Plug one side of the cable to the Network Adaptor, the other side to the WAN port of
the GATEWAY. Set the PC address to be 192.168.1.2, open IE, and Browse
192.168.1.10
5.1 Installation
1. Using a simple RJ – 45 straight cable types to connect the ATA to a host or
PC.
2. Next try to do a ping test to the following ATA. If the ATA is connected we will
able to get such responses such as below:
3. The default IP address of the WAN Port is 192.168.1.10.Next we will able to
change the IP Address of the LAN accordingly.
4. Click the to open the Internet Explorer browser. Next input the IP address
of the desired port into the following page.
5. There will be password and login name in the configuration page.
6. Therefore please key in Username: admin and Password: voip for the
security purposes.

5.1 IVR
In order to use the IVR the caller shall pick up the phone and dial four consecutive
asterisks ( **** ). Follow by key in the command code.

6.1 Home
There are few indicators on the HOME page:-
1. System uptime: Specifies the amount of time system has been up. (Time reset
whenever it rebooted.)
2. LAN IP Address: Indicates the IP address of your LAN.
3. MAC address: MAC address is the address of you MAC.
4. Security: Password which is configured in the “System” section.
5. Application code version: Indicate the version of the application code which
currently in used.
6. Download code version: Indicate the version of the download code which
currently in used.

6.2 WAN
6.2.1 WAN Status
In the WAN Status we will able to view the network settings:-
Interface status:
1. Enabled: “Yes – Indicate the WAN is in operating mode.
2. Service: Indicate the system operate either “Routed or bridged” mode.
3. Protocol: The protocol which use for data transferring. (I.e. Ethernet)
4. Interface status: Indicate the WAN status either “Up” or “Down”.
Network settings:
1. Dynamic IP Assignment: “Yes” or “No. Either the host or the user is using DHCP
protocol – Auto Define IP Address
2. IP address: The IP Address for the devices.
3. MAC address: The devices MAC address – Factory Define
4. Subnet Mask: Indicates the mask of your IP Address.
5. Default Gateway: The IP address of the gateway. The gateway IP could be
retrieved from DHCP offer in DHCP mode, or be set up manually in fixed IP mode.
6. DNS address: Refers to the address of your dynamic name server, if applicable.
7. VLAN: VLAN tag value encoded in the Ethernet header in all outgoing packets.
8. Priority Tag: priority tag value encoded in the Ethernet header in outgoing
packets.
9. Broadcast Limit& Multicast limit: Please refer to the WAN configuration.

6.2.2 WAN Settings
Device operating mode:
1. We can choose either’ Router’ or ‘Bridge’ operating mode.
2. You will check either ‘Obtain WAN configuration dynamically’ or ‘Specify fixed
WAN configuration.’
3. 2 optional operating mode: - ‘Obtain WAN configuration dynamically’, the
information is detected automatically through DHCP or Fixed WAN
Configuration – manually set
4. If you choose ‘ Specify fixed WAN configuration’ , you are required to enter
the IP address, subnet mask, IP of the Gateway, and IP of the DNS server, if
applicable.
Multicast limits:
1. Broadcast limit: The value specifies the maximum limit on the percentage of
broadcast packets, which will be bridged to the destination interface (as a
percentage of the source side bandwidth)
2. Multicast limit: The value specifies the maximum limit on the percentage of
multicast packets, which will be bridged to the destination interface (as a
percentage of the source side bandwidth).

6.2.3 PPPoE
1. Enable PPPoE: ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, to enable/disable PPPoE.
2. Under’ Authentication’, you enter the username and password given by your
ISP.
3. Settings:
Idle Timeout: idle timeout before PPP connection is closed due to
inactivity
Echo Timeout: the duration between PPP echo requests being sent to
the server.
Echo count: the number of unanswered PPP echo requests before the
PPP connection is closed.
Service name: PPPoE service name.
AC name: PPPoE AC name.

