HOW TO CHANGE THE PROPELLERS
Unscrew the cover. To do this, turn it counter clockwise.
The propellers cannot be placed incorrectly since their position determines how the air flow is expelled and, therefore, stability and the success or failure of the take-off depend on that.
If you placed the propellers incorrectly after some small impact that required their replacement or because they broke or disengaged in some way from the drone and you had to reattach them, you will notice the following:
The drone does not take-off, even when applying the correct power.
The nose or the tail move upwards, but the drone does not take off. The drone moves forward or backwards but fails to take-off.
You cannot use 3 propellers of the same type. There are 2 different types of propellers and these have to be placed crosswise (as shown in the illustration above).
Notice what type of propeller you need to replace. There are type A or type B propellers.

PRECAUTIONS FOR BATTERY CHARGING
The battery takes about 70 minutes to charge for a range of 6-8 minutes per battery.
7
CHARGE OF THE BATTERY OF THE DRONE
1. Connect one end of the charging cable (included) to the computer’s USB port, and the other to the drone’s battery.
2. When the light stops blinking the charging process is finished
PRECAUTIONS FOR BATTERY CHARGING
1. During charging, place the battery and charger in a dry, ventilated area away from sources
of intense heat or flammable products.
2. During charging, disconnects the battery of the drone. It is important that the battery
charge be supervised by an adult to prevent accidents.
3. Do not charge the battery as soon as you nish ying. Wait for the battery to cool
down, otherwise the battery may swell, explode or burn.
4. ensured you to use the original USB charger provided with the drone. When you’ve used
enough battery or see it’s a little swollen, exchange the battery for another.
5. A battery that is not used for a long period of time lose their charge.
Charge or discharge a battery often shortens its lifetime.
BATTERY MAINTENANCE
1. The battery must be placed in a dry, ventilated place at room temperature between 18 and 25º C.
2. To make the most of the life of your battery, avoid performing repeated loads or ecessivas
discharges.
3. When you are storing the battery for a long period of time, and first charges the battery
with the umbrella at least 50-60% of the total load allowed.
4. If you are not using it for more than a month, it is recommended to measure it the battery
voltage each month to assure you that is not below 3V. Otherwise back to point number 3.
The battery takes about 70 minutes to charge for a range of 6-8 minutes per battery.

PRECAUTIONS
1. When the transmitter’s LED stays on but the drone’s LED blinks slowly, it is an indication
that the synchronization has not been successful. Turn the transmitter and drone off and perform the “start-up” again from the beginning.
2. If when you start flying, the drone does not maintain stability, land, turn off the transmitter
and the drone and synchronize again paying close attention to the drone being placed on a flat, horizontal surface to the floor.
3. When the drone’s LED slowly blinks, it means that the battery is running low. Land and put
the drone’s battery to charge with the USB charger provided.
TIP:
When you synchronize your VR NANODRONE AUTOFLIGHT make sure it is on a flat and horizontal surface, so the flight is stable. If the drone moves in an undesirable direction, place it on a flat surface and push the self-trimming button (page 4)
1. Turn on the VR NANODRONE AUTOFLIGHT You will find the ON button at the bottom of the
drone, move the switch to On and leave the drone blinking on a flat surface.
3. Raise power level to the max, then, lower it to the lowest position.
The transmitter will issue a prolonged beep which is the signal that transmitter and drone are synchronized. Lights will stop blinking
2. Turn on transmitter by pressing the on/off button. The
transmitter will beep 3 times and the red LED will come on
and keep blinking.
4. Push both levers simultaneously and diagonally inward and downward, as shown in the image. The drone unlocks, and the motors will be launched. Just push the left lever up, so the drone rises. Keep in mind that the drone rises between 1 and 3 meters. To avoid collision, give the power lever down a few taps to stop the climb.

FLIGHT SPEEDS
When you press the button, the drone will change its speed and offer greater power. So the drone will move faster and be more sensitive to the slightest of movements we make with the control sticks. More power also helps the drone handle strong gusts of wind.
How to change speeds
TIP: If you are learning to fly, start with Speed 1 and follow the exercises explained in this manual until you master them. For static aerial recording, use speed 1 and perform very smooth movements with the steering controls, so that the drone moves in a progressive manner. If you need to record a moving object, use speed 2.
While the drone is operating in the normal way, without headless, the pilot must master which is the front and rear of the drone, as well as the side, so that, during the flight provides the correct order of movements. In this flight mode when the drone face you it is to know that the controls are reversed. The VR NANODRONE
AUTOFLIGHT integrates a complete control system that is much simpler to piloting.
When the headless mode is on, the direction of the drone does not influence the movements since the drone moves towards its own direction. To activate the mode absolute control press the button
shown on the right side image. To disable this mode, simply press it again.
HEADLESS MODE
TRIMMING
11
It is normal for a drone to never stay in a fixed place. Although it is rare, the drone may sometimes perform unrequested movements without your direct intervention, moving in any of the four directions, rotating on its axis, or even moving up or down without being given any order. Therefore, there is the Trimming feature, an adjustment that we can make from the transmitter so that the drone remains as steady as possible.
When the Drone is moving in one direction, we should press the trimming button for the opposite direction, as many times as necessary to correct that unwanted movement.
TRIMMING OF TURNS
LEFT RIGHT
When the drone rotates in an uncontrolled way, you can correct the flight by pressing the right or left turn trimming button, as appropriate.
TRIMADO
TRIMMING OF LATERAL
DISPLACEMENT
When the drone tends to move to the sides incorrectly, you can correct the flight course by pressing the left or right movement trimming button, as appropriate.
TRIMMING OF FORWARD AND BAC-
KWARD
When the drone advances and recedes incorrectly, you can correct the flight by pressing the forward or reverse trimming button, as appropriate.
TRIMMING
Press the “return home” button, the transmitter will beep and the drone will return in a straight line in the opposite direction to the one it had at the beginning of the flight. You can move the lever to the right to correct the course if the drone is off course. Press the “home” button again or move the lever to the right, the station will beep again and the drone will end the return.

