The 40-6791C & 40-6791M are versatile, construction tough laser receivers that can be mounted on bull-dozers, motor-graders, drag scrapers, motorized scrapers, skidsteer loaders, backhoes and excavators. The built in super bright display and battery pack makes the 40-6791C and 40-6791M ideally suited for machine control applications.

Charging Light: ON: Shows the detector is charging
OFF: Shows the detector is not charging
Up LED (red) Lights: Indicates the laser beam is above the on grade indicator
On Grade LED (green) Light: Indicates the laser beam is level with the on grade indicator
Down LED (red) Lights: Indicates the laser beam is under the on grade indicator
Power and Coarse/Fine Accuracy button: Turn on/off the power and change from coarse detecting to fine detecting

3. Operating Instructions
This product can be used to detect any type of rotating laser.
To turn on the detector, press key, each LED will blink from top to bottom once. The detector is ready to begin detecting the laser beam. The detector is in coarse mode when first turned on.
Press the key again to switch to the fine mode.
Press the key for 4 seconds and the LEDs will blink from the center to two sides. The detector is now turned off.
After the power is turned on, to switch to the fine mode press the power key again. The two LEDs inside will blink three times simulta­neously. The detector is now in fine mode.
To switch back to coarse mode, press the power key again. The two LEDs outside will blink three times simultaneously. The detector is now in coarse mode.

Accessories
Connect the JLT 40-6791 to the 12V or 24V battery cable.
To charge the rechargeable battery use the AC adapter. The charging time is 6 hours.

The remote display 40-6792 is an optional accessory for this detector. It can be connected to the detector with a cable. Installing the remote display inside the cab will allow the operator to view the five indicating arrows up close rather than on the detector.
Detector Maintenance
• Keep the unit, particularly the reception window, clean. If it does get dirty, use a cloth to wipe it clean.
