A WORD ON SLOW JUICING
The name "slow juicer" can be very confusing to some people. The
name implies that it is very slow, when in fact its speed at juicing fruit
and vegetables is as fast, or even faster than your traditional
centrifugal juicer. The name “slow juicer” comes about because of
the speed of the motor, which operates at only 80 rpm, and only
uses 250 watt of energy, while a traditional centrifugal juicer
operates at 1,000-24,000RPM and uses up to 800W of energy! This of
course means that a slow juicer is much more economical to run and
provides a real cost saving to the consumer.
The slow juicer uses a screw-like auger that crushes and presses the
food to extract juice, which preserves more of the phytonutrients,
more vitamins and minerals, and means that you will have a much
healthier juice. Oxidation is also greatly reduced so that a more
natural color is retained and the juice does not separate out as it
does with other juice extractors. The nutrients are kept intact during
the juicing process, as they are not heated by the high speed
spinning, or destroyed by a rasp or a blade.
The slow juicer can juice faster and the pulp that is expelled is also
much drier than with your traditional juicer which means that you will
get much more juice from your produce. It works very well with nuts,
leafy greens (ex. Wheat grass), or juicy roots (like ginger) too, so it
brings more versatility to your daily fresh juices. Another benefit of the
slow juicer is its quietness. No one likes a lot of noise coming from the
kitchen to disturb the peace and quiet of the household, especially
early in the morning. It's also easy and quick to clean, and offer a
smaller footprint than traditional juice extractors.
In short, the slow juicer is superior to other types of juicers because it
retains more of the nutrients in the fruits and vegetables, which
means better health for the consumer. It's also cheaper to run,
quieter and easy to clean.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This appliance is not for professional use. You should follow the
requested breaks. Failure to follow this instruction carefully may result
in damage to the motor. The maximum continuous usage time is 30
minutes. After this, please rest your appliance for around 2 hours.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Carefully clean the outer housing with a damp cloth, wash the
accessories in warm soapy water and dry with a dry towel. Do not
use abrasive cleaners. Do not immerse the power cord or motor unit
in water or any other liquid.
Note: This appliance is equipped with a safety switch; therefore you
can only switch on the appliance when the motor unit and the
accessories have been assembled correctly.
ASSEMBLY AND USE
Note: Before assembling the appliance, make sure that it is not
plugged in.
• Put the motor unit on a table or a flat surface.
• On the bottom of the strainer housing there is a silicone seal (Fig.
1), which closes the pulp outlet from inside. To clean the pulp
outlet, remove the silicone seal and put it back after cleaning.
Always make sure the seal is closed before using the appliance.

• Place the strainer housing onto the motor unit, by putting the
three square openings of the strainer housing onto the three
square pins of the motor unit (Fig. 2) and turn the strainer housing
clockwise to lock it in place (Fig. 3).

• First put the filter sieve in the strainer holder, and then both
together in the strainer housing.
Make sure that the triangle mark of the filter sieve coincides with
the triangle mark of the strainer housing (Fig. 4).

• Put the auger into the filter sieve, and make sure that it is placed
on the shaft of the motor unit (Fig. 5).

• Put the lid onto the strainer housing. Make the triangle mark of
the cover coincide with the triangle mark of the strainer housing
(Fig. 6) and turn the cover clockwise all the way to the stop (Fig.
7) to lock it in place.
Important! If the cover and the strainer housing have not been
assembled correctly, the juice extractor cannot be switched on – the
function is prohibited by a safety switch!

• Put the transparent juice container under the juice spout and the
black opaque pulp container under the pulp spout.
• Switch the appliance on – switch in position „ON“.

• Feed in fruit and vegetables, wheat grass, nuts, etc. through the
feeder tube of the lid. Insert the pusher to push the food towards
the Auger.
Caution: Never put your fingers in the feeder tube of the cover when
the appliance is operating. You might get injured!
Note: Fruit and vegetables should be prepared before juicing, in
such a way that they can easily be pushed through the feeder tube
of the lid.
• Avoid overfilling the appliance. In case of overfilling, the juice
gets thicker.
• If the appliance should stop or get stuck because of overfilling,
switch it off immediately and put the switch in position „R“
(reverse) to attempt to remove the clog. Then the motor is put in
reverse only for as long as the switch is depressed.
Note: The quality of the fruit and vegetables is essential for an
optimal quality of the juice. Ensure that you always purchase fresh
vegetables and fruit. Old fruits and vegetables will produce much
less juice, with less nutrients and vitamin content. Wash the fruit or
vegetables thoroughly before juice extraction, because of pesticides
possibly used when the food is grown.
Always bear in mind that certain types of soft fruit which tend to form
'slush' are not ideally suitable for juice extraction, e.g. soft pears,
bananas, boiled apples. For juice extraction do not insert any fruit still
having a kernel!
The weight of the products to be fed in can amount to about 800 g /
2 lb. per batch, depending on the quality and the juiciness of the
food used to extract the juice.
Note: smaller quantities per batch shall ensure better results during
the juice extraction.
CLEANING
• After use, switch off and unplug the appliance and wait until the
motor stops, i.e. until the juice extractor has come to standstill.

