A. Wichtige Hinweise
Das Schließwerk ist leichtgängig. Gewaltanwendung, insbesondere beim Einführen des
Schlüssels in das Schließwerk, ist zu vermeiden.
Das Öffnen des Schlosses mit beschädigten Schlüsseln kann zu Schäden am Schloss
führen.
Das Schloss darf nicht gefettet werden.
Das Schloss darf nur von Fachpersonal eingebaut und nur vom Hersteller geöffnet werden.
Beim unbefugten Öffnen erlischt jeglicher Gewährleistungsanspruch.
Bei Bedarf von Zusatzschlüsseln nur original LA GARD Rundschlüssel verwenden, da
sonst keine Gewährleistungsansprüche geltend gemacht werden können.
B. Öffnen
Den Schlüssel so in das Schlüsselloch einführen, dass die breite Nut des Schlüssels mit
der Markierung auf der Schlüsselrosette übereinstimmt. Anschließend nach rechts bis zum
Schlüsselanschlag drehen (ca. 180°).
Der Schlüssel ist bei geöffnetem Schloss nicht abziehbar.
C. Schließen
Den Schlüssel in die Ausgangsposition zurückdrehen.
Der Schlüssel ist nach dem Zuschließen abzuziehen. Er ist an einem sicheren Ort aufzubewahren, damit er Unbefugten nicht zugänglich ist.

D. Universal-Schlüssel (Werksschlüssel)
Dieser Werksschlüssel wird im Werk bis zur Auslieferung an den Kunden benutzt. Er passt zu
allen Schlössern, die noch nicht umgestellt wurden, und erleichtert wesentlich die Arbeit im
Werk.
E. Umstellen des Schlosses
Die paarweise gelieferten LA GARD Rundschlüssel sind alle unterschiedlich kodiert. Sie sind
mit den üblichen Maschinen der Schlüsseldienste nicht kopierbar!
Mit dem Werksschlüssel (oder dem zuletzt eingestellten Rundschlüssel) wird der Tresor
geöffnet.
Schloss wieder verschließen.
Schlüssel rechts drehen, bis die Schlüsselmarke (dünne Linie auf dem Schlüssel) mit der
Rosettenmarke übereinstimmt (im Schloss hört man ein „Klick“).
Umstellaktivator in die gleichgeformte Öffnung im Schlossdeckel (Türinnenseite!) einführen
und ohne Gewalt nach RECHTS bis zum Anschlag (ca. 90°) drehen - wie bei einem Kombinationsschloss.
Schlüssel bis zum Anschlag links drehen, und herausnehmen.
Neu gewählten Schlüssel einstecken und RECHTS drehen, bis die Schlüsselmarke mit der
Rosettenmarke übereinstimmt. Wenden Sie keine Gewalt an!
Umstellaktivator zurückdrehen (links bis zum Anschlag) und herausnehmen.
Jetzt ist das Schloss auf den neuen Schlüssel eingestellt und akzeptiert nicht mehr den
alten Schlüssel (oder andere Schlüssel).
Wichtig: Die einwandfreie Schließ- und Öffnungsfunktion mehrmals prüfen, bevor (!)
der Tresor zugeschlossen wird!
Der Umstellvorgang kann beliebig oft wiederholt werden. Die „alten“ Schlüssel können jederzeit wieder eingesetzt werden.

A. Important information
The locking mechanism works smoothly. No force should be applied - particularly when
inserting the key into the lock.
Opening the lock with a damaged key can result in damage to the lock.
The lock must not be lubricated.
The lock may only be installed by specialist personnel and only be opened by the manufacturers. Unauthorised opening will lead to invalidation of any warranty claims.
Should additional keys be required, only original LA GARD round keys are to be used.
Otherwise no warranty claims may be raised.
B. Opening the lock
Insert the key into the keyhole. The furrow of the key must be in line with the mark on the
escutcheon. Turn the key to the right until it stops (approx. 180°).
The key cannot be removed if the lock is open.
C. Locking the lock
Turn the key left until it stops (approx. 180°).
Remove the key and keep it in a safe place where it is not accessible to unauthorised
persons.

D. Set-up key (works key)
The set-up key is used in the factory until delivery to the customer. It fi ts to all locks that have
not yet been changed, and considerably facilitates the work in the factory.
E. Changing the lock
Operating keys are delivered in pairs. They are random coded and it is not possible to copy
them with standard key cutting machines.
Open the lock with the set-up key (or the currently used operating key) and open the safe.
With the safe door open, lock the lock again. Do not remove the key.
Turn the key slowly to the RIGHT until the mark on the key (thin line on the key shaft) is in
line with the mark on the escutcheon (in the lock is a “click” audible).
Insert the change activator into the change activator hole in the lock cover (inside door!)
and turn the activator without any force to the RIGHT until it stops (approx. 90°) - like a
combination lock.
Turn the key LEFT until it stops and remove it.
Insert a new operating key and turn it slowly to the RIGHT until the mark on the key is linedup with the mark on the escutcheon. Do not apply any force.
Turn the change activator to the LEFT until it stops (approx. 90°) and remove it.
The lock is set to the new key and will not work with the old key (or keys with different
codes) anymore.
Note: Check the closing and opening function several times, before (!) closing the safe
door.
The change process can be repeated as often as you like to. “Old” keys can be used again at
any time.
