Safety Warnings
• Read all the instructions carefully before using the unit and keep them for future reference.
• Retain the manual. If you pass the unit onto a third party make sure to include this manual.
Damage
• Please inspect the unit for damage after unpacking.
• Do not continue to operate the unit if you are in any doubt about
it working normally, or if it is damaged in any way - switch o and consult your dealer.
Location of Unit
• The unit must be placed on a at stable surface and should not be subjected to vibrations.
• Do not place the unit on sloped or unstable surfaces as the unit may fall o or tip over.
• Do not place the unit close to table edge. It may fall o due to vibration during high volume listening.
Temperature
• Avoid extreme degrees of temperature, either hot or cold. Place the unit well away from heat sources such as radiators or gas/electric res.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and other sources of heat.
Naked Flames
• Never place any type of candle or naked ame on the top of or near the unit.
Moisture
• To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or product damage, do not expose this unit to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing. No objects lled with liquids, such as vases, should be placed on the unit. Do not operate the unit with wet hands, near water or other liquid.
• If you spill any liquid into the unit, it can cause serious damage. Switch it o at the mains immediately. Withdraw the mains plug and consult your dealer.

Ventilation
• To prevent the risk of electric shock or re hazard due to overheating, ensure that curtains and other materials do not obstruct the ventilation vents.
• Do not install or place this unit in a bookcase, built-in cabinet or in another conned space. Ensure the unit is well ventilated.
Interference
• Do not place the unit on or near appliances which may cause electromagnetic interference. If you do, it may adversely aect the operating performance of the unit, and cause a distorted sound.
Service
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove screws. The unit does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Please leave all maintenance work to qualied personnel.
• Do not open any xed covers as this may expose dangerous voltages.
Maintenance
• Do not use any type of abrasive pad or abrasive cleaning solutions as these may damage the unit’s surface.
• Do not use liquids to clean the unit.

Unpacking
Remove all items from the packaging. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it please do so according to local regulations.

Charging the Speaker
The unit has a built-in rechargeable battery, which should be charged before using the speaker for the rst time.
The battery is charged automatically whenever the unit is connected to a computer or a USB charging device.
1. Connect the supplied micro-USB cable to the speaker, and then
connect the other end to a computer.
2. The light of the button will ash during charging. The light will go
o automatically after fully charge.
•Micro-USB socket is for charging the unit only.
•Do not overcharge the battery as it may shorten its life. Disconnect the USB cable
after the unit is fully charged.

•Use the supplied micro-USB cable only, and connect directly to a computer. Charging will not be completed properly by an indirect connection, such as via a USB hub.
•If the unit is not used for a long time, the light of the button may not light up when you connect the micro-USB cable to charge the unit. In this case, do not disconnect the micro-USB cable from the unit and wait until the light of the button lights up.
•Charging time varies depending on conditions of use of the battery and the output voltage of your charging device.
•The unit will get warm during charging. This is not a malfunction.
Battery Life
When using the Bluetooth® connection, the speaker has approx. 6 hours of playback time in fully charge status and in medium sound level. Time stated above may vary, depending on ambient temperature or conditions of use.
When the Battery is Almost Empty
The light of the button will ash quickly and the unit will prompt a continuous warning tone. When the battery becomes empty, the speaker turns o automatically.

General Operation
Powering ON/OFF
• Press Button to switch on the unit.
• Press and hold Button to switch o the unit.
Automatic Power O Function
If the speaker is left in any of the following conditions for more than approx 15 minutes, it turns o automatically.
• No Bluetooth® connection has been established between the unit and the external mobile device.
• When the battery becomes empty, the unit turns o automatically.
Adjusting the Volume
During playback, press + / – buttons on the unit to increase or decrease the volume. The unit beeps when set to the highest volume level in Bluetooth® mode during playback.

Stereo Speaker Connection
The unit support true wireless stereo output with 2 speakers. After both speakers are switched on, they will start pairing to each other automatically. The STEREO PAIR L/R indicators of both speakers will start ashing. The units will voice “CONNECTED” after stereo connection is completed.
The STEREO PAIR L indicator and the STEREO PAIR R indicator will be on to represent its audio channel.
• Press +/– on either one of the speakers to increase/decrease the volume.
• Press and hold button on either one of the speaker to switch o both the speakers.
• The Bluetooth Indicator will only work on the left channel speaker.
Before connecting your audio device to the speaker, make sure that both speakers are switched on and connected for stereo connection.
Manual Disconnect the Stereo Speaker Connection
The wireless stereo connection will be disconnected in the following circumstances:
• Press and hold the button on one of the speakers to disconnect the Bluetooth® connection.
Mono Speaker Pairing
After you disconnect the wireless stereo connection between the two speakers. You can use any one of them as a mono speaker. For Bluetooth® pairing, please refer to the Bluetooth® Operation section (p.15).
The operation range between both speakers for wireless stereo connection is up to 8 metres.

