6.1 Internal Peripheral Connectors

6.1.1 ATX Power Connector (ATX1)

The ATX power connector connects to an ATX power supply.

6.1.2 Battery Connector (BAT1, BT2)

This is connected to the system battery. The battery provides power to the system clock to retain the time when power is turned off.

The CPU power input connector provides power to the CPU.

6.1.4 DDR3 DIMM Slots (CHA_DIMM1, CHA_DIMM2, CHB_DIMM1, CHB_DIMM2)

The DIMM slots are for DDR3 DIMM memory modules.

6.1.5 Digital I/O Connector (DIO1)

The digital I/O connector provides programmable input and output for external devices. The digital I/O provides 4-bit output and 4-bit input.

The parallel port connector connects to a parallel port connector interface or some other parallel port device such as a printer.

6.1.13 PCIe Mini Card Slot(PCI1, PCI2, PCI3, PCI4)

The PCI slot enables a PCI expansion module to be connected to the board.

The PCIe x1 slot provides PCIe x1 signal for PCIe expansion cards.

6.2.1 Audio Connector (AUDIO_CV1)

The audio jacks connect to external audio devices.

Line In port (Light Blue): Connects a CD-ROM, DVD player, or other audio devices. Line Out port (Lime): Connects to a headphone or a speaker. With multi-channel configurations, this port can also connect to front speakers. Microphone (Pink): Connects a microphone.

6.2.2 Ethernet and USB Connector (LAN1_USB01, LAN2_USB23)

The LAN connector connects to a local network.
