• Wanneer de hardeschijfventilator op een harde schijf moet worden bevestigd die reeds in de pc-behuizing is gemonteerd, demonteer dan de harde schijf.

• Bevestig de hardeschijfventilator met 4 schroeven op de onderzijde van de harde schijf. Positioneer de hardeschijfventilator dusdanig dat deze, indien mogelijk, niet uitsteekt boven de voorste en achterste rand van de harde schijf.

• Monteer de harde schijf weer in de pc, bevestig deze met schroeven (schroeven mogen niet te lang zijn, schroefdraadlengte max. 4-5 mm, totale schroeflengte ca. 6-7 mm; anders kan de elektronica van de harde schijf worden beschadigd!).

Omdat de hoogte is vergroot, is er meer ruimte nodig. Eventueel moet u andere apparaten demonteren en op een andere plaats weer inbouwen.

Let erop dat tussen het schoepenrad van de ventilator en het daaronder liggende apparaat (bijv. de pc-behuizing) minimaal 1 cm tussenruimte moet blijven, zodat verse lucht ongehinderd kan worden aangezogen.

• Sluit de voedingskabel van de ventilator met een vrije 5,25"stroomstekker aan op uw pc-netvoeding; of sluit deze aan tussen de voedingsstekker van de netvoeding en de bus van de harde schijf.

Let op de juiste aansluiting van de lintkabel van de harde schijf. Pen 1 heeft meestal een kleurencode, pen 1 op de harde schijf bevindt zich naast de voedingsbus.

• Plaats het behuizingsdeksel weer op de pc en schroef het vast.

• Sluit de pc weer aan op het lichtnet en schakel hem in.

Der Festplatten-Kühler "HD-815" ist zur Befestigung an der Elektronikseite (Unterseite der Festplatte) einer 3.5"-Festplatte vorgesehen.

Er bläst dort Frischluft auf die Platine.

3. Sicherheitshinweise

Bei Berührung und beim Einbau/Ausbau sind geeignete Schutzmaßnahmen gegen statische Aufladung zu treffen (z.B. Erdungsband, nichtleitende Unterlage usw.).

Gehen Sie vorsichtig mit dem Produkt um - durch Stösse, Schläge oder dem Fall aus geringer Höhe wird es beschädigt.

4. Einbau

Falls Sie keine Fachkenntnisse für den Einbau besitzen, so lassen Sie den Einbau von einer FACHKRAFT oder einer entsprechenden Fachwerkstatt durchführen! Durch unsachgemässen Einbau wird sowohl das Produkt als auch alle angeschlossenen Geräte beschädigt.

Vorsicht, Lebensgefahr!

Schalten Sie den PC, in den der Festplatten-Kühler eingebaut werden soll und alle angeschlossenen Geräte aus und trennen Sie alle Geräte von der Netzspannung, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker! Das Ausschalten über den Netzschalter genügt nicht!

• Verbinden Sie den PC mit der Netzspannung und schalten Sie ihn ein.

• Startet ihr PC nicht korrekt, so überprüfen Sie alle Kabelverbindungen und Einstellungen.

5. Entsorgung

Entsorgen Sie das unbrauchbar gewordene Produkt gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen Vorschriften.

6. Tips und Hinweise

• Die Stromstecker des Lüfters ist durchgeschleift, es geht also kein Stromanschluss des PC-Netzteils verloren.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass beim Betrieb des Lüfters keine Kabel in die Lüfterschaufeln gelangen. Neben der Gefahr, dass sich das Lüfterrad nicht mehr drehen kann, könnte durch die Beschädigung der Kabel ein Kurzschluss das komplette Gerät zerstören (z.B. das PC-Netzteil und alle angeschlossenen Geräte)!

Sichern Sie deshalb alle Kabel in der Nähe des Lüfters mit Kabelbindern.

• Der Einbau sollte so erfolgen, dass keine Geräte die Ansaugöffnung verdecken. Bauen Sie also die Festplatte mit daran geschraubtem Festplatten-Kühler nicht direkt über ein anderes Gerät ein. Ein Zwischenraum von mind. ca. 1cm sollte vorhanden sein.

Eteindre le PC devant recevoir le ventilateur pour disque dur ainsi que tous les appareils raccordés et les débrancher du secteur en retirant les fiches des prises de courant. Il ne suffit pas d'éteindre les appareils en mettant l'interrupteur secteur sur la position ARRET.

• Ouvrir le boîtier du PC et retirer le couvercle avec précautions.

• Si le ventilateur pour disque dur doit être monté sur un disque dur déjà intégré dans le boîtier d'un PC, déposer tout d'abord le disque dur.

