Safety Instructions
- Before connecting the appliance to a
socket outlet, make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to
your local mains voltage.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid hazard.
- Switch of the appliance before changing
accessories.
- Do not immerse the motor unit
in water or any other liquid, nor
rinse it under the tap. Only use a
moist cloth for cleaning the motor unit.
- The appliance is intended for household use only. Do not use the appliance
for purposes other then described in this
manual in order to avoid hazardous situation.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Never carry or pull the appliance by the
supply cord. Do not pull the supply cord
over sharp edges. Do not jam or bend it.
- Never put the appliance or supply cord on
hot surfaces or near open ames.
- Do not use the appliance without the
trays.
Intended use
This appliance is only intended for recycling birdseed. Only use according to these
instructions. Improper use is hazardous
and will void any warranty claim. Observe
the safety instructions.
Disposal
The crossed-out wheeled bin logo
requires the separate collection
of waste electric and electronic
equipment (WEEE). Electric and electronic equipment may contain dangerous and
hazardous substances. Do not dispose of
this appliance unsorted municipal waste.
Return it to a designated collection point
for recycling of WEEE. By doing so, you
will help to conserve resources and protect
the environment. Contact your retailer or
local authorities for more information.

Assembling the Kaf O Matic
®
1. Place the house over the back plate and attach with the four self tapping screws. Make
sure the opening for the trays is on the right side. See photo.
2. Attach the blower engine with the little screw.
Using the Kaf O Matic
®
1. Make sure the slide is closed all the way,
2. Strain the chaff and seed and remove the husk and seed of feathers. For coarse to very
coarse chaff and seed you might have to repeat,
3. Turn on the blower engine,
5. Carefully slide open to the desired throughput rate is reached,
6. Wait until the entire funnel is empty and throw away the chaff.
7. Repeat if necessary,
8. When result is insufcient, you can move the yellow triangle in the house forwards or
backwards. By removing the screws and the yellow bar you can take the triangle out
and replace it at the desired spot. After moving the triangle reassemble the beam and
screws.
