The NJM2181 is a Pas sive Matrix T ruSurround
processor. It regenerates the full s urr ou nd s o undf ie ld directly
from any kinds of surround encoded stereo input (Lt/Rt)
signals.

After the internal passi ve m atrix circuit dec odes L t/Rt sign al
into 4 channel signals, the TruSurround virtualizer re­encodes them into 2 c hannel surround signals. Acc ordingly
any pre-processors decoding into 4 channel s ignals are not
required.

The NJM2181 also includes SRS 3D Stereo and 3D Mono,
and regenerates a 3D sound field from either normal L/R
input or monoural input.

The NJM2181 is suitable for TV, mini com ponent, CD radi o
cassette, multimedia speaker system, and others.
