IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
*These instructions are provided for your safety. It is very important that they are read completely before beginning installation.
*WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND INSTALLATION BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
*Turn off power at switch before replacing bulbs, making sure xture has had sufcient time to cool down.
*DO NOT subject the xture to any shock while lit as shattering of bulbs may result.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Shut off electrical supply from main fuse box / circuit breaker.
2. Unpack all parts, do not discard any parts.
3. Remove mounting plate (A) from backplate (D) by removing screws (H). Set screws (H) aside.
4. Remove decorative nuts (K) from backplate (D). Set decorative nuts (K) aside.
5. Guide wiring from wall outlet through center hole in mounting plate (A). Attach mounting plate (A) to outlet box using mounting
plate screws (C), provided.
6. Lift backplate (D) to mounting plate (A). Make proper elcetrical connection. A licensed electricial is recommended.
7. Wrap ground wire from xture (green in color) and ground wire from outlet box around green gound screw on mounting plate (A).
Tighten ground screw to secure position of ground wires.
8. Attach hot wire from xture (black in color or smooth side of wire) to hot wire from outlet box. Fasten wires together with wire nut
(L) and tightly wrap connection with electrical tape.
9. Attach neutral wire from xture (white in color or ribbed side of wire) to neutral wire from outlet box. Fasten wires together with
wire nut (L) and tightly wrap connection with electrical tape.
10. Slide backplate (D) over mounting plate (A). Insert screws (H) through holes (E) in backplate (D) into threaded holes (B) in
mounting plate (A).
11. Lift Shade (I) to backplate (D). Align holes in shade arms (J) with holes (G) in backplate (D). Insert decorative nuts through holes
in shade arm (J) into holes (G) in backplate (D), securing shade (I) to xture.
12. Insert one (1) 60 W MAX Type A bulb into socket (F).
13. See TEMPLATE INSTRUCTIONS for steps to hang ceramic parts.
Caution: To clean, use a soft cloth only. Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaners.

TEMPLATE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR

TO HANG CERAMIC PARTS:
1. Mount backplate and shade as described in ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Lay template on level surface.
3. Place ceramic body over outline on template. Make sure edges are aligned as close as possible.
4. Flip ceramic body and template over, being careful to keep items aligned.
5. Mark key hole locations on back of template with a felt tip pen.
6. Set ceramic body aside. Carefully push the tip of the ink pen through key hole marks on the back of the template.
7. Place template below backplate and shade to determine desired placement of ceramic body. Once desired position is established,
mark key hole placement from template onto wall.
8. Carefully drill holes at marked locations. Insert wall anchors into holes. Thread screws into openings in wall anchors. Note: Do not
thread screws all the way into wall anchors. Leave aproximately 1/4” between the screw head and the wall.
9. Carefully slide the key holes on the back of the ceramic body over the exposed screw heads.
10. Rotate template 180 degrees and repeat steps 2 - 7 for nial placement.
11. Place template above backplate and shade to determine desired placement of ceramic nial. Once desired position is established,
mark key hole placement from template onto wall.
12. Carefully drill hole at marked location. Insert wall anchor into hole. Thread screw into opening in wall anchor. Note: Do not
thread screw all the way into wall anchor. Leave aproximately 1/4” between the screw head and the wall.
13. Carefully slide the key hole on the back of the ceramic nial over the exposed screw head.