• Visser ensuite le ventilateur pour disque dur à l'aide de 4 vis sur la face inférieure du disque dur. Sélectionner l'orientation de sorte que, dans la mesure du possible, le ventilateur pour disque dur ne déborde pas de l'arête avant ou arrière du disque dur.

• Remonter maintenant le disque dur dans le PC, le visser à l'aide de 4 vis (les vis ne doivent pas être trop longues ; longueur de filetage maxi de l'ordre de 4 – 5 mm, longueur totale de la vis de l'ordre de 6 – 7 mm, sous peine d'endommager l'électronique du disque dur !).

L'augmentation de la hauteur du disque dur se traduit par un encombrement plus important, et il se peut donc qu'il faille déposer d'autres appareils et les remonter ailleurs.

Veiller à respecter un espace minimal de l'ordre de 1 cm entre la roue du ventilateur et l'appareil situé au-dessus (ou par rapport au boîtier du PC) afin de ne pas entraver l'aspiration d'air frais.

• If the hard disk fan is to be installed on a hard disk already fitted in the PC case, remove the hard disk.

• Secure the hard disk fan to the underside of the hard disk using four screws. If possible, align the hard disk fan so that it does not project beyond the front or rear edge of the hard disk.

• Refit the hard disk in the PC and secure it in place using four screws (the screws must not be too long, maximum length of thread approx. 4-5 mm, total length screw approx. 6-7 mm; otherwise the electronics of the hard disk can be damaged!).

More space is now needed because of the increased height. If necessary, remove other equipment and refit it in a different place.

Make sure that there is a clearance of at least 1 cm between the lower rotor and the unit underneath (or the PC case), so that the intake of fresh air is unimpeded.

• Connect the power lead of the fan to your PC power supply assembly using a free 5.25" power connector or plug it in between the power connector of the power supply assembly and socket of the hard disk.

Make sure that the ribbon cable of the hard disk is correctly seated. Pin 1 of the cable is usually colour-coded, pin 1 on the hard disk lies next to the power socket.

• Replace the cover on the PC case and tighten the screws.

• Connect the PC to the power supply and switch it on.

• If your PC does not boot up correctly, check all cable connections and settings.

5. Verwijdering

Zorg ervoor dat het onbruikbare product wordt verwerkt volgens de geldige wettelijke voorschriften.

6. Tips en instructies

• De voedingsstekker van de ventilator is doorgelust; er gaat dus geen voedingsaansluiting van de pc-netvoeding verloren.

• Zorg ervoor dat er geen kabels in het schoepenrad kunnen komen als de ventilator is ingeschakeld. Naast het gevaar dat het schoepenrad van de ventilator niet kan draaien, kan door een kortsluiting als gevolg van een beschadiging van de kabel het volledige apparaat defect raken (bijv. de pc-netvoeding en alle aangesloten apparaten)!

Bevestig daarom alle kabels nabij de ventilator met kabelstrips.

• De inbouw moet dusdanig worden uitgevoerd dat apparaten de inlaatopening niet kunnen blokkeren. Monteer dus de harde schijf met de daaraan bevestigde hardeschijfventilator niet direct boven een ander apparaat. Er moet een tussenruimte van minstens ca. 2 cm aanwezig zijn.

Eine andere Verwendung als zuvor beschrieben führt zu Beschädigungen dieses Produkts, ausserdem ist dies mit Gefahren wie z.B. Kurzschluss, Brand, elektrischer Schlag etc. verbunden. Das gesamte Produkt darf nicht geändert bzw. umgebaut werden. Aufkleber auf dem Produkt dürfen nicht entfernt werden.

Het product heeft scherpe randen en uitstekende delen - er bestaat een blessurerisico bij aanraking. Het product hoort niet thuis in kinderhanden!

Bij contact en tijdens het (de)monteren moeten geschikte beveiligingsmaatregelen tegen statische oplading worden getroffen (bijv. aardingsband, niet-geleidende ondergrond enz.).

Ga voorzichtig om met het product - door stoten, schokken of de val vanaf een geringe hoogte wordt het beschadigd.

4. Inbouw

Mocht u niet beschikken over de vakkennis voor het inbouwen van de kaart, laat dit dan door een VAKMAN of een overeenkomstig vakkundig bedrijf uitvoeren! Door ondeskundige aansluiting worden zowel het product als uw computer en alle aangesloten apparaten beschadigd.

Voorzichtig, levensgevaar!

Schakel de computer uit waarin de hardeschijfventilator moet worden ingebouwd, alsmede alle aangesloten apparaten en koppel alle apparaten los van het lichtnet. Verwijder de netstekker uit de contactdoos! Uitschakelen via de netschakelaar is niet voldoende!

