Familiarity and compliance with the instructions given in this guide will ensure quick installation and correct use of the
appliance.
Read the sheet attentively before commencing installation, and be certain to follow the directions it contains, otherwise
the warranty could be invalidated and the performance and safety of the appliance jeopardized.
The installation sheet is an integral part of the product and must be given to the user.
It must be kept in a safe place and consulted carefully, as all of the warnings provide important information on safety
during installation, use and maintenance.
Incorrect installation can cause injury or damage to persons, animals or property, for which the manufacturer will not be
liable.
Installation must be carried out by skilled personnel according to current regulations.
The appliance must be used only for its intended purpose. Any other use is deemed improper and therefore dangerous.
The manufacturer declines any contractual or non-contractual liability for damages caused by errors in installation or use
of the appliance or failure to follow the instructions contained in this guide.

The technical directions for installation contained in this guide should be considered as basic requirements. Regulations
in some countries may be more restrictive; in this instance, comply fully with the regulations prevailing in the country of
installation (all local bylaws must be observed when installing the appliance, including those referring to national and
European standards).
Never use the appliance as an incinerator, or in way other than that for which it was designed.
Use only the fuels recommended, and no others.
Do not use liquid fuels.
In operation, the appliance will reach temperatures that can burn the skin; handle with care to avoid injury.
Do not make any unauthorised modification to the appliance.
Use only original replacement parts recommended by the manufacturer.
Acceptance of the machine by the user must be "total", including the sound level of operation, comparable to an electri-
cal appliance. Complaints for characteristics not indicated in this manual shall not be accepted.

In order to exercise the right to the warranty we invite you to fill in the Warranty Certificate and send it no later
than 30 (thirty) days from the date of the OBLIGATORY First Start up , to fax number +39 035-8359200
or by ordinary post.
The Warranty Certificate must be sent with a copy of the sales document.

Warranty Terms
The warranty starts from the date of the first Start up of the product and comes into effect only at the time when Jolly Mec receives the Warranty Certificate. Start up service must be done exclusively by an authorised Jolly Mec Technical Assistance Centre. The First Start up must take place within 60 days of the product purchase date; if the First Start up does not take place in the abovementioned terms, the validity of the warranty is automatically invalidated. The Warranty Certificate must be sent to Jolly Mec, duly completed in the appropriate spaces, no later than 30 days from the date of the first product Start up. In order to be entitled to service provisions and to replacement of spare parts under warranty, it is essential to attach a copy of the purchase document to the Warranty Certificate ; when requesting work, the relevant purchase document, giving details of the retailer, the date of purchase, the amount paid and the description of the product, must be submitted. If the customer requests work other than what is set out in these Warranty Terms, he/she must pay the fee specified in the current price list on that date. The warranty is not trans- ferable to third-parties and remains a personal warranty to the first purchaser. Warranty period of the boiler body of the air pellet stoves (Techna,Classe,Arte and Arte Acciaio) and for pellet cassette fireplaces (Jolly Star and Jolly Synthesis) is for 2 years, whereas for water pellet stoves (Techna,Classe,Arte and Arte Acciaio) is for 3 years. The warranty period for the individual mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic parts of the Jolly Mec products is 2 years. The warranty period for individual parts subject to wear and tear, namely all those parts that cannot be maintained which, as they are used, wear out and/or can no longer be used and which therefore need to be replaced after a certain period of operation, is limited to 4 months for cast-iron grids and 12 months for the heating element, fire base, trimmings and pellet basket. The glass and the Fire Flector coverings are not covered by warranty. Jolly Mec reserves the right to make changes in order to improve its products without prior notice. The applicable legislation, in the event of any dispute or protest, is Italian law; in the event of discrepancy between the terminology in Italian and the translation, the Italian interpre­tation takes precedence. For any dispute, the law courts of Bergamo (Italy) have exclusive jurisdiction.
The warranty does not include:
1. Masonry work.
2. The electrical and electronic parts that break down due to a power supply with a voltage other than the nominal or with improper connections to the mains and/or the latter not being according to standard and without protection from natural disasters.
3. The parts subject to wear/tear.
4. For fireplaces with water thermovector fluid and for domestic water production not supplied by Jolly Mec.
5. Damage caused by electromagnetic fields or by blackout.
6. Variations in colour due to contact with heat.
7. For cladding, the visible defects that may be found on the wooden parts; cladding, in the event of misuse of the product or accidental breakages; some features of marble (e.g. veins) that do not change the characteristics of the product but that may differ from the veins and/or colour shades in the photos in Jolly Mec catalogues.
8. Not considered to be original defects are all faults and deformities related to wear and tear, poor maintenance, failure to clean the product and use of the product in a way not in keeping with the Usage and Maintenance Manual provided with the product.
9. Defects connected with installation.
10. No compensation whatsoever shall be paid for lack of use of the product due to repair times or its replacement.
This warranty is automatically invalidated as a result of:
1. Tampering with the product.
2. Use of the product in an improper way and not in compliance with the instructions contained in each pack and in particular the use of poor quality pellets, with the use of fuels that are not recommended or not stated in the instructions or loads higher than those stated.
3. Alterations or operations not previously authorised.
4. Use of spare parts that are not original or not specific to the model.
5. Damage caused by transport not under Jolly Mec's responsibility.
6. Installation of products unduly carried out, in a way not in accordance with current regulations and with the instructions contained in the pack.
7. Failure to perform the cleaning and maintenance work stated in the manual accompanying the product.

