two 1.5V A AA ba tter ies i nto the
batter y hol der, bein g sure to

Open the s ens or interf ace cover o f the therm ome ter andpl ug the
sensor p in in to it. When m easurin g the tempe rat ure of a food i tem,

insert t he pr obe into th e food, ens uring tha t the s ensor pin r eaches
at least 3 c m dee p.

Tip : Do no t place the s ensor pro be direct ly on o r near the gr ill for
an exten ded p erio d of ti me.
