WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Lesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung, bevor Sie Ihr Gerät
benutzen, und befolgen Sie immer die Sicherheitsvorschriften und
die Gebrauchsanweisung.
Wichtig: Das Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und von

Während des Gebrauchs können zugängliche Teile des Gerätes
eine sehr hohe Temperatur erreichen. Berühren Sie diese Teile
nicht, sondern benutzen Sie den Griff. Achten Sie darauf, dass
das Heizelement nicht mit anderen Gegenständen in Berührung
kommt.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die heißen Teile nicht mit leicht
entflammbarem Material wie Gardinen, Tischdecken, usw. in
Berührung kommen. Brandgefahr!
Ziehen Sie den Stecker des Gerätes aus der Steckdose wenn es
nicht benutzt wird, auch wenn der Schalter schon auf der Stellung
0 steht.
Bereiten Sie nur Nahrungsmittel zu, die zum Verzehr geeignet
sind.
Bei Gebrauch den Raum durchlüften.
Niemals das Gerät abdecken.
Öl und Fett können bei Überhitzung brennen. Seien Sie äußerst
vorsichtig.
Ihr Gerät darf niemals über eine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder
irgendein anderes, separates Fernbedienungssystem
eingeschaltet werden.

Achtung: Wenn das Symbol auf einer bestimmten Fläche des

VOR DER ERSTEN INBETRIEBNAHME
• Säubern Sie das Gerät (siehe "Reinigung und Pflege"). Es ist ratsam, das Gerät ca. 10
Minuten vorzuwärmen ohne Grillgut, damit der Eigengeruch des Grills abklingt.
• Für ausreichende Lüftung ist zu sorgen.
INBETRIEBNAHME
• Schließen Sie das Gerät und stecken Sie den Stecker in eine Steckdose.
• Wählen Sie die gewünschte Garzeit am Zeitschalter. Die Kontrollleuchte geht an, um
anzudeuten, dass das Gerät aufheizt.
• Heizen Sie das Gerät vor, bis die ideale Temperatur erreicht ist. Sobald diese Temperatur
erreicht ist, geht die Kontrollleuchte aus. Die Kontrollleuchte geht während des Gebrauchs
an und aus um anzudeuten, dass die Temperatur beibehalten wird.
• Achtung! Während des Gebrauchs werden die Backplatten heiß. Berühren Sie sie nicht!
GEBRAUCH IM GESCHLOSSENEN MODUS
• Sobald das Gerät die Temperatur erreicht hat, öffnen Sie das aufgeheizte Gerät und
fetten Sie die untere Backplatte eventuell leicht ein mit Butter, Margarine oder Speiseöl,
aber die Antihaftbeschichtung der Platten macht das Einreiben nicht unbedingt
notwendig.
• Legen Sie anschließend die Nahrungsmittel in das Gerät und schließen Sie den Deckel.
• Die Garzeit ist unterschiedlich und richtet sich nach Art und Beschaffenheit der jeweiligen
Nahrungsmittel.
• Drehen Sie nach Gebrauch den Zeitschalter zur Stufe "0" und ziehen Sie den Stecker aus
der Steckdose. Lassen Sie das Gerät auf, damit die Backplatten abkühlen können.

GEBRAUCH IM TISCHGRILLMODUS
• Falls Sie das Gerät als Tischgrill benutzen wollen und eine doppelte Kochfläche
bekommen wollen, öffnen Sie das Gerät völlig. Heben Sie dazu den Deckel in senkrechter
Stellung ein wenig auf und öffnen Sie ihn weiter, bis die 2 Kochflächen horizontal sind.
• Sobald das Gerät die Temperatur erreicht hat, öffnen Sie das aufgeheizte Gerät völlig und
fetten Sie die Backplatten eventuell leicht ein mit Butter, Margarine oder Speiseöl, aber die
Antihaftbeschichtung der Platten macht das Einreiben nicht unbedingt notwendig.
• Legen Sie anschließend die Nahrungsmittel auf den Grill.
• Die Garzeit ist unterschiedlich und richtet sich nach Art und Beschaffenheit der jeweiligen
Nahrungsmittel.
• Drehen Sie nach Gebrauch den Zeitschalter zur Stufe "0" und ziehen Sie den Stecker aus
der Steckdose. Lassen Sie das Gerät auf, damit die Backplatten abkühlen können.
PRAKTISCHE HINWEISE
• Tiefgefrorenes vor dem Aufheizen auftauen.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie die Antihaftbeschichtung nicht beschädigen, weil die
Beschichtung sonst ihre nichtklebende Eigenschaften verlieren würde. Benutzen Sie einen
Holzspatel oder einen hitzebeständigen Plastikspatel.
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
• Bevor Sie das Gerät säubern, stellen Sie den Zeitschalter auf Stufe 0 und ziehen Sie den
Stecker aus der Steckdose.
• Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.
• Wischen Sie die Außenseite mit einem feuchten Tuch ab, und vergewissern Sie sich dass
keine Feuchtigkeit, Öl oder Fett in das Gerät dringt.
• Wischen Sie die Backplatten mit einem weichen Tuch oder mit Küchenpapier.
• Niemals mit metallenen Gegenständen reinigen oder Schleif- und Scheuermittel
verwenden.
• Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance,
and always follow the safety and operating instructions.
Important: This appliance can be used by children over 8 years old
and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or
with a lack of experience or knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance
and the risks involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless
they are older than 8 years and supervised. Never leave the
appliance and its cord unsupervised and within reach of children less
than 8 years old or irresponsible persons, especially when it is
plugged into the wall or when it is cooling down.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the
appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use