02.1 PRESENTATION OF THE STOVE FOR AIR AND PELLETS
The air and pellet stoves with 10 and 15kW are machines a heater approved according to European standard EN14785; it is the result of Jolly Mec’s forty years of experience, designed and developed according to the increasing demands from today’s market for high performance and modern logistic requirements.
It is a high performance product for heating with humidified air, operating on alternative and renewable energy sources: wood pellets. A design that is always up to date, maintaining the tradition and irreplaceable cosiness of a warm home.

heater built with advanced characteristics, equipped
with a robust steel frame and
composed of an exchanger in FIREFLECTOR and dual heat development capacity steel, between which air is blown with a fan or fans which once is heated, is distributed in the room; low-cost ductibility and superb, rapid heating, it was created to keep consumption levels low and
heating levels high. Combustion is controlled by means of a radio-frequency electronic control unit and wireless remote control with the following functions: timed thermostat, ambient temperature control with TLC or probe up to 3 m., output levels, operating mode, the possibility of adjusting combustion, and multilingual. Are equipped by a pellet hopper with an approximate 15/ 18kg capacity, a pellet ash compartment, a safety double thermostat, a combustion fan for pellets, a fan or fans for distributing hot air and an electric heating element for lighting.

03.1 GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS
• The manual refers to essential aspects of the directives, regulations and dispositions on using the machine, summarising its most significant points.
• General legal regulations and mandatory rules regarding injury prevention and environmental pro­tection must be observed. These obligations also include regulations regarding the use of personal protective equipment.
• For all work to be done on the system, the following dispositions and regulations in force must be observed regarding accident prevention, following the indications.
Before using the system the first time, the personnel in charge must have read and under-
stood the instruction manual perfectly and this chapter in particular.
• The user must also make sure that the machine is always in good condition as regards its safety requirements.
• During maintenance and inspection activities, wear the following specified protective garments.
• Danger warnings and signals in the form of plates, labels and markings must not be removed or made unidentifiable. If they are worn or broken, they must be replaced.
Modifications, additions or transformations must not be made on the machine and its com-
ponents without the manufacturer's authorisation. This is valid first and foremost for instal­lation and regulation of the installed safety devices.
• Make sure, before starting up every time and after carrying out maintenance, that dismantled parts have been repositioned correctly and in particular all the protection devices that impede access to the machine.
03.2 SAFETY REGULATIONS FOR MAINTENANCE AND USAGE
Only specialised and qualified personnel may work or carry out checks inside the machine, complying with safety regulations. Before any cleaning and/or ordinary or extraordinary maintenance on the machine, dis­connect it from all energy sources.
Before installing the machine, the customer must make sure that the floor where it will be positioned is adequately levelled, that it can sustain the weight (see chap. 4 - TECHNICAL DATA) and that the necessary technological pre-dispositions exist. If these conditions do not exist, it is necessary to take proper countermeasures, such as a sheet metal plate to distribute the load or build a concrete supporting slab with a minimum thickness of 6 cm.
