The Kaleidescape Movie Player is
a high-performance audio/video
component designed to play back
movies and music in a Kaleidescape
System. The elegant 1U low-profile
chassis is designed to be rack
mounted.

The Kaleidescape Movie Player can
play HD and DVD movies from a
Kaleidescape Server to a display
device in the digital domain without
any analog processing. Dolby™
Digital, DTS, MPEG, and PCM
audio formats are fully supported.
The High-Definition Multimedia
Interface (HDMI™) and component
video connections deliver reference­quality video.

The Kaleidescape Movie Player can
be integrated with control systems
via an extensive bi-directional control
protocol over RS-232 or TCP/IP.
IR control is also available. Control
protocol and configuration options
enable seamless integration with and
automatic control of audio and video
processors, movie projectors, display
devices, control systems, lighting
systems, screen-masking systems,
and audio systems.
