The HomeLink® Universa l T ransceiver in your vehic le provides a convenient way to replace up to three hand­held transmitte rs with a single bu ilt-in component. Precautions
Whe n programming the Home Link Universal Transceiver to a garage door opener or entry gate, make s ure that people and objects are out of the way to preve nt potential harm or damage.
Do not use the HomeLink Universal Transceiver with any garage door opener that lacks the safety stop and reverse feature as required by federal sa fety standards. (This includes any garage door opener model manufactured before June 1, 1982.) A garage door opener which cannot detect an object, signaling the door to stop and reverse, does not meet current federal safety standards. Using a garage door opene r without these features increases risk of serious injury or death. For more information, call