Prior to installation, the user is obliged to check that the mains electrical supply to which the machine will be connected, corresponds to the voltage on the identification plate (see par. 02.2-PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION), and that it is equipped with a good grounding system. If not, adapt the system to the standard.
For connections, observe the laws of the country in which the machine is to be installed.
Upstream from the machine (at the user's expense) on the electrical power supply line, an omnipolar switch must be installed that is able to intercept all the current phases. (See chap. 04 - TECHNICAL DATA for calculations).
Personnel moving the machine and tools must always wear work gloves and safety footwear.
INEXPERIENCED PERSONS MUST NOT USE THE MACHINE
The irradiation area includes the area between the opening of the hearth and up to 1 metre of space frontally as well as laterally. No inflammable object must be left in this area, such as: inflammable liquids, fire-starting products or firewood, drapes, wooden dec­orations, rugs, etc.

03.3 EQUIPMENT FOR OPERATORS AND MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL

Do not touch the glass or other hot parts. Before opening the cladding sides panels, before doing any internal cleaning or maintenance, you must wait until the machine reaches the ambient temperature.
After every cleaning or maintenance operation, reassemble and/or close the panels again.

04.2 PELLET QUALITY
The pellet stoves with continuous flame are machines a heater that was projected to burn wood pellets. It is important to choose pellets that have no debris or impurities. The Association of Pellet Manufacturers with the Italian Thermotechnical Committee have established standards for identifying pellets in terms of energy.
A pellet stove's performance is significantly linked and high­ly influenced by the type and quality of wood pellet that is burned. As the efficiencies of different wood pellet qualities differ, likewise the efficiency and heat capacity emitted by the stove running on pellets will vary.
Store pellets at least 1 m. from the stove.
Do not use pellets that are very hard and with different dimen­sions; the mechanical parts are sized and tested for use with pellets with the abovementioned characteristics.
JOLLY MEC CAMINETTI SPA recommends that you use the same pellets as those in the tests and trials, as the combustion parameters vary from pellet to pellet.
JOLLY MEC CAMINETTI SPA is not responsible for malfunc­tions, breakdowns or problems due to the use of pellets that are not recommended.
As JOLLY-MEC has no control over the quality of pellets you use, it assumes no responsibility caused by the quality of wood pellets that are used.

Part 2: Internal ducts and metal exhaust pipes EN10683 -Installation requirements The flue section must be the one indicated in the stove's technical characteristics. Every stove must have its own flu, excluding other inlets (fireplaces, boilers, stoves. etc.).
The exhaust duct of the combustion products generated by
the
forced
uptake equipment must respond to the following
requirements:

has to be rigid aluminium or stainless steel with diameter of 80mm and joints (up to 5 meters duct) or 100 mm. with the seal (with path greater than 5 meters).
- be sealed against combustion products, waterproof and
adequately insulated according to the same standards as the usage conditions .
- be made of suitable materials that resist normal mechani-
cal stress, heat

