IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
After removing the wine cooler from the package, make sure it is in good condition. In case of doubt, do not use it and contact the customer service centre.

Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface in order to avoid its fall. Ensure that there is at least a 10cm / 4 in. clearance at the sides; and 8cm / 3 in. clearance at the back of the cooler, in order to allow adequate ventilation. Kitchen units (cupboards) should be at least 5cm / 2 in. away from the appliance in order to assure adequate ventilation.

Plug the appliance directly into the power outlet; do not use any extension cord or multiple power sockets.
This cooler is designed to store wine bottles, however, if placing food inside; ensure that there is sufficient airflow between items.
Do not place hot beverages into the appliance but let them cool down to room temperature before.
Close the cooler door immediately after putting in any items so the inside temperature will not rise dramatically.
When positioned or if moving the appliance, ensure that it is not set horizontally or declined less than 45° or turned upside down.

3-PRONG PLUG INSTRUCTIONS
For your personal safety, this appliance must be grounded. This appliance is equipped with a power supply cord having a 3-prong grounding plug. To minimize possible shock hazard, the cord must be plugged into a mating 3-prong, grounding type, wall receptacle, grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA 70 latest edition and all local codes and ordinances. If a mating wall receptacle is not available, it is the personal responsibility and obligation of the customer to have a properly grounded, 3-prong, wall receptacle installed by a qualified electrician.

NOTE: this appliance is not a standard refrigerator. The maximum cooling capacity is around 30 degrees F (15 degrees C) below the ambient temperature.
POSITIONING THE APPLIANCE
For best results, use the height-adjustable foot to level the wine cooler. This will allow it to stand perfectly horizontal, which allows for stability.
The height-adjustable foot is located under the lower hinge. It is smaller than the feet placed on the other 3 corners of the appliance. It is positioned in a threaded insert on the hinge, marked by an arrow in the picture below. Turn the foot clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust its height and to ensure the perfect horizontality of the unit.

CAUTION: The wine cooler should not be built-in. Standalone use only!
OPERATION
CAUTION: Before connecting the appliance to electrical power supply, leave it to stand for about 4 hours, which will reduce the possibility of malfunctions in the cooling system due to transport handling.
Before use, clean the appliance thoroughly; especially in the interior (See Cleaning and Maintenance).
Rearrange the shelves in the cavity properly if they are not correctly placed.
Make sure that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
Position the appliance in a cool place, on a stable surface near a wall outlet, with sufficient clearance on all sides to allow proper ventilation. Do not attempt to install the appliance into a built-in unit!
Plug in the appliance to an earthed wall outlet.
Once connected to a power source, the fans will start turning
and the wine cooler will start cooling. The cooler will need up to one and a half hours to reach 15°C/ 60°F and up to 4 hours to reach the temperature set up as the factory standard.
NOTE: The inside temperature of the thermoelectric wine cooler depends on the room temperature. To reach the minimum

temperatures indicated below, it should be located in a room whose temperature is maximum 75°F / 25ºC.
Temperature control and display
The upper zone of the appliance is for storage of white wine with temperature from 45°F to 54°F (7°C to 12°C) The lower zone is for storage of red wine with temperature range from 54°F to 64°F (12°C to 18°C). The display usually shows the average temperature of the appliance at that moment.
Manual temperature setting
The temperature is factory preset when the cellar is off the assembling line. If you want to change the temperature in the cabinet, please select the right zone and change accordingly.
The temperature of the wine cooler can be set by pressing the temperature “up” and temperature “down” buttons as follows:
1) By pressing the button C/F on the control panel, select if you want to display the temperature in Fahrenheit (F) or Celsius (C). The temperatures in Fahrenheit are always the highest value.
2) There are four buttons on the panel: on the left, push “UP” to increase the temperature or push “DOWN” to decrease the temperature in upper zone. On the right, push “UP” to increase the temperature or push “DOWN” to decrease the temperature in lower zone.
3) When the power switch is connected, cooling system starts to work. The temperature is set on certain temperature level, which means that when the inner temperature reaches the set point, the appliance will stop cooling, so that the temperature in the cabinet rises gradually.
4) When the inside temperature rises above the set point, cooling will resume until reaching this set point, the cellar enters into cooling cycles.

You can turn the interior light ON or OFF by pressing the lights switch on the control panel.
Note:
This wine cooler needs to be placed on a flat floor, with 10cm
/4in. space on each side; and 8cm / 3 in. space at the backside. This appliance is not designed to be built-in.
Make sure to place the wine cooler perfectly level for best
function.
Avoid placing in direct sunshine or near a heating source, or in
an unventilated area.
Do not place heavy items on top of the appliance
CLEANING
Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet before cleaning it.
Clean the exterior of the appliance with water and a mild
household detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners as they can damage the finish of the appliance.
Clean the interior of the appliance with lukewarm water and a bit of vinegar, or baking soda.
If needed, remove the shelves in the cavity by sliding them out; clean them with water and a mild liquid detergent. Do not put any parts in the dishwasher.
Never use metal utensils or harsh, abrasive products to clean the appliance.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