Never use accessories which are not recommended by the
integrity.

The temperature of the accessible surfaces may be very high
when the appliance is in use. Never touch these surfaces and

Switch off and unplug the appliance when not in use.

a separated remote control system.

surface, you need to be careful when handling the product. This
symbol means: CAUTION, this surface may get very hot during
use.
The symbol is always put on the surface with the highest
temperature, however the other metallic or non-metallic surfaces
can also become very hot during use and it is therefore advisable
to always handle them with care and if possible with the help of
isothermal gloves or other thermal protection. In case of doubt
concerning the temperature of a certain surface it is always
preferable to protect oneself.

(*) Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the
producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and
competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger.
In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Clean the grill (cf. "Cleaning and care"). It is recommended to heat up the appliance for
about 10 minutes without any foodstuff in order to eliminate the grease that may have
adhered during manufacture and the “new” smell.
• Ventilate the room during this period.
OPERATION
• Close the appliance and plug into the electrical outlet.
• Select the cooking time using the timer knob. The pilot light will come on, indicating that
the appliance is heating.
• Preheat the cooker to reach the ideal cooking temperature. When the appliance reaches
the temperature, the pilot light will go out. The pilot light goes on and off while the
appliance is working to indicate that the temperature is maintained.
• Attention: during operation, the baking plates heat up. Pay attention not to get burned.
USING THE APPLIANCE IN CLOSED MODE
• When the appliance has reached the temperature, open the appliance and lightly brush
the bottom baking plate with butter, margarine or cooking oil. Since the appliance has a
non-stick coated surface, the use of butter or oil is optional.
• Now put the foodstuffs in the cooker and close the appliance again.
• The baking times vary according to the nature of the foodstuffs and to your personal taste.
• When baking is finished, turn the button to the “0” position and disconnect the cooker.
Leave it open so that the baking plates can cool down.
USING THE APPLIANCE IN TABLE GRILL MODE
• If you want to use the appliance as a table grill and have a double cooking surface, open
it completely. To do so, you just have to lift the lid a little bit when it is in vertical position
and then open it further until the 2 cooking surfaces are horizontal.
• When the appliance has reached the temperature, open the appliance completely and
lightly brush the baking plates with butter, margarine or cooking oil. Since the appliance
has a non-stick coated surface, the use of butter or oil is optional.
• Now put the foodstuffs onto the grill.
• The baking times vary according to the nature of the foodstuffs and to your personal taste.
• When baking is finished, turn the button to the “0” position and disconnect the cooker.
Leave it open so that the baking plates can cool down.
PRACTICAL HINTS
• Frozen food should always be thawed before it is baked.
• Never scratch the special non-stick coating since it would lose its non-adhesive properties.
Use a wooden spatula or a heat-resistant plastic spatula.