sides of 1:5. A windproof chimney cap with airfoil profile is recommended. If the flue is installed externally it must be insulated to prevent the cooling of fumes and formation of condensation. The
same is valid for the tract from the roof to the chimney cap. For the union between the stove and the flue, or if there are deviations or curves, for easier, quicker and safer installa­tion, we recommend using double-walled stainless steel pipes without insulation in the hood. The use of pipes in fibre cement for connecting the equip­ment to the flue is forbidden. Exhaust pipes must not run through rooms where the instal­lation of combustion equipment is forbidden. Exhaust pipes must be assembled so that the exhaust seal is ensured for operating the machine in pressure, to prevent the formation and conveyance of condensation to the machine. Horizontal tracts in assembly must be avoided as much as possible
or however not greater than 2 Mt and with the min.

For stoves that must reach ceiling or wall exhaust outlets that are not coaxi­al with regard to the issue of the fumes from the machine, changes in direction must be made using an open elbow not greater than 45° (see F
IG. 1).
The use of counterslope elements is forbidden. The exhaust pipe must allow soot to be collected and swabbed. The exhaust pipe must have a constant section. Changes in sec­tion are allowed only at the generator exit; the use of adapters at the coupling with the flue is forbidden. Running other air ducts and installation pipes inside the exhaust pipes, even if oversized, is forbidden.
Supporting the weight of the flue with the stove/fire­place union is forbidden. Use specific stands or inde­pendent supports for this purpose. Other fireplaces, boilers or air extractors must not be installed in the same room

05.1 RECEIVING GOODS
The machine is delivered on a pallet, packed with a cellophane hood; when receiving merchandise, check that:
• the packaging is intact
• all of the merchandise indicated on the delivery bill has actually been delivered.
• the supplied merchandise corresponds to the order specifications
• if the packaging is damaged, check that the contents have not also been damaged.
• check that none of the delivered merchandise has been damaged; if it has been damaged during transport, notify the delivery company immediately, the relative insurance company and Jolly Mec Caminetti S.p.A.
Contact Jolly Mec Caminetti S.p.A. or any of its local representatives immediately if material is missing.
05.2 LIFTING AND TRANSPORT
WARNING: DANGER OF CRUSHING, COLLISION AND ABRASION
Personnel in charge of moving the machine must have read and thoroughly understood the safety prescriptions in chap. 03 of this sheet and must wear work gloves and safety footwear.
Unauthorised persons must not be in the area where the machine is being moved.
The machine must be moved only with a trolley or pallet fork, and never with belts, chains, overhead cranes (see chap. 04 ­TECHNICAL DATA for the weight). Protect the contact parts if it is transported with crane, cables or bands. Unless there are obstacles, lift the machine maximum 30 cm from the ground and move it slowly, avoiding jerky or brusque movements.
WARNING: Danger of suffocation.
Make sure that children do not play with the packaging materials (e.g. films and poly­styrene).
WARNING: Danger of environmental pollution.
Dispose of the packaging responsibly, taking it to specialised firms or directly to the waste disposal site.

POSITIONING AND CONNECTIONS FOR THE INSTALLER
The machine must only be installed on surfaces that can support the load. If the existing construction does not meet this requirement, it will be necessary to take appropriate measures (e.g. installing a load distribution plate). The machine must be installed in an area where the machine, gas exhaust pipes and flue can be easily accessed for cleaning.
Electrical connections must be carried out by skilled personnel according to the regulations in force (CE 2006/95 and 2004/108).

06.2 PHASES OF ASSEMBLING/DISASSEMBLING STOVE CLADDING
The stove is delivered in a polystyrene + cardboard + polythene packaging on a pallet with the boiler body and cladding disassembled,in case of ceramic.
The various elements of the cladding must be handled carefully, as being satin-finished, polished or painted, they could be scratched or dented during the moving or assembly phases.
NOTE!
The flue must be installed so that it can be disassembled for cleaning or removing the cladding itself. The below assembly directions must be obligatorily followed, after having carried out the various connections.

