Your coffee maker should be placed on a level and robust counter away from
water. It should be connected to the mains using only a “schugo” plug
avoiding the use of cord extensions. Make sure that the area around the
appliance is dry and oil-free.
Before first use…
Before the operator uses the appliance for the first time, he must do the
following:
• Get to know the appliance and its components.
• Check the stability of the appliance.
Directions of use….
ATTENTION!
Make sure that the plug is connected.
After placing the Hovoli on the selected area, follow the instructions
below to turn on the appliance:
• Open the bag containing the sand and spread it evenly on the heating plate.
• Connect the power cord to the socket.
• Press the illuminated general switch POWER.
• Turn the switch temperature regulator at ‘’7’’ position.
• Ensure that both lamps for the power and the heating element switch on.
• You should wait for 20 minutes till the appliance reaches the required
temperature. When the appliance reaches the required temperature (300⁰C),
then the lamp of the heating element switches on and off periodically (if
stays on continuously, refer to the "malfunctions and how to
troubleshoot"). The power indicating lamp remains continuously on.
• If the appliance has reached the required temperature, fill the pot with
water and the necessary ingredients (coffee, sugar) and immerse deep into
the sand so as to touch onto the heating element. Move the pot in
small circular movements in the sand. Stir coffee and be careful because
cezve/ibrik coffee inflates and can be poured. The coffee will be ready in
2,5-3 min. You can use more than one pots at the same time.
• When coffee is ready is served. The appliance can remain plugged in with
the switch temperature regulator turned at ‘’7’’ position, in order to prepare
more coffees during the day.