CLEANING AND CARE
• Before cleaning, put the timer in 0 position and make sure that the plug has been
removed from the mains supply socket.
• Allow the appliance to cool down thoroughly.
• Wipe the outside only with a slightly moistened cloth ensuring that no moisture, oil or
grease enters the cooling slots.
• Wipe the inside and the edges of the plate with a paper towel or a soft cloth.
• Do not clean the inside or outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool as this will
damage the finish.
• Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE MISE EN MARCHE
• Nettoyez le cuiseur (cf. "Nettoyage et entretien"). Il est conseillé de faire chauffer le cuiseur
pendant 10 minutes sans aliments afin d'éliminer des restants éventuels de graisse et de
supprimer l'odeur du ‘neuf’.
• Bien ventiler la pièce pendant cette opération et en général, lors de tout usage.
MISE EN MARCHE
• Fermez votre appareil et branchez la fiche de votre appareil dans la prise de courant.
• Sélectionnez le temps de cuisson à l’aide de la minuterie. Le voyant lumineux s’allumera
indiquant la chauffe de l’appareil.
• Préchauffez la poêle afin d'atteindre la température idéale pour la cuisson. Lorsque
l’appareil a atteint la température, l’indicateur lumineux s’éteint. Le voyant se rallume et
s’éteint pendant le fonctionnement pour indiquer que la température est maintenue.
• Attention: pendant l'utilisation, les plaques deviennent chaudes. Faites attention de ne
pas vous brûler.
UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL EN MODE FERME
• Lorsque l’appareil est à température, ouvrez l’appareil et enduisez légèrement la plaque
de cuisson du bas de matière grasse telle que du beurre, de la margarine ou toute autre
graisse de cuisson. Les plaques étant anti-adhésives, l'utilisation de beurre est facultative.
• Ajoutez ensuite les aliments dans la poêle et refermez l’appareil.
• Le temps de cuisson dépend de la nature des aliments et de votre goût personnel.
• Après utilisation, tournez le bouton sur “ 0” et débranchez l'appareil. Laissez-le ouvert afin
que les plaques puissent refroidir.
UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL EN MODE GRIL DE TABLE
• Lorsque vous désirez utiliser l’appareil en mode gril de table et avoir ainsi une double
surface de cuisson, il faut l’ouvrir entièrement. Pour cela il suffit lorsque le couvercle est en
position verticale de légèrement le souvelever et puis de continuer à l’ouvrir jusqu’à ce
que les 2 surfaces de cuisson soient bien horizontales.
• Lorsque l’appareil est à température, ouvrez entièrement l’appareil et enduisez
légèrement les plaques de cuisson de matière grasse telle que du beurre, de la margarine
ou toute autre graisse de cuisson. Les plaques étant anti-adhésives, l'utilisation de beurre
est facultative.

CONSEILS PRATIQUES
• Faire dégeler les aliments congelés avant de les cuire.
• Veillez à ne pas griffer le revêtement spécial de la poêle car il perdrait alors son caractère
antiadhésif. Utilisez une spatule en bois classique ou en plastique spécialement étudiée
pour résister à la chaleur.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
• Avant de nettoyer votre appareil, placez le bouton de la minuterie sur la position “ 0” et
débranchez la fiche de la prise murale.
• Laissez refroidir l’appareil avant le nettoyage.
• Essuyez l’intérieur et les angles de l’appareil à l’aide de papier absorbant ou d’un chiffon
doux.
• Essuyez l’extérieur de l’appareil à l’aide d’un chiffon légèrement humide, en vous assurant
que l'humidité, l’huile ou la graisse ne s’infiltre pas dans les aérations de refroidissement de
l’appareil.
• Ne nettoyez jamais votre appareil (extérieur et intérieur) à l’aide de produits abrasifs car
cela abîmerait le revêtement.
• N'immergez pas l'appareil dans l'eau ou tout autre liquide.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig alvorens u uw toestel
gebruikt, en respecteer altijd de veiligheids- en de
gebruiksvoorschriften.
Belangrijk: Het toestel mag worden gebruikt door kinderen van meer
dan 8 jaar oud en door personen met beperkte fysieke, sensoriële of
mentale capaciteiten of met een gebrek aan ervaring of kennis als ze
onder toezicht staan of vooraf instructies hebben gekregen
betreffende een veilig gebruik van het toestel en de risico’s die
ermee gepaard gaan. Kinderen mogen in geen geval met het toestel
spelen. Schoonmaak en onderhoud mogen niet worden uitgevoerd
door kinderen, tenzij ze 8 jaar of ouder zijn en onder toezicht staan.
Laat uw toestel en zijn snoer nooit zonder toezicht en binnen het
bereik van kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar of van ontoerekeningsvatbare
personen, vooral wanneer het onder spanning staat of wanneer het