06.5 EXAMPLE OF AIR DUCTING IN THE VARIOUS ROOMS
The air pipes must be brought to the rooms to be heated. From every room where hot air is ducted, the air must return to the stove room through openings beneath the doors or vents, which must be taken up again by the grid behind the stove. The flow of ducted air can be increased by closing the front outlet using the upper lever on the left beneath the grid. The two air outlets can also be united in one single outlet with a "Y" pipe, in order to have hot air in one single outlet; in this case it is necessary to increase the diameter of the output Y of the pipeline at least to 140mm. diameter (by customer) and maximum length of the pipes 7m.
Air is distributed with flexible circular pipes in aluminium Ø 80mm. The pipes must be fastened to the unions with pipe clamps. Pipe insulation is vital for the stove's performance. They must be wrapped with glass wool pads (minimum thickness 3 cm) along its entire length.
Warning: makes sure that pipes do not contact wood and inflammable materials.
It is also very dangerous to use plastic pipes to distribute air since the high temperatures could deform them and release harmful gases. Where it is impossible to wall up the distribution pipes, they can be hidden with a suspended ceiling, fake beams or casing.
To duct air into the other rooms, connect the pipes to the stove's upper rear outlets. To dis­tribute air to the various areas, see examples. The air can be balanced with the grids with adjustable closures.
The space between the vents and the wall must be hermetically sealed with silicone, to prevent that leaking air blackens it due to heat (for exemple dark spots of the radiators).

The radio-frequency control unit (operating by the antenna located on the back side of the stove and connected to the con­sole) is equipped with a timed thermostat with personalisable programs, for simple management of functioning controls. The functioning is managed by the AMBIENT PROBE, located on the remote control (or in the equipment with the sensor installed inside the console, which can be moved into an area of the house by a cable 2x1 mm ²) and controlled by safety devices which are:
FUME TEMPERATURE PROBE:located on the fume exhaust. PRESSURE SWITCH: positioned in the flue pipe SAFETY THERMOSTAT PELLET TANK: Intervenes if the
stove's internal temperature is too high. NB: if the remote control breaks down, the stove can function with pellets using the emergency console (as described in par.
07.3 and in the "REMOTE CONTROL MANUAL M10-P"
attachment).
The M10-P remote controls lets you:
• Turn the stove on and off
• Regulate 5 outputs heating.
• Regulate the desired ambient temperature.
• Optimise combustion.
• Manually load pellets into the basket.
• Manage the timed thermostat with several daily start ups.
• Report any function irregularities.
• Indicate the stove's operating mode.
REMOTE CONTROL M10-P
Electrical connections must be carried out by skilled personnel according to the regulations in force (CE 2006/95 and 2004/108).
Connect the 230Vac 50Hz line with the proper cable with plug, supplied with the stove, which powers up the control unit and all the stove's electrical components. The stove is equipped with an electrical socket with fuse (A) and a switch (B) (see fig. alongside); therefore if there is no the tension, after having turned it on, check that the fuse is intact.
The control unit M10-P manages all the functions and is controlled by a dedicated remote control.

07.1 STOVE OPERATION
The STOVE uses pellets as fuel, whose combustion is electronically controlled. Pellets are taken from the storage hopper (A) by the auger (B) controlled by the gear motor (C) and conveyed directly to the combus­tion crucible (D). They are ignited by the hot air produced by the electric heating element (E) and aspirated into the crucible by the cen­trifugal fan (F ) which is the same that sucks up the fumes produced by combustion, expelling them to the rear part of the stove. The fan/s (G) move/s air in the air space on the back of the fireplace, where it is heated and then released into the environment through the front slit (H)(10 kW stove) and the ductible air rear outlets (I) (15kW stove). Located on the rear part of the stove, the hopper (A) is filled by an openable lid (L) located on the upper part of the cladding. The fireplace is equipped with an exchanger in steel and dual heat developing FIREFLECTOR, closed in front by a door in ceramic glass. The quantity of fuel, the feeding of comburent air and the extraction of fumes are regulated with an electronic card in order to obtain a highly efficient combustion. All the operations for managing machine functions are handled by a supplied radio remote control. It it breaks or is lost, the emergency console inside on the back of the stove (see par. 07.3) can be used to start up or turn off the stove.