RETURN HOME
ATTENTION: Please note that the drone takes its orientation reference considering its position at commissioning. If you fly the drone at start-up and place it behind you, when executing the “automatic return home” the drone will move away instead of towards you, since it will consider that you are flying towards the front versus its initial positioning.

HOW TO PLACE THE SMARTPHONE ON THE TRANSMITTER
BEGINNER MODE
On the smartphone app you will find an icon for taking pictures and another icon for recording videos. Additionally, from the icon you will be able to view the images and videos you have taken, which will be stored on the smartphone. You will need to enable the appropriate permissions to the APP when it requests it. When recording from the APP, the drone will send the image and video signal live, therefore, the video quality is 720x576 at variable FPS.
The VR NANODRONE AUTOFLIGHT includes a beginner mode. By pressing the button, the drone will limit the height to which it rises up to 3 meters. This way, if you are flying in large areas, you will retain control even if you are a beginner.
Even so, at the end of this manual you will find exercises to learn how to pilot this one and any other of our drones.

TIPS TO LEARN TO FLY
EXERCISE 1- HOW TO KEEP THE DRONE HOVERING UP IN THE AIR
Synchronize the station with the drone and get ready to take it off. Start the engines and give them power with the left lever with a continuous touch. The drone should rise and stay at a height thanks to its visual positioning feature. Use the left lever with soft touches to bring the drone to your eye level. This exercise is very easy to do thanks to the drone automatisms. Sometimes it is necessary to increase or reduce power, but these changes must always be subtle, with slight touches on the lever. You must adjust the lateral movements to keep the drone always in front of you. If you notice that the drone tends to move only in a particular direction, trim it. Although up to 8 meters it will remain almost fixed thanks to the visual positioning feature, above that height you will need to control position and lateral movements manually.
EXERCISE 2- HOW TO MOVE IN A PARTICULAR DIRECTION
Once static flight has been mastered, you can begin to move the drone around, and not simply in static mode. Maintaining the height, push the right lever forwards, and the drone will move towards that direction. After advancing a few meters, push the right lever down to make the drone move back to the starting point. As you move, you will have to correct the lateral displacement, so this exercise is very useful to learn not to hit walls or obstacles. So you have to focus to be able to pilot the drone in the direction of your choice, and, at the same time, you have to maintain the height. Therefore, in addition to these piloting movements, you have to pay attention to the power applied, increasing or reducing it as required so that the drone is always located at eye sight. The real challenge of this exercise is to dominate it in such a way that we can perform “eights” in the air using only the right lever, playing with all the movements controlled by that lever.
15
The third step involves the total mastering of the previous exercises. It is not easy, and it usually takes several weeks of practice to complete it successfully.
The exercise consists of a mixture of all the previous exercises. The idea is to perform “eights” (or the symbol of infinity) up in the air with your drone, but unlike exercise 2, in this case the drone should always make this movement facing the front.
To achieve this you must keep the drone at a given height. Then begin to move it diagonally using the right lever while you indicate the direction using the left lever. Once you reach the point at which you want to turn back, begin the rotation of the drone on its axis to the left. Once a 180 degree turn is completed, stop rotating it on its axis and start moving it towards your position. Once it gets closer, begin to rotate it to the right and repeat the process until obtaining several “eights” in a row.
TIPS TO LEARN TO FLY
EXERCISE 3 - HOW TO ROTATE
The rotation is the most complicated movement when it coms to flying drones. When rotating the drone, it is normal to get confused with the directions, since if the drone is facing front, the controls of the transmitter correspond to what you can see (if we turn to the right, the drone moves to the right). But if the drone is facing us, the controls are reversed, because when you command it to go right, it will go to its right, that is, your left.
The first step is to keep the drone at a given height, and using the very same power lever, to maintain that power while turning to the right or left. The drone will begin to rotate on its axis, and depending on how skilful you are, it will ascend or descend. The challenge is to perform circles fixed at a given point in height.
Now, let’s perform exercise 2 but now let’s perform the turn with the drone facing towards us. That is, to move forward normally, stop the drone, rotate it 180º, and bring it back.
The third step is to perform the first step but with a slower rotation and applying some frontal movement using the right lever. It is advisable to do this exercise in an open area, as the goal is to perform wide circles with the drone. You can activate the recording and stand in the central area of the circle you will be performing, so to record yourself at all times. Remember to do this in an open area with no obstacles.
FPV EXPERIENCE WITH THE VR DRONE GLASSES
The VR NANODRONE AUTOFLIGHT includes glasses to perform flight in FPV mode, i.e. control the drone by seeing what the drone camera sees. In this case, the camera transmits objects on a scale similar to the one seen by the eye. Therefore, the pilot will understand the surroundings, but he/she will have to get used to the image that is relayed, especially in confined spaces, since short distances are difficult to interpret.
To activate this mode you must follow the following steps:
1.- First, turn on the drone and perform the synchronization in a normal way. (page 8)
2.- Connect to the drone’s Wi-Fi (page 13) and open the application.
Now you can start piloting your drone. Keep in mind that if you record directly on your mobile while you are piloting, you will see loose connection at times, usually when the drone is more than 20 meters away or due to local interference.
The transmission of the image is done by Wi-Fi, so the further away the drone is from us, the greater delay we will see in the image. If the drone goes too far, we will lose the signal, so it is important that you do not keep the drone too far and know the area where you are piloting, so you can rescue your drone if you lose the signal and suffer a hard landing.