6.2.4 MAC Spoofing
WAN MAC address (spoofed)
1. This feature available when devices are under the router mode.
2. The spoofed MAC address to be used by the device’s WAN interfaces, the
Ethernet address of the outgoing packets from the WAN interface would be
replaced with this MAC address.
3. If blank, the WAN interfaces will use the value of MAC address of the devices.
6.3 LAN
6.3.1 LAN Settings
1. Network settings – Include the IP address and subnet mask of the LAN
2. Multicast limits:
Broadcast limit: the value specifies the maximum limit on the percentage of
broadcast packets, which will be bridged to the destination interface (as a
percentage of the source side bandwidth) 1%- 100%

6.3.2 DHCP
These configuration parameters are for the device’s internal DHCP server.
1. Server setting: ‘Enabled’ or ‘Disabled’, to enable/disable DHCP features.
Client IP addresses range: minimum and maximum limit on the DHCP IP address range
2. Client Network Information
Domain name: LAN domain name provided to DHCP clients
DNS server: This statically assigned DNS server IP address accordingly to
primary and secondary DNS provided.
3. Static Address Assignment:
Up to eight static DHCP address assignments can be configured. To add a static
IP assignment, enter the LAN device’s host name (must be unique in the private
network) or MAC address. Next specify the internal address to be assigned and
press the ‘Add’ button.
4. Save the following settings by clicking “Save DHCP Settings”

6.3.3 Port Forwarding
1. Under ‘Reserved ports’, specified are the ports, which cannot be forwarded to the
LAN.
2. Under’ Port forwarding to LAN’, you enter the specifications, which you will be
forwarding to the LAN, including port range, protocol (both, TCP or UDP), and
destination IP address.
Click on ‘Save NART settings’ to save your configuration.

6.4 SIP
6.4.1 Server
1. Under ‘SIP Server Configuration’. You enter the server address, port, domain
name, and exploration time unit, if you choose to send a registration request with
an expiration time.
2. Gateway settings:
Dial plan: refer to appendix of this guide
#use as a quick dial function: if this box is checked, the dialed digits would be
sent out when the ‘#’ key is pressed.
Enable # to be recognized as dial number: allow the ‘*’ key to appear in the
INVITE request URI.
Enable * to be recognized as dial number: allow the ‘*’ key to appear in the
INVITE request URI.
For the line on the endpoint, enter the line phone number, caller-ID name,
signaling port value, authentication username and password, and select if AEC is
to be performed on this line.

6.4.2 Extensions
1. Support PRACK method: enable SIP PRACK support. Therefore the user will
able to send the PRACK or its own acknowledgement.
2. Encode SIP URI with user parameter: encode user=phone parameter in SIP
URI.
3. Send INVITE with timer header: Encode timer header in all INVITE requests
The page used for disposing Type-of-Service/Diffserv value, the digital will be used
on the beginning of each IP for transmission of SIP and RTP. If no special
requirement about the digital, please enter either 00 or leave it blank.

Conditional Call Forwarding
Enter *70#### and hearDialtone , enter guest phone number, hang up after you hear
the Confirm tone
After the seconds you set on web page, an unanswer incoming call will be transfer to
the guest phone number.
To enable this function, check the web page -> sip extensions -> conditional call
Forwarding timer checkbox.
Call Forwarding On
Enter *72####and hear Dialtone , enter guest phone number, hang up after you hear
the Confirm tone
Any incoming call will be immediately transfer to guest number.

Preset the speed dial number in the User 1 Settings. Enter *68* follow by pressing
1 (Speed dial number, Range from 1-8)

6.5 CODECS
1. CODECS: Configure the silence suppression to your desired settings.
2. Packetization: Configure the packet sending increments.
3. Jitter buffer: Configure the timing of the voice buffering.
4. Selection between adaptive or fixed jitter buffer. Default=ADAPTIVE
5. Set the adaptive jitter buffer maximum play out delay. Default=100ms.
6. Or fixed jitter buffer play out delay, Default=40ms.
7. Whether or not to automatically switch from an adaptive jitter buffer to a fixed
jitter buffer upon fax/modem tone detection. Click on ‘Save CODEC configuration’
to save the configurations made.

downloader mode if the main application is executing, and proceed with the ROM file

Appendix, Dial Plan………..…………………..…………………………….
The H.323 and SIP code will allow provisioning (via web browser) of the dial plan. A
dial plan gives the unit a map to determine when a complete number has been
entered and should be passed to the gatekeeper for resolution into an IP address.