07.3 EMERGENCY CONSOLE
If the remote control breaks down, the basic functions can be accessed by an emergency console (see also "REMOTE CONTROL MANUAL M10-P AIR" attachment), located on the backside of the stove; detach the emergency console attached by hook and press the interested buttons.
07.4 SAFETY THERMOSTAT PELLET TANK WITH MANUAL RESET
The fan begins to run automatically following the smokes tem­peratures
The humidifying water (max capacity 1/2 litre) must be manual­ly inserted in the stove through the filling window that is located to the right of the fireplace, beneath the air diffusion grid (the humidifier is full when the water reaches the level). Do remem­ber that the stove can also operate without water.
Air humidificaton prevents physiological disorders such as: dry throat, migraine, various allergies and excess dust caused by environments that are too dry. Aromatic essences can be added to the humidifier water (mixed with the water that has been poured) to scent the rooms.
NEVER RUN THE STOVE WITHOUT ELEC­TRICAL CURRENT AND WITH FUELS OTHER THAN WOOD PELLETS OR WITH INFLAMMABLE LIQUID
DO NOT TOUCH the parts of the fireplace without cladding, excluding the handles and the regulating controls, as they are subject to high temperatures. The room where the fireplace is installed must not directly adjoin multi-floored stair­wells; there must not be other boilers, stoves or air extractors in the same room (excluded of the type "C" according to UNI 10683). An external air intake Ø80 mm in the room is obligatory.
07.5 RECOMMENDATIONS AND WARNINGS
If the stove is turned off by the intervention of the safety thermostat, the cause could be too high output . Decrease the output .
Proceed as follows to restore the stove's normal operation:
1) wait until the stove is completely cold (10-20 minutes);
2) reset the thermostat unscrewing the hood (A) located on the back-
side of the stove (photo alongside) and press the appropriate button
3) refit the hood, reset the alarm on the control unit and start up again.
Only use original spare parts; original spare parts are available through authorised retailers, authorised Assistance Centres, or directly from JOLLY-MEC.
If the glass becomes very dirty (with visible blackening) while operating on pellets, the causes could be:
• Little uptake in the flue (clean the flue or check its character­istics).
• Insufficient comburent air (add more air with the combustion fan), clean the air intake.

07.5 RECOMMENDATIONS AND WARNINGS
Please be aware that to have a 10 kW output, approximately 2 kg of pellets per hour must be burned; for a power of 15 kW, 3 kg of pellets per hour. When pellets are not used for a long time (spring-summer peri­od), the hopper, the auger and the basket must be completely emptied using a vacuum cleaner; clean carefully to prevent that pellet residue deposits there and damages components during the next start up.
Use only recommended fuels otherwise the warranty could be invalidated. Every 500-1000 kg of pellet loaded in the hopper, check that there are no deposits of sawdust on the bottom, and remove any sawdust there. (sawdust reduces the auger's capacity and creates functional problems for the stove).
The pellets must be poured into the hopper with a scoop. Do not empty the sack directly into the hopper.
The fireplace must be closed to prevent that smoke gets out.
The pellet hatch must be closed while the machine is running.
Check for obstructions in the flue and in the external air intake before starting the machine after a prolonged period of disuse. The stove must not be used as an incinerator. Do not used fuels that are not recommended. The fireplace must not be modified; each unauthorised modifi­cation automatically invalidates the manufacturer's warranty and every responsibility.
The stove must not be placed in direct contact with combustible materials; the minimum distance to be observed is 50 cm.
Prompt and systematic maintenance is a fundamental compo­nent for perfect functioning and continous maximum heat effi­ciency.

