INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
FlexConnect™ Architectural Linear Lighting System
INSTALLATION FOR SM1, SM2, SM4, SM5, SM6
Step 1: Draw a straight line along the intended path of channel. Line up the small mounting groove on the
channel with the straight line. For SM4 / SM5, drill a hole thru the mounting groove. Insert and tighten with
a #6 pan head screw (provided by others) onto the channel. For SM1/SM2/SM6, drill a countersink hole
through the mounting groove. Insert and tighten with a #6 flat head screw (provided by others) onto the
channel. Recommend to drill three holes, equally spaced apart.
Note: Channel has different profiles as shown, but installation process is the same.
Step 2: Apply by placing one end of the strip to one end of the channel, press and slide your finger along
the entire length, make sure the LED strip adheres to the channel groove firmly. Leave approximately ½" of
distance from each end.
Step 3: Insert the wire connector into one end of the DanaLite FlexConnect LED strip, making sure that the
connector is firmly engaged. Place the end cap on the channel and secure with the supplied end cap
screw. On the end cap with the wire connector, tear off the knock out tab with a plier, route the wire
through
complete.

INSTALLATION FOR SM3
Step 1: Draw a straight line along the intended path of channel. Line up the (2) included mounting clips with
the straight line. Drill a hole through the mounting surface. Insert and tighten a flat head screw onto the
mounting clip. Snap the channel onto the mounting clips.
Follow previous Step 2 to complete the installation.
