outlet and then unplug the cord by holding the plug and disconnecting. Do not pull cord around sharp edges or corners.
Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of the table or counter or touch hot surfaces.The vacuum should be placed or mounted away from sinks or hot surfaces.
Turn off all controls before unplugging. Always turn power outlet ‘Off’ and unplug
vacuum when it is not in use and/or before cleaning.
The use of an extension cord is not recommended. Only plug the vacuum into a standard power outlet (230/240V).
The installation of a residual current device (safety switch) is recommended to provide additional safety protection when using electrical appliances. It is advisable that a safety switch with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA be installed in the electrical circuit supplying the appliance. See your electrician for professional advice.
Never handle the plug or vacuum with wet hands.
Do not put any object into any openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, or anything that may reduce airflow.
Do not operate with a damaged cord or after the appliance has malfunctioned or been damaged in any manner. Immediately cease use of the appliance and return the entire unit to the nearest authorised Kambrook Service Centre for examination, adjustment or repair.
Any maintenance other than cleaning should be performed at an authorised Kambrook Service Centre.
WARNING: Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces
WARNING:The suction hole must be open, and free from obstructions at all times. Should a
blockage occur, immediately switch off vacuum and ensure that you clear the blocked substance before you attempt to resume vacuuming. Failure to do so may result in the motor overheating and causing damage to the unit.

USING YOUR KAMBROOK DUST HUNTER 2 HAND VAC
Remove all packaging materials and any promotional labels or stickers from your Kambrook Jaguar Dust Hunter 2. Ensure you have removed all of the accessories before discarding the packaging.
Ensure that the dust bag/filter is correctly fitted.
Locate either the crush proof hose or brush and push the connection point into the suction hole/hose inlet connection at the front of the unit until a “click” sound is heard.The brush attachments can be used alone or can connect to the end of the crush proof hose.
To use the Hand Vacuum with the shoulder strap, attach it to the unit as shown below.
Plug into a 230/240v power point and switch the power on.
To commence vacuuming, press down on the on/off switch located on top of the unit to switch on ( I )
Use your vacuum to pick up dirt, dust, food crumbs, etc from counters, carpet, bare floors, rugs, automobile interiors, upholstered furniture, etc.
When vacuuming is complete, press the on/off switch to switch off ( O ).Turn the power off at the outlet and then remove the power cord from the power outlet (when removing plug from the power outlet grasp the plug, not the cord).
ALWAYS ENSURE THAT THE DUST BAG/FILTER IS CORRECTLY FITTED. NEVER OPERATE WITHOUT THE DUST BAG/FILTER IN PLACE.
Cleaning Tools
Your Kambrook Jaguar Dust Hunter 2 includes the following cleaning tools that will make your cleaning tasks easier.
Crevice brush – Used for reaching hard to clean places such as the crevice of car seats, corners and skirting boards
Dust Brush – Used for vacuuming delicate surfaces and areas such as shelves, venetian blinds and furniture.
Turn off the vacuum cleaner when changing any attachments
Cleaning Dust Cup & Dust Bag/Filters
Dirt and debris picked up by your vacuum will collect in the dust cup.The dust cup should be changed when full.
To empty the Dust Cup, follow these steps.
Always switch the unit off, then switch off at the power outlet and unplug the unit prior to emptying the dust cup or replacing the dust bag/filter.
To open the dust bag compartment, press the ‘Filter Release’ button located on the side of the unit, the cover will then open
Pull out the dust bag/filter, by grasping the side of the filter and pulling out.
Empty the dust from the dust cup.
The dust bag/filter must be cleaned from time to time to remove the fine dust particles that have been collected.This can be done by either shaking it or for a more thorough clean, rinsing in cold water.
You may choose to rinse the dust cup and/or dust bag/filter in cold water. Ensure dust bag has dried before replacing it back into the dust cup.
NOTE! Do not wash parts in the dishwasher. Use only mild soap and avoid detergents, cleaners or solvents that may damage the plastic.
Place the dust bag/filter carefully into the dust cup.
Attach the dust cup back onto the Hand Vacuum, by pressing the filter release button and snapping the dust cup back into place.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE
WITHOUT A DUST BAG IN PLACE
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE HAND VAC OR CORD IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID. THE DUST BAG/FILTER IS THE ONLY COMPONENT THAT CAN BE RINSED CLEAN.

Kambrook 12 Month Replacement Warranty
KAMBROOK warrants the purchaser against defects in workmanship and material, for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase (3 months commercial use).
Guarantee and purchase receipt for this product are to be retained as proof of purchase and must be presented if making a claim under the terms of the KAMBROOK guarantee.
KAMBROOK reserves the right to replace or repair the appliance within the warranty period.
Warranty does not apply to any defect, deterioration, loss, injury or damage occasioned by, or as a result of the misuse or abuse, negligent handling or if the product has not been used in accordance with the instructions.The guarantee excludes breakages and consumable items such as kneading blades.
This warranty is void if there is evidence of the product being tampered with by unauthorised persons.
If the product includes one or a number of accessories only the defective accessory or product will be replaced.
In the event of KAMBROOK choosing to replace the appliance, the guarantee will expire at the original date, ie. 12 months from the original purchase date.
In Australia, this KAMBROOK Guarantee is additional to the conditions and guarantees which are mandatory as implied by the Trade Practices Act 1974 and State and Territory legislation.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Always switch unit off, then switch off at the power outlet and then unplug the unit prior to cleaning.
To clean the outside of the unit, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Never use an abrasive cleaner.
Thoroughly cleaning the dust cup and dust bag/filter will improve performance of the unit.
