Jupio Octo Charger - JBC0080

Thank you for purchasing this outstanding Jupio quality product!
The Jupio Octo Charger is designed to charge Nickel Metal Hydride

(Ni-MH) and Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) AA and AAA type rechargeable
batteries. Please note that the Jupio Octo Charger must not be used
with Alkaline, Carbon Zinc, Lithium or any other type of batteries other
than Ni-MH or Ni-Cd.

Features:

1. Recharges from 1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 AA or AAA type Ni­MH or Ni-Cd batteries at one time.

2. LCD Display Screen indicates charging status.

3. Powered by the supplied VDE plug when used with
household current or use with a vehicle battery adaptor.

4. The Microprocessor Control protects batteries with a
combination of automatic detection circuit, an integrated
timer and temperature controller.

5. LED indicator shows charging status, trickle charge and
battery defect detection signal.

Gebruiksinstructies:

1. Insert 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 AA or AAA type Ni-MH or Ni-Cd

batteries into the battery bay of the Jupio Octo Charger. Never
mix different kind of batteries.

2. Batteries must be inserted in the correct polarity before

charging. Do so by matching the positive symbol on the battery
with the positive symbol on the battery bay of the charger.

3. Plug in the Jupio Octo Charger in the wallsocket. De

corresponding LED indicators will start to blink. The charging
process has now started.

4. If you want to use the Jupio Octo Charger in your car, please

use the supplied DC and connect it to the cigarettelighter. The
other end of the cable can connect to Jupio Octo Charger.

5. When the bars on LCD Display Screen stop flashing, it

indicates that batteries are fully charged.

6. Always unplug the Octo Charger when not in use.

Defective Battery Detection:

When you insert a battery in the Jupio Octo Charger the Jupio
Octo Charge will immediately check te battery. When the battery
is not suitable to be charged the LED indicator will show this

Charging Current:

The total eight charging channels are divided into two equal
parts. 4 on the left and 4 on the right. The charging current
depends on the numbers of batteries inserted in the Jupio Octo
Charger. Please look up the output current in the image below.

Important Safety Instructions:

1. Before using the Jupio Octo Charger, read the instructions
carefully.

2. The Jupio Octo Charger is intended for use with Ni-MH or
Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries only. Attempting to charge
any other types of batteries will cause personal injury and
damage to the charger.

3. Do not mix battery types.

4. Do not expose the Jupio Octo Charger to rain or moisture.
Designed and intended for indoor use only.

5. Always unplug the Jupio Octo Charger when not in use.

6. Never use an extension cord or any other attachment not
recommended by the manufacturer. Doing so could result
in fire, electrical shock or personal injury.

7. Do not operate the charger if it has been subject to shock
or damage. If subjected to shock or damage have it
serviced by a qualified service technician.

8. Do not disassemble the Jupio Octo Charger. Incorrect
reassembly may result in a risk of electrical shock or fire.

9. Unplug the Jupio Octo Charger from an outlet before
attempting maintenance or cleaning.