Turn the cover counter-clockwise and remove the lid, and then
the auger, the filter and the strainer holder.
• Turn the strainer housing counter-clockwise and remove it from
the motor unit.
• Wash all the removable parts preferably under warm running
water, with a little bit of dish soap if needed. They can also be
washed in the dishwasher, please select the express or low
temperature program to do so.
• To clean the pulp spout of the strainer housing, remove the
silicone seal from the bottom and close it again after cleaning.
• Clean the filter sieve with the provided cleaning brush. Do not use
any metallic or sharp objects to clean the filter sieve. Make sure
the small hole and the gutter at the bottom of the sieve are free
of pulp residue.
• When necessary wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never
immerse it in water or any other liquid.
• Never use abrasive products to clean any parts of your
appliance, in order not to damage the finish.
GENERAL NOTES
The main rule is that the juice always be enjoyed fresh. The fresher
the vegetables or fruits, and the shorter the storage time of the juice,
the better the taste and the nutrition you can get from it.

ALGUNAS ACLARACIONES ACERCA DE LO QUE
ES UN “EXPRIMIDOR LENTO”
La denominación “exprimidor lento” puede ser muy confusa para
algunas personas. El nombre puede ser interpretado como que es
muy lento, cuando en realidad su velocidad al exprimir el jugo de
una fruta y de un vegetal es tan rápida, o incluso más rápida que la
de su exprimidor de jugos centrífugo tradicional. La razón por la que
se le da el nombre “exprimidor lento” es la velocidad del motor, el
cual funciona a sólo 80 rpm (revoluciones por minuto), y usa sólo 250
watts de energía, mientras que un exprimidor centrífugo tradicional
funciona a 1,000-24,000rpm y utiliza hasta 800W de energía!
Obviamente, esto significa que un exprimidor de jugos lento tiene un

MONTAJE Y UTILIZACIÓN

en la posición „R“(marcha atrás) para tratar de quitar lo que lo
está obstruyendo. A continuación las funciones del interruptor
como interruptor táctil y pone el aparato en marcha atrás solo
por el tiempo, ya que está deprimido.
Nota: La calidad de las frutas y hortalizas es decisiva para la calidad

LIMPIEZA
• Después de su uso, apague y desenchufe el aparato y espere

CONSIGNES CONCERNANT LE CORDON
Le cordon d’alimentation de l’appareil est un cordon de type court,
et ce afin de diminuer les risques d’accidents (chute si vous marchez
sur le cordon...). Vous pouvez toutefois utiliser une rallonge si
nécessaire mais:
• Assurez-vous que l'ampérage de la rallonge soit égal ou
supérieur à celui de l'appareil. Une rallonge avec un
ampérage inférieur à celui de l'appareil risquerait de
surchauffer et de brûler.
• La rallonge ne doit pas pendre du plan de travail ou de la
table afin d'éviter que les enfants ne le tirent ou trébuchent.
UN PETIT MOT SUR L’EXTRACTION LENTE
L’appellation « extraction lente » peut être une source de confusion.
Le nom semblerait indiquer que le procédé d’extraction est très lent,
alors qu’au contraire, vous aller pouvoir presser des fruits et légumes
aussi ou même plus rapidement qu’avec une centrifugeuse
traditionnelle. Le nom provient du fait que le moteur n’opère qu’à 80
tours per minutes, et ne consomme que 250W, alors qu’une
centrifugeuse tourne généralement de1000 à 24,000 tours, et
consomme aisément 800W d’énergie ou plus. Cela signifie bien sûr
qu’un extracteur de jus vertical est plus économique à l’usage et
offre des avantages indéniables aux utilisateurs.
Un extracteur vertical utilise une vis sans fin qui écrase et presse les
aliments pour en retirer le jus, ce qui préserve les nutriments, les
vitamines et les minéraux contenus dans les fruits et légumes.
L’oxydation est aussi fortement réduite, ce qui permet d’obtenir un
jus aux couleurs plus naturelles, et sans séparation eau/pulpe et
mousse, généralement associées aux procédés d’extraction
traditionnels. Les nutriments sont laissés intacts, sans être détruits par
la chaleur due à la rotation à grande vitesse, ou au contact avec
une râpe ou une lame.
L’extracteur vertical va générer du jus plus rapidement, et la pulpe

INTERVALLES D’UTILISATION
Cet appareil ne peut être utilisé de façon professionnelle. Vous
devez respecter les pauses de fonctionnement. Dans le cas
contraire vous risqueriez d’endommager le moteur. La durée
maximale d’utilisation continue est de 30 minutes. Après une
utilisation en continu de 30 minutes, il est nécessaire d'effectuer une
pause de fonctionnement d'au moins 2 heures.
AVANT LA PREMIERE UTILISATION
Nettoyez le corps extérieur soigneusement à l’aide d’un chiffon
humide, lavez les accessoires à l’eau chaude savonneuse et séchezles avec une serviette sèche. N'utilisez pas de produits abrasifs. Ne
plongez jamais le cordon d’alimentation ou le bloc moteur dans
l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.

