FEATURES
SW-10 SUBWOOFER INCORPORATES THE FOLLOWING MAIN COMPONENTS:
CABINET
By utilizing thick high quality MDF, the front baffle is designed to be low diffraction.
CONE DRIVER
254 mm/10 NOMEX composite cone, solid aluminum metal frame, 65mm/2.56 high power voice
coil, and a strong magnet system.
AMPLIFIER
A patented power amplifier is assembled in the rear panel of SW-10. The crossover of the amplifier allows you to set the crossover point of the subwoofer anywhere between 40-160Hz, also allow you to change the phase response of the subwoofer, as well as increase or decrease the low gain.

AMPLIFIER’S UTILIZATION AND SETUP
1. Volume level control:
Before power up, you must assure that the volume level control is set in the lowest position, after starting; you can adjust the volume level control until you are satisfied with the volume.
2. Crossover frequency control
The variable crossover frequency allows you to set the crossover point of the subwoofer anywhere between 40-160Hz. Increasing the crossover frequency will allow more mid-low output from the subwoofer and decreasing the crossover frequency will allow less mid-low output from subwoofer.

3. Automatic control
When setting to AUTOthe amplifier will be in automatic control status, here the amplifier will automatically turn on once the audio signal is detected at the line level input or high level/speaker level input. When set to ON the automatic control will be shut down. When set to OFF the amplifier will be shut down.
4. Phase control
This control can change the phase of the subwoofer. Generally, the phase should be set in the left of 0°position; it may cause more or less mid-low frequency if the phase is set in the 180°position.
5. Low gain control
Different low gain control allows you to set anywhere between 0-6dB. Increasing gain will allow more output of mid-low frequency, and decreasing gain will allow less output of mid-low frequency.
6. Line level input
These RCA terminals are for the line level input signal coming from an AV Receiver, AV Amplifier or preamplifier. Note! Do not connect the high level/speaker level signal to these RCA terminals.
7. Line level output
These RCA terminals can be connected to another power amplifier. A full range signal is sent through these terminals.
8. High level/speaker level input
These terminals are for the signal input from power amplifier or speaker level. Note! Do not use the line level input and high level/speaker level input both simultaneously.
9. High level/speaker level output::
These terminals are to be used for connecting satellite speakers/main speakers. These terminals can be used only when using high level/speaker level input.
10. High pass crossover control
This is a switch for high pass crossover. This crossover limits the low frequencies, which has 80Hz and 120Hz two options. The crossover can be used only when using high level/speaker level input and high level/speaker level output. NoteDo not operate the switch of high pass crossover when amplifier is working.

THE PLACEMENT AND INSTALLATION OF SUBWOOFER
The size of the room, the treatment of the wall and floor surfaces, the position of furniture and the placement location of the subwoofer in the room are all factors to achieve optimal sound reproduction. Please carefully read the following references
If placing the subwoofer in a corner it will make the subwoofer sound louder and boost the very
lowest frequency. If placing the subwoofer away from walls it will make the subwoofer sound lower. So we recommend that you look for the optimal position according to the size and overall arrangement of the room. The optimal position can be set up as long as you experiment by moving the subwoofer a number of times.
If the floor is too smooth it will make the sound quality of the subwoofer muddy. The sound
quality will improve if you place a small rug on the floor.
The subwoofer should be located on a flat stable floor; spikes should be installed and adjusted to
suit.

CONNECTING YOUR SUBWOOFER
It is very simple to connect the subwoofer; you can choose line level input or high level/speaker level input. Please note! Do not connect the high level/speaker level signal to the line level input. Please assure that the volume level control is set in the lowest position before power up. Furthermore, we recommend you to set the phase control to the position of 0º, and set the low gain to the 0dB position, you can adjust the volume level control slowly until you are satisfied with the volume.
SUBWOOFER BREAK IN PERIOD
After testing, the subwoofer requires at least 20 hours of break in to obtain the normal working condition. In order to achieve the optimum performance sooner, we recommend the subwoofer break in as continuously as possible.
CLEANING YOUR SUBWOOFER
Use a damp cloth to clean the cabinet. We recommend maintaining an occasional furniture grade wax and polish the wood surface of the cabinet.
ATTENTION
Subwoofer should be placed away from heat sources and prevent direct sunlight on the subwoofer.
Otherwise, this can cause life reduction of the drivers and aging of the cabinet finish.
Make sure that you have read and understood the information in this manual. If there is anything
you don’t understand or are unsure of, please contact your AURUM CANTUS dealer or distributor.
Now it’s your responsibility to set up your subwoofer following the recommendations set out in
