Downdraft Table
The Downdraft Table is a n optional accessory that can be
used with the following table saws:

Leveling the Table
1. Lay a straightedge across the saw table and downdraft
extension table.
The f ull le ngt h of the stra ig htedge sho uld be le vel w it h
the saw table at: a) the back of the table, b) front of the
table and c) points in between.
2. Determine if and where adjustment is needed.
The table (D) is secured to the steel frame (E) underneath
by nine wood screws. Eight shims (.020" thickness) are
provided which can be used individual ly or in combination
to achieve desired spacing.
If adjustment is required:
3. Loosen several wood screws (F1) underneath the table
(D) in the area requiring adjustment.
4. Place shim(s) between the steel frame (E ) a nd wooden
table (D).
5. Repeat step 1 to verify that required flatness is
reached. Adjust further if required, then sec ure table b y
tightening screws (loosened in step 3).
Place straight edge across both table (D) and dust grate
(C). Adjust dust grate (C) to be level with table (D) with set
screws (B).

Assembly and Installation
Note: The front and rear fence rails must first be installed
on the saw. Refer to the manual provided with the fence
and rail system. After fence rails have been installed,
proceed as follows:
1. Place table (D) on top of steel frame (E) and secure
from bottom with nine wood screws (F
2. Secure dust pan and chute assembly (J) to bottom of
table board (D) with eight remaining wood screws (F2).
3. Place hex nut (N) on adjustable foot (M), then screw
foot all the way onto bottom of legs (K).
4. Attach each leg (K) to table assembly securing with two
each button head sock et screws (G
flange nuts (H).
5. Attach cross brace (L) to each leg with two button head
socket screws (G2).
6. Bolt table assembly (steps 1, 2) to table saw rails using
hardware supplied with rail assembly. Refer to manual
provided with fence and rail assembly.
7. Adjust feet (M) to provide stability to legs (K) and table
assembly, then secure feet (M) by t ightening hex nuts
(N) against bottom of legs (K).
8. Place dust grate (C) into table opening.

Using the Downdraft Table
Sanding Operation – Place grommets (A) as needed into
grate (C) openings to prevent workpiece slippage during
sanding. Attach dust collector hose to dust chute (P)
underneath the table.
Tablesaw Operation – When sawing large workpieces,
remove grommets (A) if they interfere with the sawing
operation.
