OWNER’S M ANUAL
Screw Jacks SJ-5T/10T/15T/20T/25T
• Read and understand the enti r e c ontents of thi s manual befor e attempting to use the screw jack.
• Never lif t more than the r ated capacity.
• Always make sure jac k is on a flat , lev el, and hard surfac e.
• Always center jac k under load.
• Never allow load to “t ilt” on t he jack as the jack may kick out causing injur y to the operator and/or the
load to fall.
• When usi ng more than one jac k to lift a load, each jack must have the lifting capacity of the entire
load being l ifted.
• Never force the screw past it s safety stop.
• Always replace damaged or missing labels.
Operation
1. Select a screw jac k with the proper lifti ng c apac ity.
2. Place on a flat, hard surface beneath the load to be lifted.
3. Use your hand to turn the screw out unt il it c ontacts the surface to be lifted.
4. Insert steel t ur ning bar (not suppli ed) in hole under lifting pad. See Parts List for optional turning bar.
5. Rotate turning bar counter-clockwise until desi r ed height is reached.
Each JET screw jack is provided wit h a safety stop to prevent the screw from coming all the w ay out
when the stop is reached! Do not f orce the screw! Never fo rce t he screw past the saf et y st op!
Failure to comply may cau se serious injury and/o r damage to pro perty and the jack!
