USE AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER
1.4 Use of controller BP07 ......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................9
Read this card carefully and follow the instructions for quick installation and correct use of the fireplace.
Before starting installation, read the card carefully and follow the instructions; failure to do so could invalidate the warranty and compromise fireplace performance and safety.
This installation card is an integral and essential part of the product and must be given to the user.
It must kept in safe place and carefully consulted, as it provides important information on safety during the installation, use and maintenance stages.
Incorrect installation can cause damage and injury, for which the manufacturer cannot not be held liable.
The unit must only be used for its intended purpose. Any other use is deemed improper and therefore dangerous.
The manufacturer declines any contractual or non-contractual liability for damage caused by errors in installation or use, failure to follow the instructions contained in this card, or installation in places or rooms unsuitable for the characteristics of the product.
All rights to reproduction of this card belong to JOLLY-MEC CAMINETTI S.p.A.

Before fitting the exchanger or positioning the fireplace, choose the required electrical assembly diagram from among those given, then prepare the necessary paths for the connection cables, obtained from passages in tubes with sheathing for electrical cables of approved types.
The fan and 230V line cables must not be inserted in the same sheathing used for the probe (or thermostat) and display cables.
1.1.1 SOLUTION 1: for new fireplaces or inserts
Components
Controller positioned under the fireplace, inside the cladding, or in the compartment obtained for the fan in already existing cladding for Universaljolly (see fireplace instructions). Display positioned at side on cladding hood.

Main features
The controller is arranged for control of the room air fan, for setting the optimum air delivery level. The ventilation level can be manually set by the user or in automatic mode. In automatic setting (possible in the version with temperature probe), the ventilation level is set according to the fireplace temperature. A fan operation mode is provided for also with the fireplace off, for room ventilation.
The user interface is in wired version, already arranged for the radiofrequency version. Through the user interface it is possible to set the various operation modes and identify any faults. Display of room temperature (with remote control only).

Setting the required ventilation level
In Manual the set ventilation level LX will appear on the right on the display, where X can assume values of 1 to 9.
Use the buttons .to modify the set value X.
Display of ventilation level in automatic (with remote control only)
Press the button for 3 seconds to display the current ventilation level (which can momentarily differ from that set, for example in automatic). The ventilation level LX will appear in the middle of the display, where X can assume values of 1 to 9.
To return to normal operation just press the button again or wait 60 seconds without pressing other buttons.
Dissipation programme
If the fireplace reaches excessive temperatures a programme called Dissipation will be automatically activated (with probe only) and signalled with the message Ht (High Temperature). This programme has priority over all the other settings, which will possibly be ignored.
NOTE!
When the contact thermostat is present on the fireplace, the fan speed “Automatic” function is not present.

Associating an RFRC02 with base RFIU02 (RF installation)
To associate the display-remote control pair, proceed as described below. Note: To create the association it is necessary to operate on the display and the remote control, therefore it is advisable to keep them within reach.
1. On REMOTE CONTROL:
- Press the button for 5 seconds to access the Programming mode (indicated by the message LO).
- Press the button once and the icons and the message n Zn (No Zone) appear, with n flashing to indicate no association.
Press the button for 5 seconds until the message Ln (Link) appears.
2. On DISPLAY:
Now put the display on standby for association request, from normal operation by pressing the button once the message Inst (Install) will appear flashing.
3. On REMOTE CONTROL:
- Press the button and wait a few seconds. If the operation was successful the message LO (Link OK) appears, otherwise LE (Link Error) appears.
- In both cases it is possible to return to the initial window by pressing the button (or to exit programming completely).
In case of positive result the display automatically returns to normal operation (otherwise press or wait 60 seconds) and the new message on the remote control will be 1 Zn in place of n Zn.

Quality of the RF signal and notes on position of the device (with remote control)
The quality of RF communications can be displayed at any time, in order to select the correct place of installation and guarantee correct operation of the system. In fact, the communications in RF systems can deteriorate as a result of an incorrect position inside the house. To check the quality, proceed as follows.
- Press the button for at least 3 seconds to access the Programming mode (indicated by the message LO).
- Press the button until the message X rF appears, with X flashing to indicate the communication quality level (from 0 to 4):
0 = No communication (no association/signal or positioning unsuitable) 1 = Signal present but weak (positioning not very suitable in presence of interference) 2 = Signal sufficient to guarantee correct operation 3 = Good signal 4 = Optimum signal
To return to normal operation, press the button or wait 60 seconds.
Fault signalling
In case a boiler anomaly, the message Er:XX will appear on the display in normal operation, where XX indicates the type of fault.