Controleer of de netspanning overeenkomt met deze van het

Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het toestel afkoelen

delen niet aanraakt en gebruik de handgreep.
Zorg ervoor dat de warme onderdelen van het toestel tijdens het
gebruik niet in aanraking komen met gemakkelijk ontvlambare
materialen, zoals gordijnen, een tafelkleed en dergelijke vermits
deze in brand zouden kunnen vliegen.
Schakel het toestel uit en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact als
het niet in gebruik is.
Kook enkel eetwaren geschikt om te koken en voor consumptie.
Verlucht de ruimte tijdens de werking.
Bedek dit toestel nooit.
Olie- of vetbereidingen kunnen in brand vliegen bij oververhitting.
Wees dus zeer voorzichtig.
Uw toestel mag nooit worden aangezet door middel van een
externe timer of een separaat systeem met afstandsbediening.
Opgelet: Wanneer het symbool op een bepaald oppervlak
gekleefd is, moet u voorzichtig zijn. Dit symbool betekent het
volgende: OPGELET, dit oppervlak kan tijdens het gebruik heel
warm worden.
Het symbool is altijd aangebracht op het oppervlak waarvan
de temperatuur het hoogst is, maar ook de andere metalen of

behandelen en indien mogelijk met behulp van warmte-isolerende
handschoenen of een andere thermische bescherming. In geval
van twijfel wat betreft de temperatuur van een bepaald oppervlak
is het altijd het best om zich te beschermen.

of de invoerder, die erkend en bevoegd is om dergelijke herstellingen
te doen zodat elk gevaar vermeden wordt. Gelieve het toestel bij
problemen naar deze dienst terug te brengen.
VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
• Reinig het kooktoestel vooraleer u het toestel gebruikt (zie "Reiniging en onderhoud"). Bij
het aanzetten kunnen er geurtjes en rook ontstaan. Dit is normaal, het zijn resten van oliën
die bij fabricage niet verwijderd werden. Het is daarom aangeraden het toestel ongeveer
10 minuten te laten werken zonder voedsel te bereiden.
• Ventileer de kamer tijdens deze handeling en ook tijdens het gebruik.
GEBRUIK
• Sluit het toestel en steek de stekker in het stopcontact.
• Kies de baktijd met behulp van de timerknop. Het controlelampje zal branden om aan te
duiden dat het toestel opwarmt.
• Het apparaat voorverhitten om de juiste temperatuur voor het bakken te bereiken. Het
controlelampje gaat uit als de temperatuur is bereikt. Het controlelampje gaat aan en uit
terwijl het toestel in werking is om aan te duiden dat de temperatuur behouden wordt.
• Opgelet: wanneer het toestel in gebruik is, worden de bakplaten heel warm. Let erop dat
u zich niet verbrandt.
GESLOTEN GEBRUIK
• Wanneer het toestel de temperatuur heeft bereikt, open het dan en vet de onderste
bakplaat eventueel lichtjes in met boter, olie of margarine zonder de randen in te vetten.
De antiaanbaklaag van de bakplaten maakt het gebruik van boter facultatief.
• Doe dan de voedingsmiddelen in het toestel en sluit het toestel opnieuw.
• De baktijd hangt af van het voedsel dat u bakt en van uw smaak.
• Draai de knop na gebruik naar stand "0" en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact. Laat het
toestel open liggen om af te koelen.
GEBRUIK ALS TAFELGRILL
• Als u het toestel wenst te gebruiken als tafelgrill en een dubbel grilloppervlak wenst te
verkrijgen, open het toestel dan volledig. Daarvoor hoeft u enkel het deksel een beetje op
te tillen wanneer het zich in verticale stand bevindt en het dan nog verder te openen tot
de 2 grilloppervlakken horizontaal liggen.
• Wanneer het toestel de temperatuur heeft bereikt, open het dan volledig en vet de
bakplaten eventueel lichtjes in met boter, olie of margarine zonder de randen in te
vetten. De antiaanbaklaag van de bakplaten maakt het gebruik van boter facultatief.

PRAKTISCHE TIPS
• Ontdooi diepgevroren voedsel vooraleer u het in het toestel doet.
• Maak geen krassen in de antiaanbaklaag omdat deze anders haar niet-klevende
eigenschap verliest. Gebruik een houten spatel of een hittebestendige plastic spatel om
het voedsel uit het toestel te verwijderen.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
• Zet de timerknop op "0" en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
• Laat het toestel volledig afkoelen vooraleer u het reinigt.
• Reinig de buitenkant met een zachte, vochtige doek. Let erop dat er geen vocht of olie
via de koelspleten naar binnen sijpelt.
• Veeg de bakplaten schoon met een zachte doek of een stuk keukenpapier.
• Gebruik nooit schuurmiddelen om het toestel te reinigen, omdat u anders het oppervlak
ernstig beschadigt. Gebruik geen scherpe of ijzeren voorwerpen.
• Dompel het toestel niet onder in water of andere vloeistoffen.

Om ons milieu en onze gezondheid te beschermen, moet afgedankte elektrische en
elektronische apparatuur in overeenstemming met welbepaalde regels weggegooid worden.
Dit vergt zowel de inzet van de leveranciers als van de gebruikers. Daarom mag uw apparaat,
