1) Insert the handlebar post [Image 2 above] into the front fork tube [Image 8 above]
2) Adjust to your preferred height, while at the same time keeping it within the “minimum insertion line.”
3) Then use the ‘handle bar post quick release’ to tigthen and secure by turning clockwise.

ATTACHING PEDALS
The Bike to Go is equipped with foldable bicycle pedals. Each bicycle pedal has an “R” for Right and an “L” for Left marked on the pedal. Please make sure that the correct pedal is prepared to be attached to the correct side. In order to attach pedals, you will need to use a wrench and turn towards the front fork in order to tigthen. Always check pedals are securely tightened prior to riding.
*** Please note, attempting to attach incorrect pedal side will strip the crank threads.
SADDLE POSITION
Correct saddle adjustment is an important factor in getting the most performance and comfort from your bicycle. If the saddle position is not comfortable for you, it is highly recommended that you adjust it. To check for the correct saddle height: Sit on the saddle, place one heel on a pedal, then rotate the crank until the pedal with your heel on it is in the down position and the crank arm is parallel to the seat tube.
If your leg is not completely straight, your saddle needs to be adjusted. If your hips must rock for the heel to reach the pedal, the saddle is too high. If your leg is bent at the knee with your heel on the pedal, the saddle is too low.
Once the saddle is at the correct height, make sure that the seat post does not project from the frame beyond its “Minimum Insertion” or “Maximum Extension” mark.
The saddle can be adjusted up and down from the seat post quick release, and angled from underneath the seat post. After adjusting saddle, please make sure that all adjustments are tightened prior to riding.
BRAKES
Your Bike to Go is equipped with a front and rear V Brake. It’s very important to learn and remember which brake lever controls what brake. Your bike will come already set and adjusted so that the left brake lever controls the rear brake. The right lever controls the front brake. Make sure your hands can reach and squeeze the brake levers.
All brake blocks are provided with grooves that indicate the wear on each block. When the grooves are worn down to a at surface, replace the blocks (in pairs) immediately. Brake pads should be 1 to 2mm from rim. If brake pads are less than that, they are too tight, and if the brakes are not tight enough, by applying pressure it will not brake properly.
