JL Audio warrants th is produc t to be free of defe cts in mat erials an d workma nship for a p eriod
of two (2) yea rs from the original date of pur chase. Th is warranty is not tr ansferable and applies
only to the o riginal p urchaser from an aut horize d JL Audio dealer. Shoul d service be nece ssary
under this warrant y for any reason due to ma nufacturing de fect or malfunc tion, JL Audio will (at
its discr etion), rep air or repl ace the defectiv e produc t with new or remanuf actured product at no
charge. Da mage caus ed by the following is not covered under war ranty: accident, misuse, a buse,
product modification or neglect, failure to follow installation instructions, unauthorized repair
attempts, misre present ations by the seller. This warranty does not cover inc idental or consequen­tial damag es and does not cover the cost of removing or re install ing the uni t(s). Cosmetic damage
due to accident or normal wear and tear is not cove red unde r warrant y. Products installed as
original equipment by boat manufacturers are covered by the boat manufacturer’s warranty, not
JL Audio, In c.

Warranty is void if the product’s serial number has been removed or defaced.

Any applic able implied warranties ar e limited in duration to the peri od of the express warranty
as provided herein beginni ng with the date of the or iginal purchase at re tail, and no warranties,
whether express o r implied, shall apply to this product t hereafter. Some states do not allow
limitati ons on implied warr anties, therefo re these exclusions may not appl y to you. This warrant y
gives you sp ecific legal ri ghts, and you may also have other rights, whi ch vary f rom state to state.

All warra nty retu rns should be sent to JL Audio ’s Elec tronics Serv ice Facilit y freight-prepai d
through an authorized JL Audi o dealer and must be accompanied by proof of purchas e (a copy
of the orig inal sales receipt). Direct returns f rom consum ers or non-autho rized dealers wi ll be
refuse d unless specifi cally authorize d by JL Audio with a valid return aut horization numb er.
Warrant y expira tion on pro ducts returne d without proof of p urchase will be dete rmined from the
manufac turing date code. Coverage may b e invalidated as this da te is previous to purch ase date.
Non-defec tive items received w ill be returned fr eight-collect . Customer is responsible for s hip­ping charges and insu rance in se nding the p roduct to JL Audio. Fre ight damage on retur ns is not
covered under warranty.

MVi-DRCADAPT

Rotary DRC Adaptor for MVi Amplifiers

(Use with rota ry-style Di gital Rem ote Controllers only.)

Product Description:

The MVi-DRCADAPT permits the direct connection of a JL Audio rotar y-style Digital
Remote Controller (DRC) to a MVi amplifier via its JLid- COMM Port.

Notes: This product is not compatible with mono MV amplif iers or the MVi-HUB.
This product is not needed for connection of M-DRC-50 push-button controller.

What is Included:

(1) MVi-DRCADAPT
(1) Mounting Clip
(2) Mounting Screws

Placement Considerations:

The MVi-DRCADAPT should be installed near the connected MVi amplifier,
where its JLid status LED can be viewed.

Installation:

1. Plug the cable end of the MVi-DRCADAPT into the JLid- COMM port of the MVi amplifier.

2. Install a compatible DRC controller (sold separately) per its instructions and connect its
cable end to the R J45 jack of the MVi-DRCADAPT.

Mounting Clip Installation:

A mounting clip is included to secure the MVi-DRCADAPT module. Use the supplied screws
to fasten the mounting clip to a flat surface. Once the mounting clip is installed, attach the
MVi-DRCADAPT module by pressing one side of its notched center sec tion against the
inside of one of the arms of the mounting clip. Continue pressing inward until both arms of
the mounting clip snap around the notched center sec tion of the MVi-DRCADAPT module.
Ensure that the JLid Status LED is facing outward and visible. To remove, grasp the module’s
body and pull while rotating away from the mounting clip.

JLid Status LED:

The MVi-DRCADAPT module is equipped with a multi-color status LED.