For the first few days during pellet operation, keep the pellet basket under observation to determine after how many days it must be cleaned, as different qualities of pellets have different quantities of residue.
Before starting any type of cleaning, switch off the main switch and make sure that the stove is cold.
Pellet basket cleaning (2-5 days)
Eliminate any debris in the basket, turning it over with a tool and with its tip remove any material that may be clogging it, striking the inner walls of the basket then shaking it; or remove the basket completely from its housing to make cleaning easi­er. Clean the air passage holes in the basket carefully with a point­ed tool. Make sure that the area where the basket rests is cleaned well (if the basket does not sit well on it and air passes, the stove will not light up and operates poorly; it can also let returning smoke enter the pellet hopper). Reposition the pellet basket perfectly.
Glass cleaning (daily)
Clean the glass daily with a damp sponge or paper towel. If the glass becomes dirty with black smoke, the pellet basket is probably dirty or the combustion air must be increased.
Take care not to use products that are too aggressive in order not to ruin the paint. If the stove requires more frequent and deeper cleaning, check the flue's uptake and the
chimney cap. A windproof chimney
cap is recommended.
Ash compartment cleaning
Remove the ash grid and empty the pellet ash compartment periodically whenever necessary. Use a "drum type" vacuum cleaner equipped with a fine mesh filter, which will simplify clean­ing as it prevents aspirated ash from returning to the environ­ment.
Cleaning stove main body (to be verified according to the
usage)
Remove the basket and remove the FIREFLECTOR panels (see sequence). Using the provided brush, clean the exchanger making the smut fall into the ash drawer or the fume extractor compartment. Empty the ash drawer and clean the ash container carefully. A vacuum cleaner can be used for aspirating residual smut and ash. Reassemble everything perfectly.
Pellet hopper cleaning
Every 500-1000 kg of burned pellets, empty the hopper and check that no sawdust has deposited on the bottom. Clean the bottom of the hopper carefully. After a long period of inactivity, empty the hopper and auger completely.

We wish to remind you that the Extraordinary Maintenance to be carried out on this type of heating
stove must be done obligatorily every year by qualified maintenance personnel, in order to maintain its function­ality, efficiency and comfort.

WARNING!To carry out these operations, the electrical current must be turned off; you must wait until the heating stove is cold and comply rigorously with the safety regulations in force.
1. Clean inside the fireplace with the provided tools *
2. Remove the steel grid (see FIG. 1).
3. Extract the pellet basket and clean it(see FIG. 2).
4. Remove the hollow in sequence, starting with the upper part:
a) Push up the top hollow (see F
IG. 3), lift and pull in front and turning down

chamber.
b) Take the side hollow (either right to left) to top (see F
IG. 5), lift and turn

to free it from its slot and leaning it backwards

c) Take the front / central hollow at the top (see FIG. 8) pull forward, lift (see
FIG. 9) and tilt backward to release the pellet pipe (see FIG. 10), and
remove from the burning chamber.
5. Clean with a brush the inner surfaces of the boiler (see F

6. Remove the lid of the chamber of smoke (see F
IG. 12) and a vacuum spe-
cific (can) or palette and brushes clean the ashes and residues.
7. Reassemble carefully following the sequence.

