GENERAL PRECAUTIONS!
• Read carefully the whole installation instructions before mounting all the
provided accessories.
• Do not drop or subject the product
to
strong vibration or shock.
• Do not let water, sand, dust, or other foreign objects enter the product.
•
To
operate the devices while driving, be sure to look ahead carefully or
you may be involved
in
a traffic accident.
• Do not raise the volume level too much, as this will block outside sounds,
making driving dangerous.
• Stop the car before performing any complicated operations.
• If you have parked the car for a long time
in
hot or cold weather, wait
until the temperature
in
the car becomes normal before operating the
devices.
Changes or modifications not approved by JVC could void the user's
authority to operate the equipment.

"Professional" Installation
Professional installation requires an experienced technician to install this product
in
your vehicle, and provides advice for selecting a suitable mounting location,
installation
of
the antenna, and routing all the necessary wires and cables.
• "Professional" Installation- Type (A)
Professional installation-type (A) is for car radios with an AUX-IN (audio input)
function. Please locate the AUX-IN (audio input)'s location and determine
whether it is
in
front
or
rear
of
the car radio.
Note!
AUX-IN port can be either at the front or the rear side of the car radio.

Note! Some motorized vehicle antennas will automatically retract down when AUX-IN
mode
is
selected. Under the mentioned circumstances, signal reception will become
poor and the sound quality will
be
poor. Vehicles equipped with a built-in windshield
antenna, will automatically turn off when switching the car radio to AUX-IN mode.

• Insert the connection unit's input antenna into the rear port
of
the car radio.
• Be sure to turn off the car radio before connecting the audio cable

Linking Your Car Radio with a FM Transmitter
You
can rather choose the provided dash mount when your car radio does not
include AUX input. Your HD Radio receiver's ANT.-OUT accepts a wired
FM
Transmitter output with the connection unit. The connection unitisthen switched
the signal to your car radio.

Installing the Dash Mount
1.
Pick a smooth location when you
can easily access your HD Radio
.
receiver.
2.
Be sure the area you select to
install the dash mount does not
obstruct any vehicle features,
warning lights
or
safety devices
such as airbags.
3.
Peel off the protective backing on
the adhesive disk and press the
disk firmly into the location.
4. Dock the HD Radio receiver
on
the dash mount.
