2.0 PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Thank you for choosing the Jetlun Appliance Module (RD75613). The Appliance Module is a 3-prong, ZigBee® and HomePlug® enabled electrical wall module that can be plugged into a standard wall outlet to monitor the energy efficiency of any electrical appliance or device and can be remotely controlled. When used in conjunction with the Jetlun Gateway (RD75606), multiple outlets in the same home can be tracked individually or as a group over the Internet giving you unprecedented insight into and control over your household energy footprint.
With the Jetlun Appliance Module, you can:
Measure and control the energy consumption of standard home electrical appliances
or devices
Gain insight into and control over your household energy footprint, improving your
overall energy efficiency
2.1 Package Contents
When you first open the box, please check and confirm that the following items are all included:
1x Appliance Module RD75613
1x Quick Installation Guide
If any of the parts are incorrect, missing or damaged, contact the retailer where you made your purchase. Keep the carton, including the original packaging materials in case you need to return the unit for repair.

The Power LED lights up GREEN and will stay on while the Appliance Module is powered on. When the Appliance Module goes through its self-diagnostic mode during every boot-up, this LED will flash GREEN. When the diagnostic cycle is complete, the LED will be GREEN and solidly lit. When the Appliance Module is operating on battery, the LED will flash RED. When the Appliance Module is recharging the battery, the LED will flash GREEN. The Zigbee LED continuously lights up GREEN when the Appliance Module is successfully connected to another Zigbee device on the network. If the LED is flashing, the Appliance Module is actively sending or receiving data over the network. If the LED is flashing RED, the Appliance Module is experiencing collisions on the network. The HomePlug LED continuously lights up GREEN when the Appliance Module is successfully connected to another HomePlug device on the network. If the LED is flashing, the Appliance Module is actively sending or receiving data over the network. If the LED is flashing RED, the Appliance Module is experiencing collisions on the network. The Zigbee Security LED is lit GREEN when it is connected to a Zigbee device on the network. If the LED is OFF, then the Appliance Module is not connected to a Zigbee network.

The Battery switch is where you turn on/off the backup battery in the Appliance Module. By default, the Appliance Module battery is turned OFF. It is recommended that you turn the battery to the ON position during installation. The Zigbee security button allows you to join/ leave a Zigbee network. Press the Zigbee security button for 4 seconds (until the Zigbee security LED is lit on the front panel) means you have successfully join the network. Press the Zigbee security button for 7 seconds or longer (until the Zigbee security LED is off on the front panel) means you have successful left the Zigbee network.

3.0 INSTALLING THE JETLUN APPLIANCE MODULE
Follow these quick steps to install your Jetlun Appliance Module.
3.1 Connecting the Jetlun Appliance Module to your Router
STEP 1: Turn ON the battery switch located on the bottom panel of the Appliance
Module.
STEP 2: Plug the Appliance Module directly into a wall socket.
IMPORTANT: Do not plug the Appliance Module into a UPS, power
strip, or other similar device with surge protection. The Appliance Module has its own power filter for protection against surges.
STEP 4: Refer to the Jetlun Gateway RD75606 User Guide on how to monitor and
control the Appliance Module through the Jetlun Gateway User Interface.
3.2 Joining a Zigbee Network
STEP 1: With the Appliance Module plugged into the wall socket, press and hold
the Zigbee security button located on the bottom panel of the Appliance Module for four (4) seconds or until the Zigbee security LED is lit on the front panel of the Appliance Module.
3.3 Leaving a Zigbee Network
STEP 1: With the Appliance Module plugged into the wall socket, press and hold
the Zigbee security button located on the bottom panel of the Appliance Module for seven (7) seconds or until the Zigbee security LED is OFF on the front panel of the Appliance Module.