Manual Pairing for Stereo Speaker Connection
To manually pair the 2 speakers again for wireless stereo connection:
• Switch o both the speakers and then switch them on again. They will start pairing to each other automatically.
OR
1. Press the Stereo Pair button on one of the
speakers, and then press the Stereo Pair button on the other speaker. The STEREO PAIR L/R indicators of both speakers will start ashing.
2. The unit will voice “CONNECTED” after stereo connection is
completed. The speaker you press the Stereo Pair button rst will be the left channel speaker. The STEREO PAIR L indicator and the
STEREO PAIR R indicator will be on to represent its audio channel.
Clear Bluetooth memory
Press and hold
button and Stereo Pair button on the speaker to clear the Bluetooth® memory of the speaker. It is recommended to clear the Bluetooth® memory of both speakers. To reconnect the wireless stereo connection, refer to Manual Pairing for Stereo Speaker Connection section above.

Bluetooth® Operation
Switch the speaker on. The unit will nd the last paired Bluetooth® device and connect automatically.
If there is no previously paired device found, the speaker will enter Bluetooth® pairing mode automatically. The light of button will ash rapidly. Follow the steps below to pair the unit with a Bluetooth® device.
1. Activate your Bluetooth® device and select the search mode. “SP-AT3-X” will appear on your Bluetooth® device list.
2. Select “SP-AT3-X” and enter “0000” for the password if necessary. If connect successful, the light of button will light up and the unit will voice “Connected”.
3. To disconnect the Bluetooth® function, disable the function from your Bluetooth® device.
•Connect the stereo audio cable to disable Bluetooth® mode.
•You can enjoy music wirelessly from a smartphone, mobile phone, or music
player.
•The operational range between the unit and the device is up to 10 metres. Any obstacle between the device and the unit can reduce operational range.
•Before connecting a Bluetooth® device to the unit, ensure you know the device’s capabilities.
•Compatibility with all Bluetooth® devices is not guaranteed.
•Keep this player away from other electronic devices that may cause interference.
•The player will also be disconnected when your device is moved beyond the
operational range.
The model name “SP-AT3-X” shown in the Bluetooth® device list covers both SP- AT3-B” and “SP-AT3-W”.

Listening to Music
Bluetooth® Mode
You can enjoy listening to music and basic remote control operation of a Bluetooth® device via a Bluetooth® connection. The Bluetooth® device is required to support the following Bluetooth® proles.
• A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Prole): you are enable to enjoy high-quality audio content wirelessly.
• AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Prole): use the unit to control play.
– To pause / resume playback, press once. – To increase or decrease the volume, press + / – .

AUX Mode
Use the supplied 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm stereo audio cable to connect the headphone socket of an audio device and the AUX IN socket of the unit.
The light of button will switch o and the unit will voice “LINE IN mode”.
• To increase or decrease the volume, press + / – .
Disconnect the audio cable to enable Bluetooth® mode.
3.5 mm to 3.5 mm stereo audio cable (included)
•Do not connect the unit to the device with output power more than 1V (e.g. DVD player) to avoid sound distortion. You may refer to the instruction manual of the external audio device for its output power.
•While using Stereo Speaker Connection (refer to p.13 for details), make sure you connect the 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm stereo audio cable to the AUX IN socket of the LEFT speaker The Bluetooth button will ash and the L Channel Indicator the of the left speak will light up.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Unit
Ensure the unit is fully removed the cables from the unit before cleaning.
• To clean the unit, wipe the case with a slightly moist, lint-free cloth.
• Do not use any cleaning uids containing alcohol, ammonia or
abrasives.
• Do not spray aerosol at or near the unit.

Hints and Tips
If a problem does occur, it may often be due to something very minor. The following table contains various tips. If you require additional assistance,

Problem Solution
No power. • The battery may be exhausted. Connect
the USB cable and plug into a USB port of a computer which is turned on.
• Ensure that the unit is switched on.
No Sound. • Ensure that the unit is switched on.
• Check the volume level of the unit.
• Check the sound input source.
There is no stereo connection between both speakers.
• Before connecting your audio device to the speaker, make sure that both speakers are switched on and connected for stereo connection.
• While using AUX mode, make sure that you connect the 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm stereo audio cable to the AUX IN socket of the LEFT speaker.
Sound is distorted. • Volume is too high. Adjust the volume control.
Not charging. • Ensure that the micro-USB charging cable is
correctly connected with the unit.

Problem Solution
I cannot nd “SP-AT3-X” on my Bluetooth® device.
• Ensure that the unit is switched on.
• Ensure that the Bluetooth® function is
activated on your Bluetooth® device.
• The unit has a Bluetooth® function that can receive a signal up to 10 metres. Keep a distance within 10 metres between the unit and your Bluetooth® device.
Voice interrupted in Bluetooth® mode.
• Ensure that the unit and Bluetooth® device is connected within 10 metres.
• Ensure that no obstruction between the unit and the Bluetooth® device.
No Sound in LINE IN mode.
• Ensure the audio cable is properly connected.
The unit does not respond when pressing any buttons.
• The unit may freeze up during use. Switch the unit o and then on again to reset the unit.
• Press the RESET button to restart the unit.