• Open de pc-behuizing van de computer en verwijder het behuizingsdeksel.

• Öffnen Sie das PC-Gehäuse und nehmen Sie den Gehäusedeckel ab.

• Wenn der Festplatten-Kühler auf eine bereits im PC-Gehäuse eingebaute Festplatte montiert werden soll, so bauen Sie die Festplatte aus.

• Schrauben Sie dann den Festplatten-Kühler mit 4 Schrauben auf der Unterseite der Festplatte fest. Wählen Sie die Orientierung so, dass der Festplatten-Kühler nach Möglichkeit nicht über den vorderen und hinteren Rand der Festplatte ragt.

• Bauen Sie nun die Festplatte wieder in den PC ein, schrauben Sie sie mit 4 Schrauben fest (Schrauben dürfen nicht zu lang sein, Gewindelänge max. ca. 4-5mm, gesamte Schraubenlänge ca. 67mm; sonst könnte die Festplatten-Elektronik beschädigt werden!).

Durch die jetzt vergrösserte Höhe ist mehr Platz nötig. Eventuell müssen Sie weitere Geräte ausbauen und an anderer Stelle wieder einbauen.

Achten Sie darauf, dass zwischen Lüfterrad und dem darunter liegendem Gerät (bzw. dem PC-Gehäuse) mind. ca. 1cm Abstand eingehalten wird, damit frische Luft störungsfrei angesaugt werden kann.

• Verbinden Sie das Stromkabel des Lüfters mit einem freien 5.25"Stromstecker Ihres PC-Netzteils; oder Sie stecken es zwischen Stromstecker des Netzteils und Buchse der Festplatte.

Achten Sie auch auf den korrekten Sitz des Flachbandkabels der Festplatte. Pin 1 des Kabels ist meist farblich markiert, Pin 1 auf der Festplatte liegt neben der Strombuchse.

• Setzen Sie den Gehäusedeckel wieder auf den PC und schrauben Sie ihn fest.

Correct gebruik

De hardeschijfventilator "HD-815" is bedoeld voor bevestiging aan de elektronicazijde (onderzijde van de harde schijf) van een 3.5"harde schijf.

Daar blaast hij verse lucht over de printplaat.

Een andere toepassing dan hiervoor beschreven leidt tot beschadiging van het product en is bovendien verbonden met gevaren, zoals bijv. kortsluiting, brand, elektrische schokken enz. Het complete product mag niet worden veranderd resp. omgebouwd! Stickers op het product mogen niet worden verwijderd.

Correct use

The HD-815 hard disk fan is designed for mounting on the electronic side (lower side of the hard disk) of a 3.5" hard disk.

It blows fresh air onto the card.

• Raccorder le câble d'alimentation du ventilateur à un connecteur d'alimentation 5.25" libre du boîtier d'alimentation du PC. Il est également possible de l'intercaler entre le connecteur du boîtier d'alimentation et la douille du disque dur.

Veiller au bon positionnement du câble en nappe du disque dur. La broche 1 du câble porte généralement un repère de couleur. La broche 1 sur le disque dur est située à côté de la douille d'alimentation.

• Remonter le couvercle du boîtier sur le PC et le revisser.

• Rebrancher le PC dans une prise de courant et le mettre en marche.

Damage due to non-compliance with these Operating Instructions renders the warranty void. We accept no liability for secondary damage!

This product has sharp edges and protruding parts and there is a danger of injury on contact. Keep the product away from children!

Suitable measures against static charging are to be taken when touching and installing/removing (e.g. grounding strap, non-conducting support etc.).

Handle the product with care, it will be damaged by impacts, blows or a fall even from a low height.

4. Installation

If you lack the technical knowledge to install it, have the unit installed by a SPECIALISTor a suitable repair facility! Incorrect installation will damage both the product and any equipment connected to it.

Caution, lethal danger!

Switch off the PC in which the hard disk fan is to be fitted and all connected equipment and disconnect all the equipment from the mains power, withdraw the mains plug. Switching off at the mains switch is not sufficient!

• Open the PC case and remove the case cover.

6. Hints and tips

• The power plug of the fan is looped through and therefore no power connection of the PC power supply is lost.

• Make sure when operating the fan that no cables or leads are drawn into the fan blades. In addition to the danger that the fan impeller can be jammed, the damage to the cable can cause a short-circuit which will damage the complete unit (e.g. the PC power supply assembly and all connected equipment!).

Therefore make sure that all cables and leads in the vicinity of the fan are secured with cable ties.

• The installation should be such that no items of equipment cover the inlet opening. The hard disk with the hard disk fan bolted to if must therefore not be fitted directly above any other equipment. An intermediate space of at least 1 cm should be provided.
