IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
After removing the wine cooler from the package, make sure it is
in good condition. In case of doubt, do not use it and contact an

should be at least 5cm / 2in. away from the appliance in order to

3-PRONG PLUG INSTRUCTIONS
For your personal safety, this appliance must be grounded. This
appliance is equipped with a power supply cord having a 3-prong
grounding plug. To minimize possible shock hazard, the cord must be
plugged into a mating 3-prong, grounding type, wall receptacle,
grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code
ANSI/NFPA 70 latest edition and all local codes and ordinances. If a
mating wall receptacle is not available, it is the personal
responsibility and obligation of the customer to have a properly
grounded, 3-prong, wall receptacle installed by a qualified
electrician.

OPERATION
CAUTION: Before connecting the appliance to electrical power
supply, leave it to stand for about 4 hours, which will reduce the
possibility of malfunctions in the cooling system due to transport
handling.

• The fans start turning and the wine cellar starts cooling. The cooler
might need 1 hour ½ to reach the temperature of 15°C/ 60°F and
up to 4 hours to reach the temperature set up at the factory.
NOTE: The inside temperature of the thermoelectric wine cooler
depends on the room temperature. To reach the minimum
temperatures indicated below, it should be located in a room whose
temperature is maximum 75°F / 25ºC.
Temperature control and display
The temperature range of the wine cooler is intended for 52°F to 64°F
(11°C to 18°C). The lower temperatures are recommended for white
wine, the upper temperature for the red wine.
The display usually shows the average temperature of the appliance
at that moment.
Manual temperature setting
The temperature is factory preset when the cellar is off the
assembling line. If you want to change the temperature in the
cabinet, please follow the steps below and change accordingly.
The temperature of the wine cooler can be set by pressing the
temperature “up” and temperature “down” buttons as follows:
1) By pressing the button 11 and 12 together (“UP” and “DOWN”)
and holding for 3 seconds - C/F on the control panel - you can
select if you want to display the temperature in Fahrenheit (F) or
Celsius (C). The temperatures in Fahrenheit are always the highest
value.
2) There are 2 buttons on the panel: push “UP” (11) to increase the
temperature or push “DOWN” (12) to decrease the temperature
in the wine cellar.
3) When the power switch is pressed, cooling system starts to work.
The temperature is set on certain temperature level, which means
that when the inner temperature reaches the set point, the
appliance will stop cooling, so that the temperature in the
cabinet rises gradually.
4) When the inside temperature rises above the set point, cooling
will resume until reaching this set point, the cellar enters into
cooling cycles.

You can turn the interior light ON or OFF by pressing the light switch
(10) on the control panel.
Note:
• This wine cooler needs to be placed on a flat floor, with 2cm
/1in. space on each side; and 10cm / 4 in. space at the
backside. This appliance is not designed to be built-in!
• Make sure to place the wine cooler perfectly level for best
function.
• Avoid placing in direct sunshine or near a heating source, or in
an unventilated area.
• Do not place heavy items on top of the appliance
CLEANING
• Unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
• Clean the exterior of the appliance with water and detergent.
• Clean the interior of the appliance with lukewarm water and a bit
of vinegar.
• Remove the detachable accessories in the interior of the
appliance and clean with water and liquid detergent. Do not put
any part in the dishwasher.
• Never use metal utensils or abrasive products to clean the
appliance.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

original purchase. However, return of the Product Registration Card is
not a condition of these warranties. You can also fill out this warranty

This KALORIK product is warranted in the U.S.A. for 1 year from the
date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. This
warranty is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of
purchase is required to obtain warranty performance.
During this period, if the KALORIK product, upon inspection by
KALORIK, is proven defective, it will be repaired or replaced, at
Kalorik’s option, without charge to the customer. If a replacement
product is sent, it will carry the remaining warranty of the original
product.
This warranty does not apply to any defect arising from a buyer's or
user's misuse of the product, negligence, failure to follow KALORIK
instructions noted in the user’s manual, use on current or voltage
other than that stamped on the product, wear and tear, alteration
or repair not authorized by KALORIK, or use for commercial purposes.
There is no warranty for glass parts, glass containers, filter basket,
blades and agitators, and accessories in general. There is also no
warranty for parts lost by the user.

If the appliance should become defective within the warranty
period and more than 30 days after date of purchase, do not return
the appliance to the store: often, our Customer Service
Representatives can help solve the problem without having the

UTILIZACION
CUIDADO: Antes de conectar el aparato a la red eléctrica, déjelo tal

Elección manual de la temperatura
La temperatura está preajustada al salir de la fábrica. Si quiere
cambiar la temperatura, elija la zona del aparato y haga los
cambios necesarios.

botones temperatura arriba “UP” y temperatura abajo “DOWN”.

CONSIGNES DE SECURITE

Contrôle de la température et affichage
La plage de température de la cave à vin est de zone supérieure est
de 52°F à 64°F (11°C à 18°C). La température basse est
recommandée pour le stockage du vin et une température plus
haute est idéale pour le vin rouge.
L’écran LCD affiche d’ordinaire la température intérieure à l’instant.
Réglage manuel de la température
La température cible idéale est prédéfinie en sortie d’usine. Si vous
voulez ajuster la température cible prédéfinie, changez la
température en fonction de vos besoins an suivant les étapes
suivantes.
La température de la cave à vin peut être changée en pressant les
boutons « Haut » (UP) et « Bas » (DOWN) comme indiqué ci-dessous.
1) En appuyant sur les boutons 11 et 12 (C/F) du panneau de
contrôle, sélectionnez si vous voulez afficher la température en
Fahrenheit (F) ou Celsius (C). La valeur de la température en
Fahrenheit est toujours supérieure à celle de la température en
Celsius.
2) Il y a 2 autres boutons sur le panneau. Pressez sur « HAUT » (11)
pour augmenter la température, ou sur « Bas » (12) pour diminuer
la température souhaitée.

3) Quand l’appareil est mis en marche, il commence à refroidir.
Quand il atteint la nouvelle température cible, il arrête de refroidir
ce qui signifie que la température interne va se réchauffer.
4) Quand la température interne dépasse un certain seuil au-dessus
de la température cible, l’appareil refroidira de nouveau, et ainsi
de suite selon des cycles de refroidissement.
Vous pouvez allumer/éteindre la lampe intérieure en pressant sur le
bouton d’allumage de l’éclairage (10) sur le panneau de contrôle.
Note :
• La cave à vin doit être placée sur une surface horizontale et
plate, et avec suffisamment d’espace autour pour assurer une
ventilation adéquate (au mois 2cm / 1 pouce de chaque côté,
et 10cm / 4 pouces à l’arrière). Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour
être encastré.
• Placez l’appareil parfaitement à niveau pour une fonction
optimale
• Ne pas placer directement au soleil, près d’une source de
chaleur ou dans une zone non-ventilée.

NETTOYAGE ET MAINTENANCE
• Débranchez l'appareil avant de le nettoyer.
• Nettoyez l’extérieur de l'appareil uniquement avec un chiffon ou
une éponge humide, éventuellement avec un peu de détergent
doux et de l’eau.
• Nettoyez l’intérieur de l'appareil uniquement avec un chiffon ou

• Enlevez les accessoires détachables (étagères) et nettoyez-les

Si vous envoyez le produit, veuillez y joindre une lettre expliquant la
nature du défaut.