PROBLEM CAUSE AND/OR SOLUTION
• Make sure the batteries are not dead. Rechargeable batteries are bot allowed.
• Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly.
• The control unit has broken down.
• Pellets have run out; fill up the hopper.
• Pellets that are too hard have obstructed the auger (only use recommended pellets). Release the auger.
• The gear motor has no voltage (check and find a solution for the causes).
• The gear motor does not turn despite there being voltage (remove the gear motor, release the auger with a screwdriver and refit the gear motor).
• The motor turns but the auger is still. Replace the gear motor.
• The basket is dirty. Clean carefully and reposition it correctly.
• The basket is not in the correct position. Reposition it.
• The heating element has broken down; replace the heating element.
• The quantity of pellet loaded in the basket with various output levels does not correspond to the one indicated in the Technical Data (see para. 04.1). Check and correct.
Little uptake in the flue, do not use the stove, it could be dangerous; carefully clean the flue, the stove and fume extractor.
• Dirty pellet basket. Clean it.
• Humid pellets. Replace the pellets with dry pellets.
• The comburent air is scarse; make sure that the pellet drawer is well closed, that it is not full of ash and clean the fan.
• Insufficient setting of the comburent air. Raise the set level of the VARIATION COMBURENT AIR
.
• Too much sawdust has deposited on the bottom of the hopper. Empty the container and fill with new pellets (every 5-10 quintals of loaded pellets, the container must be emptied and all the sawdust on the bottom must be eliminated).
• Increase the pellet capacity .
• Decrease the pellet capacity .
• Increase the comburent air capacity .
• Check that the flue has been well connected with the stove and that there is no smoke leakage.
• Check that the external air intake has been made according to the indications and that it is clean.
• Check that the fan ducting has been made according to the indications and that it is clean.
• If the stove has been installed in a room adjoining a stairwell with major depression that exists in the loca,l close off the stairwell with a door.
• There are other appliances that use the ambient air, creating a vacuum in the area. Use the stove with the appliances off (excluded of the type "C" according to UNI 10683).
• The external air intakes and/or the flue are partially or totally obstructed. Clean or remove the obstruc­tions.
• The flue has little uptake: there are horizontal tracts or 90° curves or the chimney cap is under the top of the roof (installation errors). Replace the horizontal tracts with 45° formations; raise the chim­ney cap or install an airfoil chimney cap.
• Check that the flue conforms with the indications appearing in par. 04.4, clean the flue and the fume extractor.
• Control unit card is broken.
• Incorrect connections
•Overheating of fumes, or cleaning; the stove starts back up automatically.
Regarding the laws in force on safety for electrical appliances, for all installation, mainte­nance or interventions that require access to electrical parts, a Jolly Mec S.p.A Technical Assistance Centre or qualified personnel must obligatorily be contacted.

For other alarms not on the list, for persistant problems or for those different from the ones described above, seek Technical Assistance.

• Check the electrical connection between the socket on the back of the heater and the connecting cable to the mains is carried out properly.

09.1 DISCARDED MATERIALS AND THEIR DISPOSAL
Spare parts replaced during the machine's product life are to be considered waste and must be taken to special collec­tion centres or entrusted to authorised disposal centres.
Ashes must be placed in a metal container with a sealed lid. Until the coals definitively go out, the closed container must be placed on a non-combustible base and kept away from combustible materials. Only when the ashes go out can they be thrown into the organic waste collection, naturally without nails or non-organic materials. The ashes from natural wood (untreated) derived from stove or fireplace combustion are mainly composed of calcium, silicon, potassium and magnesium oxides. For this reason, the ashes can be dispersed as fertilizer for plants or for the
garden, not exceeding 2.6 Kg on 10m
2
yearly.
The machine must be disposed of in a manner that complies with the laws in force and the environment.
PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT!!!!
09.2 DISPOSAL OF THE MACHINE
The stove is mainly composed of ferrous materials, but it may also contain:
• piping
• insulating materials
• electrical parts etc.
• refractory materials
When you have finished using the stove definitively, do not dispose of it irresponsibly. Remember to:
• empty the circuit completely (if present)
• remove piping (if present)
• remove plastic parts
• remove electric cables and electric components

Furthermore:
• immobilise moving parts
• make the locks on the doors inoperative
Take the remaining part of the stove to the firms that dispose of ferrous materials.
NOTE: When taking it to the firms that dispose of ferrous materials, move the stove as described in chap. 05 - MOVING AND TRANSPORT
