SETTING UP
You will find loads of useful tips and tricks about setting up and using
your equipment online at www.kam.co.uk/tuition.
1. Ensure that the Mains Power [1] is switched off and the Main Volume
[2] control is set at zero.
2. Use the supplied speaker cable to connect your speakers to the
KKA100 rear panel Speaker Terminals [3]. Follow the colour coding and
connect red to red and black to black.
3. Connect the audio out from your CD, DVD, Tape player or Mixer to the
Inputs [4] of the KKA100. You can connect any line level audio equipment,
but you can’t connect a turntable directly to the KKA100.
4. Turn on the Mains Power [1].
5. Select the music source you wish to listen to by turning the Input
Selector control [5].
6. Start your music playing.
7. Turn up the Main Volume control. Providing you have made all the
correct connections and used good cables your should hear music.
8. Use the Balance control [6] to adjust the proportion of sound distributed
to each speaker.
9. Use the Treble and Bass controls [7] to adjust the sound. Turning clockwise will increase the amount of Bass or Treble and turning anti-clockwise
will decrease it.

18. Slowly turn up the Echo FX control until you set a pleasant balance
between the ‘wet’ sound of the Echo and the ‘dry’ sound of the microphone.
