BEFORE USE:
This appliance runs on 4 AA/LR6 batteries.
Open the batteries housing by turning anticlockwise and by
raising it.
Insert the batteries in such a way that the top of the batteries is
aligned with the symbol inside the housing.
To close the battery housing, put it back on the appliance
making the painted element on both parts correspond, then turn it clockwise until it gets locked.
Open the body of the appliance according to the drawing
painted on its metallic part.
Fill the transparent tank with salt or pepper.
Connect both parts anew by turning the appliance contrary to
the drawing painted on the metallic part
USE
Before seasoning your meals, you can adjust the fineness of the
ground salt and pepper by turning the adjustment wheels on the underside of the mill (one for pepper and one for salt).
To do so, turn the wheel clockwise for a finer grind and
counterclockwise for a coarser grind.
Hold the appliance above the meal to season and push the
button which is on top of the appliance. The light lights the part you are seasoning and enables a precise grinding.
MAINTENANCE
Disassemble the different parts of the appliance and clean them separately with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the mill in liquid or put it in a dishwasher. Do not use with wet hands. Do not use cleaning products or detergents.

BATTERY
If your appliance does not work properly, it is probably because the batteries are discharged. In that case, replace them by new ones of the same type (see BEFORE USE). Please eliminate the old batteries in an environmentally friendly way.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the mill does not grind, please check that the batteries are installed correctly and are not discharged. For best results we recommend alkaline batteries.
If the mill gets stuck during use, gently shake the mill to remove the stuck pepper.
