1 Important safety instructions
This manual contains important information about the Philips
remote controlled outlets . Read it carefully before you st ar t the
installation and setup.
Warning
• Do not operate your r emote controlled o utlets near water.
• Do not operate your r emote controlled o utlets if liquid of any
kind is spill ed onto or inside the unit.
• Do not disassemble or repair.
• Do not ex pose your remote controlled outlets to direct
sunlight or place it near wall heaters , space heate rs, or encl osed
space prone to tempe rature in crea se.
• The Philips r emote controlled outlets requir e a properl y
grounded outlet for safety and to protect the connected
equipment. If you a re not sure whether your home’s el ectrical
wiring has p rope r grou nding, consult a qualied elec trician .

3 Get started
Note
• To avoid any potential haz ard , use the power source supplied
by your lo cal au thor iti es.
Ther e are three receivers and one remote contr ol. You can
control up to three r eceivers with the remote control.
1 Plug the receiver s into a properly grounded outlet .
2 Plug your devices into the AC outlet of r eceivers .
Install/Replace remote control battery
Caution
• Risk of explosion! Keep the bat ter y away from heat, sunshin e
or re . Neve r discard the battery in re .
• Risk of product da mage ! When the remote con trol is not use d
for long periods, remove the battery.
For rst-time use:
Remove the protective tab to activate the remote control
bat te ry.
To replace remote control batter y:
1 Open the battery compartment.
2 Inser t one A23 battery with correct polarity (+/-) as indicated .
3 Close the bat ter y compartment.
Control your devices
The plugged devices can be turned on or of f easily by the
remote control. You can control each plugged device individually
or control all the plugged devices at the same time.
Note
• The re mote controlled r ange (open eld) is up to 40 feet .
• The ou tput rati ng of each receiver is 125V/13A.
• Press button A to turn on/off the outlet of Receiver A.
• Press button B to turn on/off the outlet of Receiver B.
• Press button C to turn on/off the outlet of Receiver C.
• Press button ALL ON/ALL OFF to turn on/off all the
outlets of the three receivers at the same time.
Tip
• If you wa nt to purchase more than one unit, make sure that
they have two di fferent frequ encies (1 and 2) as indicated by
stickers on the ba ck side of packaging. You can also nd the
stickers in the ba tte ry compar tment of remote control and on
the surfa ce close to mains plug of the receiver s. The remote
contr ol of this unit oper ates on either Channel 1 or Chann el
2 frequency.
4 One Year Limited Warranty
(USA only)
Philips war rants that this product shall be fr ee from defects
in material, workmanship and assembly, under normal use, in
accordance with the specications and war nings, for a period
of one year from the date of purchase . This warrant y ex tends
only to the original purchaser of the pr oduc t, and are not
transfer able. To exercise your rights under this warranty, you
must provide proof of purchase in the form of an original sales
receipt that shows the product name and the date of pur chase.

3 Introducción
Nota

Hay tres receptores y un mando a dis tancia. Puede controlar
hasta tres rece ptores con el mando a dista ncia.
1 Enchufe los receptores a una toma conectada a tierra
adecuadamente.
2 Enchufe los dis positivos a la toma de C A de los r eceptores .
Instalación/sustitución de la pila del
mando a distancia
Precaución
• R iesgo de explosión. Mantenga la pila alejada del calor,
la luz del sol o el f uego. N unca t ire la p ila al fuego.
• R iesgo de daños en el pr oduc to. Qu ite la pila del mando
a dist ancia si est e no se va a usar durante un per iodo
largo de tiempo.
Cuando utilice el equipo por primera vez:
Quite la pestaña protectora para activar la pila del control remoto.
Para cambiar la pila del mando a dist ancia:
1 Abra el compartimento de la s pila s.
2 Inserte una pila A23 con la polaridad cor rec ta (+/-) tal y
como se indica .
3 Cier re el compar timento de las pilas .
Control de los dispositivos
Los disposit ivos enchufados se pueden acti var o desactivar
fácilmente con el mando a dis tancia. Puede controlar cada
dispositivo enchufado de forma individual o controlar todos
los dispositivos enchufados al mismo tiempo.
Nota
• E l alcance del mando a distancia (a campo abier to) es de
12 metros.
• L a potencia de s alida de cada receptor es de 125 V/13A.
Pulse el botón A para activar/desactivar la toma del

receptor A.
• Pulse el botón B para activar/desactivar la toma del
receptor B.
• Pulse el botón C para activar/desactivar la toma del
receptor C.
•
Pulse el botón ALL ON /ALL OFF para ac tivar/desactivar
las tomas de los tres receptores al mismo tiempo.
Consejo
• Si desea a dquirir má s de una u nidad, asegúrese de que
tienen dos frecue ncias dist intas (1 y 2) como se indica e n
las pegatinas de la par te pos terior del e mbal aje. Tamb ién
encontrará es tas pegatinas en el compartimento de la pila
del mando a dis tan cia y en la superficie que hay cerca
del enchufe de los receptores El mand o a distancia de
esta unidad funciona en l a frecuencia del ca nal 1 o el
canal 2.
4 Garantía limitada de un año