MONTAGE ET MISE EN SERVICE DE L’APPAREIL
• Avant de monter l’appareil, assurez-vous qu’il est débranché.
• Posez le bloc moteur sur une table ou un support suffisamment
stable.
• Au fond du bloc de séparation se trouve un joint en silicone (Fig.
1), qui ferme la sortie des résidus de l’intérieur. Pour nettoyer la
sortie des résidus, enlevez le joint en silicone et remettez-le après
le nettoyage. Assurez-vous toujours que la joint est en place et
fermé avant d’utiliser l’appareil.
• Placez le bloc de séparation sur le bloc moteur, en mettant les
trois ouvertures carrées du bloc de séparation sur les trois cônes
carrés du bloc moteur (Fig. 2) et tournez le bloc de séparation
dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à venir en butée
(Fig. 3).

• Mettez le filtre dans le support du filtre, puis mettez l’ensemble

• Posez le couvercle sur le bloc de séparation. Assurez-vous que le
triangle sur le couvercle s’aligne bien avec le triangle sur le bloc
de séparation (Fig. 6) et tournez le couvercle dans le sens des
aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à venir en butée (Fig. 7).
Important! Si le couvercle et le bloc de séparation n’ont pas été
montés correctement, la centrifugeuse ne pourra pas être mise en
marche (à cause de l’interrupteur de sécurité).

• Placez le récipient pour le jus sous le bec de sortie du jus et le
récipient à résidus sous le bec de sortie des résidus.
• Mettez l'appareil en marche – interrupteur en position „ON“.
• Introduisez les fruits, légumes, noix, herbes aromatiques, etc., par
l'entonnoir du couvercle, en exerçant périodiquement une
pression modérée avec le poussoir. Ne mettez jamais les doigts

Note: Préparez les fruits ou les légumes à l’avance, de façon à ce
qu'ils puissent passer facilement par l'entonnoir du couvercle.
• Evitez de trop remplir l'appareil. Cela épaissirait le jus.
Si l’appareil s’arrête ou s’enlise à cause d’une surcharge,
éteignez-le immédiatement et mettez l’interrupteur en position
« R » (marche inversée) pour retirer le bouchon / trop plein de
pulpe. Alors le moteur fonctionnera en marche inverse, tant que
l’interrupteur sera maintenu en position « R ».
La qualité des fruits et des légumes est essentielle pour la qualité du
jus obtenu. Veillez à toujours acheter des fruits et des légumes
parfaitement frais. De vieux fruits ou légumes produiront moins de jus,
avec peu de nutriments ou de vitamines. Lavez-les soigneusement
avant l'utilisation. Cette précaution vous permettra d'éliminer
d'éventuels résidus de produits phytosanitaires / pesticides, qui
auraient pu être utilisés pendant la production des aliments.
Certains fruits ayant tendance à "mousser" ne sont pas idéalement
adaptés à la préparation de jus par pressage lent, notamment les
poires molles, les bananes ou les pommes cuites. Ne pas introduire
de fruits avec encore leur noyau dans l’extracteur de jus vertical.
Suivant la qualité et la quantité de jus extractible, la centrifugeuse
permet de traiter facilement environ 800 g de fruits ou légumes.
Remarque: des quantités plus petites par opération peuvent garantir
un meilleur résultat lors de l'extraction du jus.
NETTOYAGE
• Après utilisation, éteignez et débranchez l'appareil et attendez
que le moteur soit arrêté complètement. Tournez le couvercle
dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre et enlevez le
couvercle, puis la vis sans fin, le filtre et le panier-passoire.
• Tournez le bloc de séparation dans le sens inverse des aiguilles
d’une montre et retirez-le du bloc moteur.

• Laver les différentes parties amovibles de préférence sous l'eau
courante tiède, éventuellement avec un peu de liquide vaisselle.
Toutes les parties détachables sont également lavables au lavevaisselle, si vous utilisez le programme express ou basse
température uniquement.
• Pour nettoyer la sortie de pulpe du bloc de séparation, enlevez le
joint en silicone situé sous le bloc, et passez le sous l’eau
courante. Assurez-vous de le remettre bien en place après le
nettoyage.
• Nettoyez le filtre à l’aide de la brosse de nettoyage fournie.
N’utilisez pas d’objets métalliques ou pointus pour nettoyer le
filtre. Assurez-vous que le petit trou et la gouttière au fond du filtre
soient libres de tout résidu de pulpe après le nettoyage.
• Nettoyer le bloc moteur avec un chiffon humide si nécessaire. Ne
plongez jamais le bloc moteur dans l'eau ou dans tout autre
liquide.
• N'utilisez pas de produits abrasifs pour nettoyer aucune des
parties de l'appareil, pour ne pas en abimer la finition.
RECOMMANDATIONS GÉNÉRALES
Les jus doivent toujours être consommés frais. La fraîcheur des fruits
ou légumes utilisés, et un temps de conservation des jus après
pressage aussi réduit que possible, sont les garants d'une saveur et
d’un pouvoir nutritionnel optimal du jus obtenu.
